The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is currently closed while they repair the damage. We really enjoyed our visit. But this is a review of the

If you're looking for a place where you can pay gourmet prices for cold linguine in an unsanitary environment, this is the place!
As soon as we sat down... there were still remnants of the previous diners' meals and an ashtray full of cigarette butts. It's unacceptable that in such a small place, the waiters could be so distracted as to forget everything, even the cutlery, for over a quarter of an hour, letting the serving dish cool before our eyes: we were invisible to the table attendants. The same embarrassing situation for our neighbors, who asked in vain for paper napkins for their daughter!
Space is at a premium, tables facing the street are to be avoided; they're crowded, and the smell from the harbor (far from pleasant) makes lunch unpleasant. A real shame because the food is well-cooked, but at this price, service and cleanliness should be a priority, not an optional extra.
What left us perplexed was how everything was weighed at once and in such a rush by the chef or cashier (like standing in line at the supermarket) without even giving you the slightest bit of time to choose what you wanted; the octopus, shrimp, calamari, oxeye, mussels, and sea urchins were all weighed at once, a shame the weight paid didn't correspond to the quantity on the plate.
Reading about the impeccable service in the reviews of this place, even though the waiters were completely inefficient, made us realize how valuable friendships can be...

18/02/2026: This palace is absolutely amazing. Very nice staff and the owner is incredibly sweet.
We spent 3 days and was really sad that we had to leave.
You can take wonderful walks in there gardens that are really quiet, a perfect place to relax and rewind.
The food was spot on perfect, fresh and genuine.
The room was big and very clean.
Definitely a place to visit.
We will be back for shore.

19/09/2025: Best granita in Sicily! We were recommended this place on our first day in Sicily by our local host in Catania. He said we wont find a better granita in the world. We tried 14 different Granite in one week in different cities. They all had 4,x ratings BUT Condorellis is in fact by far the best. We came back 3 times and will return before we have to leave Sicily even though it will take us an aditional hour to get there. Highly recommend and I hope to come back one day.

06/01/2026: Excellent bar with excellent breakfast and magnificent aperitifs... the staff is very competent, especially the manager Giuseppe, who always welcomes you in the morning with a smile and a warm welcome.
11/11/2025: I visited this place for the first time, and overall I was pleased. The staff are friendly (except for the fact that I was alone and didn't even say hello to the waitresses when I walked in with my friend right in front of them). The atmosphere is nice. And I was pleased that they listen to the customer's needs.

The ricotta ravioli is excellent, distinguished by its thin pastry and generous filling, accompanied by a steaming, creamy coffee.
The arancini with ragù have a rich meat filling and the quality is truly extraordinary.
The granitas in the summer are exceptional.

A truly excellent experience at Bar Alecci! Every time, it's a testament to quality and deliciousness. Breakfast here is a true pleasure: the granita is exquisite, creamy, and authentically flavored, one of the best I've ever had. The brioche is delicious, soft, fragrant, and perfect with granita.
All the other breakfast items are also excellent: fresh, fragrant, and generously filled croissants, with a selection to suit every taste. The ricotta cannoli are a must-try: simply fantastic: fresh, creamy, and delicately flavored ricotta, encased in a perfectly crispy wafer. The cream-filled panzerotti are also irresistible, soft and delicious—a true treat.
Another great strength is the staff, always kind, smiling, and helpful, making you feel at ease from the first moment. Fast yet attentive service, customer service, and a wealth of courtesy.
A bar that pays attention to every detail and where you can feel the passion for their work. Highly recommended for a quality breakfast or to indulge in a moment of pure pleasure. I'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

15/03/2026: What can I say? The structure was very nice, but it was absolutely unsuitable for all the tables it contained. It was absolutely packed; you couldn't even move your chair. The waitresses had to do acrobatics to get through. The problem would have been a tragedy if they had to escape for any emergency. The waitresses were very kind. The only thing was that they got one order wrong and, instead of replacing it with the one requested, they left what was there. The pizza was decent. The only thing was not to overcrowd all the tables because it had become a real party. We left with a headache. Otherwise, the prices were absolutely reasonable.
14/03/2026: I booked a table for 17 people using the app, and we were all seated at the scheduled time without a problem. The pizza was delicious with excellent ingredients, the desserts were exceptional, and the staff was welcoming and ready to accommodate our every request.

07/11/2025: What a wonderful discovery on our way back from Etna! We were staying in Piedimonte Etneo and spontaneously stumbled upon Barone di Villagrande. Without a reservation, we asked if a wine tasting and tour were possible, and that was no problem at all.
We received an incredibly warm welcome and enjoyed five delicious wines, each perfectly paired with a matching snack. The setting, the friendliness, and the passion with which everything was explained made it all complete. An unexpected highlight of our trip.
Thank you for the wonderful welcome. We will be back with great pleasure! 🍷✨
25/10/2025: A sensory experience with a breathtaking view, between Mount Etna and the sea, among the vineyards and an ancient farmhouse with a cellar and its own wine production. Very professional staff, excellent wine tastings masterfully paired with haute cuisine. Very satisfied. Highly recommended.

26/09/2025: Chiosco Italia is a very nice café with a lively atmosphere and plenty of young people. They offer lots of fresh options like smoothies, salads, fruit, and yogurt, as well as all the classic coffee drinks. The cappuccino was excellent and only €1.80. We really liked it here—a great spot for a quick and refreshing break!

01/11/2025: FINALLY THE REAL NAPLES RAME.
This is the time of year when I start trying different bars to find the original recipe for the Neapolitan rame, which remind me of my childhood, but it's been a long time since I've been able to eat a real one. Until I tried this bar and... I can finally say that these are the real original rame, made according to the traditional recipe!
I highly recommend them; you won't regret it!
Besides the delicious food, I noticed the spotless rooms and very friendly staff (especially Giuseppe, the guy at the cash register).
I'm super satisfied, I'll definitely be back!
