21/07/2026: Yesterday afternoon, I accompanied my children to Parco Gondar in Gallipoli for a concert. While waiting for the event to end, I took a stroll downtown with my wife. The sirocco wind was unbearably hot, and once we reached the old town, I decided to cool off with a tonic. My wife had recommended a nice ice cream shop, but I opted for a more basic-looking bar, convinced I'd save money. ​I couldn't have made a worse choice. I went to the cashier and they slapped me a €6 bill. I repeat: €6 for a tonic! Adding insult to injury, I asked for a slice of lemon and the bartender told me they didn't have any. The drink was served directly at the counter, with three measly ice cubes, in a glass advertising beer. A pitiful service, to say the least. ​I understand that I'm in the center of Gallipoli, but taking advantage of people like this, tourists or otherwise, is pure dishonesty. They're hoping to make money from record in a single day, offering terrible service in a place that doesn't even have air conditioning. Not recommended."

30/07/2026: I'll start by saying I had fun at the karaoke, but what I tried wasn't to my liking: dated tarallini and spongy, not crispy, bruschetta. Fix that up a bit. Thank you so much.

16/02/2026: The staff is exceptionally kind: they make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, with a smile and excellent beer recommendations. We had a wonderful meal (you can tell the quality of the ingredients is top-notch!), and the value for money is excellent. I'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!

This really made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious: we savored every bite, from start to finish, with flavorful and generous dishes. All this in the beautiful setting of a charming and welcoming square, which made the experience even more memorable. A huge thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome. If you're ever in Lecce, I recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

15/07/2026: My entrance to the 'new' Café dei Napoli? Something so parodic causes uncontrollable joy! Lactose intolerant for 11 years, I find these walls simply contain paradise, be it in the form of gelato, deli, or various desserts. Entering your place, having so much choice, so much selection, is truly something I will never stop being grateful for. Combining goodness, professionalism, flavor, and foresight... simply a dream oasis! Superplus points for the amazing hazelnut lobster tails. I hadn't eaten them in so long, and only thanks to you did I feel as happy as a child! Absolutely stunning, highly recommended!

29/07/2026: Slow service; we had to open our own towels, after repeatedly asking, to avoid suffocation. The food was poor quality (the fried food was inedible), the pizzas looked like Frisbees with mozzarella on top. Above all, the entire staff was unhelpful and unfriendly, especially the blonde foreign manager. After paying, about €350, someone asked for a liqueur or coffee and started a heated argument, saying, "Why should I offer you that? Where else do they offer that?..." and blah, blah, AVOID, hoping the waiters and especially the blonde change.

21/01/2026: Excellent place located in the center of Villa Baldassarri, my favorite village! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent desserts. Definitely worth a visit!

12/06/2026: I bought a tray of marzipan cookies to bring to the office to impress my colleagues. When I opened them and tasted them, they were rock-hard, dry, inedible... like stones. I made a terrible impression! Never again!

08/08/2026: Unpleasant staff, they make mistakes with the order, and prices vary depending on the customer. Avoid at all costs.

05/08/2026: Yesterday I ordered a simple soda with Aperol and the price was dishonest to say the least, €8. The reasoning behind this price was shameful: "It's seen as just another cocktail," when in reality it's not a cocktail.
