16/11/2025: First time in Galatina for a pasticotto, and a cappuccino doppio. Popular spot, and friendly staff. The pasticotto had a distinct "well done" finish which we really liked. The crema was smooth and not too sweet for our pallet. Lots of other fresh items to be sampled at a later date no doubt 😍

03/10/2025: I wanted to thank the Crystall Bar team. I ordered 40 mini Pasticciotti and 20 mini Fruttani to take to my colleagues at MediaWorld in Milan so they could try the Galatinese pasticciotto. And after a 14-minute drive due to various interruptions along the way, they delivered it this morning when the store opened. I received nothing but compliments, which I pass on to the Crystal Bar team. Thank you. The MediaWorld Milano team started the day well. They won you over.

14/01/2026: Very nice place, very good food, recommended

27/12/2025: Never again! Poor food: I ordered fries (inedible!) and two sandwiches, one lightly toasted on the top and cold on the bottom, and the other completely cold and untoasted. The ingredients inside were scant and of poor quality. The beers were served quite a while after the fries arrived, and the location was extremely uncomfortable due to the cramped space and broken seating.

14/12/2025: Excellent location in one of the towns of Salento where there is practically nothing...at least a corner with lots of sweets and good service, even if the atmosphere really leaves a lot to be desired...Pasticciotto and Via!!!

26/11/2025: Different prices for tourists. Taranta Night: the afternoon before the party, beers had one price, and by evening, the prices had magically increased. The owner's explanation: it's a party, so I'm raising the prices because, having more customers, I had to hire another bartender, and besides, it's still cheaper than up north. If you don't remember me, I'm the Taranto native who told you that tourists aren't stupid; they pay the first time, and the second time, they don't come back. Don't complain that there's less and less tourism in Salento; you deserve it.

26/08/2025: While strolling through the town streets before dinner, we stumbled upon this truly charming and unique bar. The many positive reviews of their drinks piqued our curiosity, and we can confirm: they're truly worth it! 🍸 Michele, who looked after us, was kind and attentive, as well as very skilled at making cocktails. He also recommended some local gins, making the experience even more enjoyable. A truly memorable place, definitely worth a visit.

24/08/2025: Rude waiters and owner. There are much friendlier places all around that serve happy hour aperitif with food included in their drink price. View is not great.

15/11/2025: I've known them for over a year now, and I've found their dry pastries excellent, but their fresh ones much less so. On two occasions when I bought a cake, the first for a child's birthday party, ordered with specific ingredients, we found ourselves with what they decided to sell us that didn't correspond to what we asked for, and it was also of extremely low quality. We said to ourselves, "Mistake can happen." The next day, we politely offered our opinion, and they acted sorry. This last time, however, on November 11th, the feast of St. Martin, invited by friends for dinner, we stopped by the pastry shop and were struck by an apple pie with a sweet plate with a beautiful phrase about friends written on it. Because of that written phrase, we had the cake wrapped for €29, and in the evening we showed up at our friends' house. Imagine our disappointment when we saw that the plate with the writing was no longer on the cake, plus we had told our friends about the beautiful phrase in advance. The bottom line was that we were disappointed, and the cake was of extremely poor quality, worse than frozen cakes. The next day, my wife and I stopped by to make the We complained, and the gentleman who answered us, not very apologetic, kept repeating that he thought it strange that the plaque with the phrase wasn't there. This, to me, means that we bother complaining just to gain some advantage from telling a lie. We closed the matter by telling him we wouldn't be going again.

21/02/2026: This place exudes an atmosphere of serenity and privacy. The staff is friendly and professional. Master Giovanni, always present and attentive, imparts nuggets of wisdom on the art of pastry making, sharing many interesting anecdotes from his long experience in the industry... it's always a pleasure to listen to him. And then there's the quality, so much quality, of all the products, still prepared artisanally with love and passion. I continue to recommend this place, as I have since 1993, the year I began visiting lower Salento. Pasticciotto, a gold medal. For me ☆☆☆☆☆S.

15/03/2026: Never again have 5 Raffo beers, 20 euros, I served myself from the fridge, I didn't want glasses, when in the grocery stores 3 beers cost 1.79. I understand that a bar has expenses but exaggerating, it doesn't matter I will never go there again, they are poor things.
