20/10/2025: After visiting the beautiful village of Vinci, we stopped at this bistro for lunch. We ate outside. The food was excellent, made with quality ingredients. There are several wines to choose from. The Chianina beef tartare, roasted vegetables, and roast pork loin were excellent. The tiramisu with biscotti and vinsanto was unforgettable. The owner and waitress were extremely helpful and ready to offer suggestions and information. We had a wonderful time; it was a fantastic day!

13/10/2025: Super personalized service from the entire staff. They're very attentive to customers and cater to everyone's whims... ask what's on offer, and they'll always surprise you with dishes off the menu!

26/01/2026: You haven't had a sandwich until you've eaten here. Not only is the store in a great location and the service beyond amazing but the sandwiches. Oh the sandwiches. I never knew it was possible for meat cheese and bread to reach a level such as this. Not only the BEST sandwich I've ever had but one of the best food items I've ever eaten. Genuinely changed my perspective on a quality sammie.

20/01/2026: Immediately greeted by the door, and asked for a recommendation and man I’m glad that I did. This sandwich was amazing, and I will be going back. They also show love to the students by giving us special deals. Amazing shop!

28/12/2025: Just left the restaurant. The experience was excellent. The staff were kind and welcoming. The best Florentine steak I've ever eaten (2.2kg). The appetizers were also excellent.

16/11/2025: What a lovely place! The food was fantastic, 5 stars without a doubt! The service was friendly and helpful, if a little slow. But the setting... wow! The view of the lake is spectacular. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a party with friends. And if you need a place for your event, absolutely!

20/10/2025: I found myself in this place for an organized wedding, the staff were kind and helpful as bread, enchanting place, movie-like atmosphere, I highly recommend it to anyone, you made me spend one of the best evenings I've ever been out, compliments also to the chefs.

16/01/2026: Personally, I think this place is easier to walk around than the Uffizi, and there are fewer people. The indoor and outdoor environments are gorgeous and beautiful, and there are many beautiful paintings, sculptures and antiques!

05/01/2026: We took a weeklong trip around Italy (from north to south) yet this was the BEST coffee we had. We ordered two lattes which were amazing and very very affordable (1.50 euro ish I think). The foam, milk, and the coffee mixed so well together and we would definitely go back to Florence just for this coffee. The counter staff were also super kind and friendly. Definitely something to try!!

23/01/2026: The oldest restaurant in Firenze with distinctive deliciousness on offer! Antique photos, clocks, memorabilia decorate the walls. We had the polenta, salumi, manzo grigliata, coniglio, papardelle di cinghiale and tagliatelle di manzo. I’d re-order everything just to eat it all over again!

10/01/2026: My partner and I ate a delicious Florentine steak!! The staff even accommodated us with the cooking!!! The baked potatoes were delicious!! A very traditional restaurant with a wide selection of Tuscan dishes. Recommended place with an excellent location behind the Uffizi Gallery.

16/01/2026: We stopped for an aperitivo: nothing to complain about the quality of the cured meats, which we enjoyed. The ingredients are good, and the platter is well-crafted. That said, I think there are better schiacciaterias in Florence, even on the same street, and perhaps less well-known. The welcome wasn't the best, and the staff seemed a bit cold. It may have just been a bad day, but the overall experience could be improved.
