27/08/2024: I'm sorry to give a low rating but we had a bad experience a few days ago. in particular we drank a few beers and one was completely changed in taste. it is probably due to a barrel that has been patented, stored or transported poorly or the tapping route is dirty. in any case these are not acceptable things for a pub that makes beer its strong point

21/05/2024: We ate very well, had a plate of mixed meat roast and some Fish & Chips. Everything well prepared, plentiful and tasty, excellent quality. Dishes included a generous side of salad and fries. Excellent choice of beers including a 0 alcohol Nastro Azzurro (unfortunately I can't drink alcohol and I really appreciate it when a place also offers this possibility).
The staff were very kind, in particular the owner who welcomed us with a gift from the house, while we waited for the dishes ordered (two excellent dried tomato tarts) and at the end he also offered us coffee...
Nice place in the classic Irish style.
I will certainly return to the next stop of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Galatina for lunch or on other occasions when I am in the area.

19/08/2024: Compliments to the cuisine and the service, the chef cares a lot about the quality of the fish and the cuisine of the past.
We had a great time and if we can, we'll go back for a first course before leaving.
Excellent value for money, recommended!

A real feast with bresaola, beef tartare, anchovies, burrata, fresh avocado, followed by the most delicious meaty lasagne. Accompanied by a delightful dry white and completed with a tiramisu. An unforgettable evening at a fantastic family-run restaurant. We’ll be back!

14/07/2024: Me and my girlfriend booked a wine tasting experience here. We went into it not expecting a whole lot but we were very pleasantly surprised.
There was 4 different wines that we tasted all of which were accompanied by a generous portion of different foods, meat, cheese, olives, ect.
Everytime a wine came out the owner Michael told us all about the wines and the aromas and tastes. He was extremely knowledgeable and super kind. He really made the experience alot of fun.
It only ended up being the two of us that night, I assume we got lucky. But this was one of the best wine tasting experiences we have had and I definitely recommend trying it!
We didn't end up trying the restaurant portion but I am sure that it is just as amazing as the service. I took a photo of the menu for those inclined.

22/12/2023: Ambiente originale, tranqillo e rilassante e caloroso, ideale per trascorrere una serata piacevole tra amici o per una cenetta en tête. Ottima birra alla spina e varie bevande. Panini e spuntini con taglieri di gustosissimi salumi e formaggi serviti al tavolo anche sul terrazzino.
Proprietario premuroso e molto simpatico che fa di tutto per accontentare suoi clienti. Buona musica di fondo e buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Da conoscere assolutamente.
