18/01/2026: We frequent Bar Del Corso quite often, especially for afternoon coffee breaks, where we usually go in large groups. Despite this, the place always manages the crowds well, maintaining orderly and efficient service.
The ginseng coffee is good, consistently high in quality, and always a pleasure to drink. However, what really makes the difference is the service: the staff is very courteous, polite, and attentive, with a friendly approach that never wavers even when the place is busy.
It's precisely this attention to customer service that keeps us coming back regularly. A reliable bar, ideal even for large groups, where you can find a good product and, above all, service that always leaves a positive impression.

09/02/2026: First of all, I'd like to thank the man with glasses who also works the cash register and the curly-haired redhead, who, always ready and attentive to customers, make the difference in this wonderful place. What more can I say? Excellent and always fresh breakfast pastries, delicious coffee, and so much more. The place is spotless, very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating and easy parking. I prefer coming to this bar even when I'm on the other side of town. Truly, congratulations! 👍👍👍

17/03/2026: A typical local pastry shop with a much wider selection than the usual fancy pastry shops, especially specialties from Lecce. The deli is also pleasant, and the atmosphere is certainly old-fashioned, but the care, cleanliness, and kindness of the owners weigh far more heavily than the trendy decor.

23/10/2025: Simply fantastic. Starting at 3:00 p.m., the restaurants in Otranto go into siesta. The small bistro Il Maestrale remains open. It's a great atmosphere. A beautiful view of the small marina. The food is delicious. The service is very attentive and friendly. A definite recommendation.

All the ingredients are there for a pleasant evening. The service is always attentive but never intrusive. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, as is the kitchen's ability to showcase them. The pairings are never predictable, the result of extensive research and genuine passion.
The wine list deserves special mention,
the selection of Italian and French sparkling wines is excellent.

24/02/2026: One word: TOP!!! Definitely my favorite restaurant in Lecce, a very elegant and welcoming location, with attention to every detail. The staff is very professional, always attentive and ready to satisfy customers' requests. The food is extraordinary in quality and preparation. The raw ingredients are treated with skill and mastery by Chef Civilla. I personally love risotto, but whatever dish you choose, it will always be incredibly good. The fish, in all its preparations, is always fresh. A well-stocked and high-quality wine cellar completes this magical place. The prices are definitely above average, but if you're looking for average food, this isn't the place! EXCEPTIONAL and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

03/11/2025: Hands down the best fondente cioccolato (dark chocolate) gelato in Puglia, and I covered pretty much all of Puglia in 7 days. The gelato was softer than the others I’ve experienced (twice a day in every little town) and super rich and creamy. The latte macchiato and tea were “normal” and great. Setting was lovely too, in Gallipoli’s old town on an island connected by a bridge. No phot as I ate it too fast!

08/02/2026: I have to report two unfortunate incidents:
I know the restaurant thanks to The Fork, and after eating there a couple of times, I decided to return and book through the The Fork app.
First incident: I booked through The Fork on New Year's Eve with the regular à la carte menu and a 20% discount, with confirmation of the reservation via email. I was contacted a day before and told that the reservation could be confirmed, but the discount would not be applied, and the à la carte menu was transformed into a fixed menu at an unreasonable price. Obviously, my refusal resulted in the cancellation of the reservation, ruining New Year's Eve (but that's understandable).
Second incident: Last night, I booked through The Fork for two with a 20% discount, and 1 hour before the booked time, I was contacted and told that they had an issue with the portal and that my reservation could not be confirmed (even though I have the restaurant's confirmation email)!
Nor do I speak to friends who use The Fork, and they too have received last-minute cancellations due to technical problems on other days.
Repeat offender!!!
The doubt remains... and the disappointment is profound!!!

23/08/2025: The rooms aren't much, but the pool is large and beautiful. The residence is a wonderful place to stay, and it's just steps from Baia dei Turchi. The location is excellent and the place is very, very beautiful.
17/07/2025: The rooms and bathrooms need renovation...the pool is top notch and the outdoor spaces and parking are excellent too.
