Nice bar, welcoming and always clean. Excellent breakfasts, really good cappuccinos and croissants. The staff is friendly, smiling and makes you feel at ease right away.
09/10/2025: I've always found the staff at the counter to be friendly and smiling, and vegan, lactose-free, and even gluten-free options are available. Among the best I've ever found! There's also a small internal garden where you can sit for breakfast (or something else).

15/03/2026: A very charming place in the historic center of San Miniato. Francesco, the waiter who served us, despite being the only one in charge of the interior and exterior, was very attentive and efficient. The truffle crostini and artichoke tagliatelle were my favorite dishes.

21/12/2025: I had the bad idea of going into this bar for a coffee. After having my coffee (which wasn't very good, to put it mildly), I asked if there was a bathroom. They told me there wasn't one (and that's fine), but they treated me like I'd asked for something out of this world, treating me like a homeless person, and telling me I could use the bathrooms at the Christmas markets. I left, thanking them profusely. A few hundred meters later, I found another bar, had another coffee (which was certainly much better), and when I asked for a bathroom, they were very kind and (naturally!) let me go. I can't understand how these places manage to get customers. Probably tourists, I don't know!
15/11/2025: We had a cappuccino and a croissant. Everything was very good and the service was excellent.

04/12/2025: Last weekend me and my familly stopped here for dinner, usually i really enjoy a good quatro formaggi pizza. The presentation of the pizza was not bad at al, it looked like your usual pizza, but right of the bat i smelled something. At first i though someone at my table farted. But as i cut a piece and brought it closer to my face i realised this funky smell was the pizza. I took a bite and felt the gag reflection of my throat upon tasting this pizza. I could not fysically bring myself to eat this if i didnt want to puke. It was a MAGIC pizza (after 1 bite my apitite was supressed). If i where to describe the falvor id say smoked spoiled milk. I gave it to my mother who usually loves quatro formaggi and even she could not finish the pizza. On the otherhand the quatro stagioni was edible. I DIDNT SAY IT WAS GOOD. but if you are really hungry its definitly not the worst thing.
18/10/2025: A small restaurant with a large veranda where you can eat in the summer. The interior is nice and clean. I went on a Friday and it wasn't very crowded. Service was a bit slow due to the many takeaways. The pizza dough is good, light and easy to digest. The pizza is thin and has standard toppings, but no gourmet pizzas.
Below-average prices and good value. Definitely worth trying again.

07/12/2025: I didn't know it was a "Sicilian" place, so I ordered baked anelletti and eggplant caponata...
and it was like eating them in Palermo; then I discovered the restaurant's history...
Go there and you'll be as surprised as I was!
04/12/2025: I went here for an aperitivo: excellent food and plenty of choices for all tastes. The staff was friendly and quick with their service. Beautiful location, right in front of the Arco della Pace.
Recommended!

28/12/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this is to prevent others from wasting money on a business that doesn't deserve to exist. I've never had such a bad meal in a restaurant in my life. The chef and owner should do some soul-searching.
02/11/2025: We went for lunch today, there were six of us and a five-year-old. I give one star because it's the best. It was an embarrassing experience.
We sat down and ordered four appetizers, a penne pasta for the child, and six first courses.
45 minutes for a platter for four and 50 minutes for the child's pasta.
A small platter for four people, and they forgot the cheeses. After another 40 minutes, the first courses hadn't arrived, and I went to report it.
I was treated rudely by the owner, who raised her voice in front of everyone, embarrassing me. In short, she was rude.
A second later, the pici arrived, which were barely edible and cold.
We went to the cashier, paid, and spent €194. As we leave, we complain among ourselves, and the cook makes a "quaquaqua" noise while sneering. After the crap he'd served, he should have put down his apron and moved on to other jobs, just like the owners, who weren't able to handle the situation.
Please, you guys, avoid it while you're still on time.

02/03/2025: Vorrei dare zero se si potesse. 1,50€ per un panino piccolissimo, il caffè ho dovuto pagare 40 centesimi in più solo perché l’ho chiesto senza lattosio, come se fosse colpa mia che sono intollerante. Personale sgarbato, tazza sporca, e tavolo sudicio. No no no!
17/02/2025: Locale molto bello e ben curato, si vede che è stato ristrutturato da poco. Sia alla cassa che al banco, personale poco gentile, oserei dire sprezzante. Pasticceria veramente ottima e con una grande varietà 👍 Caffè non buono, per i miei gusti; direi sciaquettino 😭 comunque il locale è ben frequentato!

27/05/2025: We found this restaurant by recommendation from Italian friend who had visited here few years ago. The owner (in the picture) is awesome! we don’t speak Italian but he did his best to communicate with us. And the menu we ordered was out of the menu that time but he managed it for us!!! It was so nice to see his welcoming and efforts to make our dinner for the best 🥰 appreciate 🙏
We will go to see you again and enjoy your food Ciao 👋
