27/02/2026: Favorite spot in Florence for a small bite and nice glass of wine. They know their stuff and make recommendations with confidence. Don’t miss the toasts with anchovies, butter and lemon zest. Sigh… I want to go back and get it again just thinking about it. Can’t visit Florence without this treat. I’ve revisited twice in the same three day trip a couple of times.

14/02/2026: Disgustingly slow. We waited over 30 minutes for dessert, and when we asked a waiter, he told us there was a mess in the kitchen. So we decided to leave. Another 15 minutes were wasted at the register because they had a cash register issue. The food is very good. The service is pretty much haphazard. If they remember you're there... great. Otherwise, you wait.

09/01/2026: I was pleasantly surprised... Happening by chance with my family during my lunch break, I had the pleasure of trying several dishes, from polenta and cod to cod meatballs, octopus in a sandwich, and seafood amatriiciana. Everything was truly delicious. Compliments also to the friendly and helpful wait staff, and the lovely, well-kept location—it feels like a typical island seafood restaurant! Compliments!

19/02/2026: We stumbled upon this small restaurant while passing by, craving Florentine steak, and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered steak, La Ribollita (Florence stew), Burrata cheese with a vegetable salad, and a 1/4 liter of wine. Served with bread, the portions were generous, just right for three people, and cost €67 in total. Each dish had its highlights. The steak was delicious, incredibly flavorful, with perfectly cooked fat, juicy and tender. The Burrata cheese was wonderfully fragrant, with a pure, creamy aroma, and the addition of crunchy almond slices and balsamic vinegar made it incredibly appetizing. The stew was also excellent, a dish we'd never seen before, but with a distinctly Florentine flavor. It had a homey, delicious taste, the vegetables were tender and cooked perfectly with the bread. The 1/4 liter of wine was only €3, a small bottle just right for our family, and it tasted great. After our meal, the restaurant even gave us some homemade chocolate liqueur to try. The flavor was unique, unlike anything we'd ever tasted before—like liquid chocolate liqueur. It's worth mentioning that the service was excellent. Although there weren't many foreign tourists in the restaurant, the young lady who took our order spoke English. When we asked to try a smaller steak, she explained the recommended doneness and weight, and thoughtfully showed us our selection before cooking to confirm (I was initially worried that such a weight-based cut of meat would be too much). When we mentioned we couldn't understand the Italian menu and wanted recommendations for non-pork dishes, she provided detailed introductions to several signature dishes. Throughout the meal, she frequently came to check on our experience. Our whole family enjoyed the meal immensely. The dining environment was also very pleasant, with a warm atmosphere and clean restrooms. I highly recommend it to anyone passing by! It was definitely a wonderful dining experience.

The menu changes seasonally and celebrates the ingredients of Tuscany with the precision and creativity of a kitchen that has been at the top of Italian fine dining for over forty years. Annie Féolde's cooking philosophy is fundamentally about respect — for the ingredient, for the tradition, for the guest. The pasta courses are extraordinary. The secondi are impeccable. But what makes Pinchiorri genuinely unique is the wine pairing. The sommelier team has a cellar that contains practically every great Italian vintage of the last fifty years alongside the great French and international classics. A meal here with full pairing is one of the peak food and wine experiences available anywhere in the world. I have been several times and it has never been anything less than extraordinary.

11/03/2026: Stunning food! We just had the most exquisite meal, starring the asparagus and caviar starter. This dish blew us away! The restaurant was pricier than we expected (our fault for not researching) but worth it! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The dining room is small and quiet thus we wished we could have eaten in the garden in a more relaxed natural setting, but weather did not allow. Our meal was served beautifully and filled with delightful surprises! Highly recommend!

24/11/2025: I celebrated my 30th birthday here. Everything was perfect! The dishes were carefully prepared and delicious. The service was perfect. Giulia was very nice and gave great advice, even on the menu. I'll definitely be back and I recommend it 100%!! Elisa

20/11/2025: A cozy and welcoming place, with friendly staff and excellent food. I had lunch with a friend and we ordered the same appetizer, consisting of lightly toasted crostini topped with porcini mushrooms and provola cheese; a true delight. For my first course, I enjoyed a delicate and flavorful purple cabbage risotto. My friend ordered pappardelle with wild boar sauce, which she also found to be perfect. The portions are generous and very satisfying.

24/02/2026: It's a small café, but it has its own character and style, which changes depending on the time of day, like the one I'm experiencing now, enjoying a good coffee sitting at the tables outside, which evokes a slightly Parisian atmosphere. Very pleasant and charming!

15/03/2026: For the coffee and cappuccino, 1 star no more, intolerant attitudes towards me from the brunette barista with short hair, a disabled person who has an intolerance for people with disabilities and yet I behave politely there, I pay immediately and even leave the chairs tidy, with a superior attitude one of the staff tells me that one of the pastry chefs heard me singing but apart from the fact that the thing was said to me in a malicious way then said by him and the pastry chef who didn't even introduce himself for goodness sake is rude regardless, I avoid it and the area seems to me to have no refreshment places and quieter ones too, then I get looked at dirty several times when I can from here and today 15 March 2026, I come back and the coffee for €1.30 bad and 4 drops, any pigeon would have drunk it to avoid falling asleep

17/03/2026: This review is more about the café (which always has excellent coffee and delicious pastries) than it is about Yousef, behind the counter, who, despite his young age, is a true professional: polite, tidy, and attentive. I wish him a bright future.
