15/07/2025: Had a great dinner there. The pici pasta was excellent and the deer stew was done to perfection. As for the service, they were attentive, friendly and really seemed to enjoy their work (which is great to see).

15/06/2025: Da Nada sei a casa. In sala sono sempre con il sorriso, ti aiutano nella scelta e ti fanno sentire a tuo agio. Il cibo è di qualità, la proposta è senza fronzoli e va subito al sodo: cucina toscana fatta bene. Prezzi pure troppo bassi secondo me. Andateci e nn ve ne pentirete.

20/06/2025: For service for two they are few for the busiest times but they do a lot of work. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is magical, the souvenir photo with the polaroid: priceless. In the week spent in the area we made it a recurring stop. Well done

21/06/2025: My girlfriend and I had lunch at Il Rifugio a while ago and returned in the evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. Experience 10 out of 10, starting with the welcome: Gigliola was impeccable, very kind and very attentive. The local cuisine, authentic and full of flavors, was truly delicious. The environment is well-kept and charming, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

19/05/2025: Booked at the last minute in the evening returning from a trip to central Italy, genuine food that reflects the family management of the place, very courteous service and clean environment, correct quality-price ratio and generous portions. If I were to pass by again I would definitely go back

06/07/2025: We ordered a 600g Ribeye steak. What arrived at our table was a steak weighing no more than 400g, burnt, and smelling smoky and cold. We complained, and the waiter contradicted us, claiming that was how it was cooked. In the end, we were charged 840g for a poorly cooked steak. Our opinion was completely disregarded. It was an experience not to be repeated.

20/06/2025: We went to the Pub on Thursday night in this place, the turnout was average even though it was quite late, despite this we were served quickly. We ordered as an aperitif some French fries (very good) and some bruschetta with bacon and liver paté. Not bad, but the bread was not warm and toasted enough for our taste so the bacon was not melted. The sausage sandwich was very good and large especially for the price. The other sandwich seemed a bit small especially because it was considered XL on the menu.

03/06/2025: Posto davvero intimo e accogliente, carino e curato con servizio celere e personale cordiale e disponibile. La qualità del cibo e la location fanno da corollario al tutto. Torneremo.

28/05/2025: The pici all’aglione (pasta made of water and flour and seasoned with a tomato sauce with garlic) are excellent, as is the acquacotta (a typical local soup). The Florentine steak, strictly rare, is also excellent; the desserts at the end of the meal are also good.

25/05/2025: Strategic place for those passing by who want to eat something on the fly, good lampredotto, served both in a tray (also take-away) and in the classic sandwich. The place is informal and simple, there is little space inside, but outside there are seats both covered and not.. excellent in the nice season obviously.

26/06/2025: At Yenkees I had one of the best sandwiches of my life. Everything was perfect from the cooking to the fries with cheese, highly recommended. The hamburger felt that it was of very high quality, and I will not hesitate to return

12/04/2025: Buonasera, sono stata a mangiare in questo ristorante con un’amica. Abbiamo trovato la location calda e accogliente, personale cordiale e simpatico…nulla da reclamare. Cibo ottimo: abbiamo ordinato un antipasto per due che offriva diverse specialità di mare e a seguire un primo di scampi veramente ottimo. La scelta dei dolci non di nostro gradimento ma questa è solo un’opinione personale!!!! Il prezzo abbordabile… Consiglio questo locale a tutti.

23/06/2025: This was a very disappointing experience, I would have given zero stars if I could. Food we ordered wasn’t edible. Bread was mouldy and dry. Pan fried squid was in fact a stew with a suspiciously smelly squid. Pasta was very salty and black rice risotto tasted like rice cooked in unsalted water with a mix of leftovers king prawns cut offs (heads only!). Yes we are tourists , no we don’t speak Italian but we’re given English menu. No, we were not drunk. Just a middle aged couple out for what we hoped would be a nice dinner. We waited patiently , whilst tables around us were served food, even if they arrived later. We didn’t liked the starter nor mouldy bread but still not mentioned anything to the waiter. Once been served the pasta and rice , we couldn’t eat it. It looked and tasted revolting. We told the waiter we can’t eat it and won’t pay for it. She was fine with it, but didn’t really offered any explanation nor apologies. This was was quite peculiar since tables around us seemed to be served a fresh, tasty looking food that everyone seemed to be enjoying. I’m not a snob, nor a complainer but I know a difference between fresh honest food and crap served on the plate. If the restaurant doesn’t want to serve tourists they shouldn’t offer us a table. I can’t shake off the feeling this was done purposely. Such a shame as reading the reviews we were really looking forward to enjoy our dinner there.i hope none shares the experience we had.
