12/10/2025: TUSCANY Perfect lunch with authentic Tuscan flavors and warmth: traditional bruschetta with chicken livers and phenomenal polenta with mushrooms. Very tasty first courses, tordelli with truffles and pappardella with wild boar. To finish, a truly exquisite Fiorentina steak.

11/10/2025: We had a great experience at this restaurant on our first visit to Florence 10 years ago. We decided to return, which was a terrible idea. It was 8:15 PM and we didn't have a reservation, but the customer service representative told us we'd have to wait about 30 minutes for a table. We agreed, as we really wanted to repeat the experience we'd had in the past. We went for a walk and returned after 20 minutes. We waited the agreed-upon time and asked again about the table. This time, we were told we'd have to wait another 10 minutes. That was fine. We sat in the chairs right in front of the restaurant, waiting to be called. To our surprise, several people who also didn't have a reservation arrived at the restaurant and were quickly welcomed and seated, including a group of about 10 people. There were three of us, and we really didn't understand why we weren't called. Until, after an hour of waiting and seeing another group of four people without a reservation easily get a table, we lost our patience and went to the man serving customers. He simply said he hadn't called us because he hadn't seen us, even though we'd been sitting at the front of the restaurant for over 40 minutes! And he even had the audacity to offer us the worst table in the restaurant for dinner. Even tired and with headphones on, we found what happened incredibly disrespectful and decided to look for another restaurant in Florence. Terrible service! It was a shame, because this negative experience simply ruined the good memories we had of this restaurant. Never to return!

13/09/2025: I wanted to like this restaurant but I felt forgotten about. The ambiance was beautiful and seemed very posh, but my wine was never offered a refill and we were not offered secondi despite indicating we would like to order more. The worst offense (my warning to others) was my €50 reservation charge was not automatically deducted to the bill until I asked. Seemed like not an honest mistake and they were banking on folks not remembering that charge. That really upset me!

23/08/2025: Beware. Do not make a reservation because you will be charged the deposit AND the cost of your meal. The staff was rude, the restaurant was almost empty and our food was just OK. Americans beware.

10/09/2025: I'm sorry...but I ordered a sandwich that was kindly reheated for me, only (sadly) it was anything but fresh...

29/05/2025: We relied on this pastry shop for our wedding cake, I had the pleasure of speaking with Marco the owner. Marco was very kind in helping me with my doubts, advising us on how to set up the table. I knew that I could not keep up with this thing being the bride and talking to him gave me peace of mind, dealing with someone who loves their job always changes things for the better! We had tasted the cake at the tasting for the choice and it was delicious, the cake at the wedding was equally delicious and all the guests confirmed it . 26/09/2025: Spent two days in Gambassi Terme and had two delicious meals there. A lovely, atmospheric restaurant with a fantastic chef and pizza maker. We didn't make reservations either time, but luckily we were able to find a table. Both times, it was busy with both locals and tourists. Perhaps there could have been a few more waiters, but the wait wasn't unpleasant and wasn't too long. The menu is delicious and diverse, and definitely not expensive.

23/09/2025: A prime example of a restaurant seemingly ruined by its own success... on a weekday evening, the owner was serving with just one other person, but he let the place fill up completely. The result: angry customers who had to wait too long for their food, dissatisfied customers because the food wasn't good, customers who walked away laughing because they thought it was a joke, and a grumpy owner who couldn't devote any time or attention to his customers. The food is okay. The wild boar sauce was incredibly salty. The location is nice, and the seating is beautiful and relaxing.

01/10/2025: Yesterday, my daughter took me to lunch at the Oliandolo restaurant, an unexpected discovery... We had a wonderful time: the food was delicious, the staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, the location was captivating... everything was perfect. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

10/08/2025: We'd passed by it many times, but it was always crowded. Finally, on Friday, we managed to grab a glass. Excellent rosé wine and a great selection of bottles by the glass. The accompanying olives were also good. We didn't order anything to eat, but the selection seemed very well-curated. Prices were in line with the offerings and location.

29/07/2025: We happened upon this place on our vacation in Florence and loved the atmosphere, so we decided to go in for a drink. Italian wines by the glass, quite a variety, all of which were delicious, always recommended by the very young but highly professional and extremely friendly staff. They made us feel at home even though we were tourists. The toasts are delicious, and they have a wide variety to snack on while you enjoy a drink. The only downside is that we discovered it two days before we left, otherwise we would have gone every night. Best regards from your friends in Málaga, guys!

04/09/2025: The food was excellent, and the service was quick. The ingredients were top-quality, and the waiters were very knowledgeable and friendly. If you're in Florence and want to try a quality Florentine steak, I highly recommend it. I booked a table with TheFork and received a 30% discount on the à la carte menu. Come by (did I mention the food was excellent?!) The dishes are generous!

16/09/2025: The owner was very kind, and since I like simple food for dinner, I ordered a small sandwich. Just a thin slice of ham and a small slice of cheese. The owner added onions 🧅 and created a fresh sandwich with just the right flavor. It was a chef's choice sandwich! It was a wonderful local experience. Thank you very much.

31/08/2025: I ordered a tiramisu semifreddo for a birthday, and it was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten! Beautiful to look at and delicious, flavorful but not cloying, perfectly balanced, with a delightful texture, truly expertly made... Everyone loved it. The staff is attentive, friendly, and down-to-earth. From now on, this will be my go-to pastry shop for any occasion :)

06/10/2025: A fabulous Sunday lunch. The mixed crostini and flan were truly delicious, the fillet with porcini mushrooms and the stuffed chicken were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. Truly excellent. TOP wine, Coiano DOCG. We'll be back.

20/09/2025: The food is excellent, but although the waiter was friendly, we ordered an appetizer that arrived with the main courses, and an ice cream that was first forgotten and then took too long to arrive. Maybe they need more staff. Also, the drinks are quite expensive.
