09/08/2026: If there had been an option to give 0 stars, I would have. Disorganized and inattentive to customers.
I totally do not recommend.
The atmosphere is only "noted."
06/08/2026: Bar Alecci is a surefire choice when it comes to granitas. The pistachio one (which I always order) is top-notch. The waiters are friendly and helpful. The place could definitely use a makeover, but the quality of the offerings is top-notch. Highly recommended!

24/07/2026: I've been going to this sandwich shop for three years now, but today I had a really bad experience with the service, starting with a quiet complaint about the horse meatballs at 8:00 PM and ending with the insinuation that I'm not from Catania.
My review obviously isn't aimed at all the guys who work there, but only at the guy I had this "experience" with. I hope it was just a coincidence.
