17/01/2026: This place is the swear word of Varese. Extremely rude, unfriendly, and a place straight out of the 1950s, but it has its reasons. Hahaha, they're so rude they're hilarious. If you don't laugh about it, your coffee will go down the wrong way. 😂

18/01/2026: I ordered 4 pastries (not even very good), 1 glass of sparkling water, and 1 coffee without table service, and I spent €7.80. I asked if they had made a mistake and was showered with insults, as well as being told that these are the prices in Milan. Unfortunately for them, I live in Milan and have never seen these prices, not even at the train station, which is incredibly expensive. HORRIBLE! I also pointed out that a few steps away there is a bar, pastry shop, and bakery where you can spend much less and have GOOD pastries... they also showered them with insults, saying that the place smells, and that's NOT TRUE. I am a customer and have no relationship with the other pastry shop, and slandering them doesn't make them lose customers. You fool people once, not twice.

12/01/2026: Very good pastry shop. Great place for a good breakfast. The croissants are delicious and super filling!

17/03/2026: The Margherita pizza and water menu costs €10.90. Unfortunately, if the waitress doesn't hear or pretends not to hear when you say the magic word "menu," you pay €13.90. And there's no need to mention this at the cashier: the waitress's word is worth more than the customer's. I've already posted as suggested in the reply. No response.

17/03/2026: Rosso Pomodoro at Milan's Central Station fits perfectly into the typical dining environment of large train stations: everything works, but nothing really stands out. The food is generally good, without any obvious flaws, but also lacking any particular inspiration or distinctive elements that make it memorable. The service, however, seems rather distracted. The staff seems to do their job automatically, with little attention to the customer, who almost ends up feeling transparent. This isn't overt rudeness, but a general lack of engagement. In short, the experience reflects what seems to have become the norm at Central Station dining options: an average offering, functional but unambitious, where you can eat without any fuss but are unlikely to want to return by choice.

02/01/2026: The worst chicken I've ever had in my life. I ordered two portions of fried chicken and fries through Glovo. Dirty, old, frozen chicken, full of red spices for color, fatty and raw inside, and all sticky like glue. The fries are the same, the same flavor, and all stuck together. Who knows how long it's been since you changed that oil, especially since I'm sure they fry the fries and chicken together. Horrible. They make people sick. Two portions of chicken ended up in the organic waste bin, not to mention a waste of money. Disgusting.

25/01/2026: We bought a panettone for Christmas. The packaging was very beautiful (in fact, I gave it 2 stars), but the panettone itself was absolutely mediocre and probably old. The inside was not very soft, dull yellow, and a bit stale. I don't recommend buying panettone.

30/11/2025: Pasticiotto without amarena cherries, terrible coffee (tastes burnt), 3 Marie croissants (or similar), cannoli made with pre-packaged wafers. Very friendly staff.

16/01/2026: I went for breakfast, a cappuccino with wholemeal brioche, the price €4 without a receipt seems excessive to me 🙄 I understand Pastry shop at least the price is derailed

25/11/2025: A good bar that's now a bistro and no longer calls itself "Five Star." Friendly and attentive staff, excellent croissants for breakfast. Also serves lunch.

03/03/2026: On a sunny day, being able to sit on the banks of the lake and savor the fragrance of delicious croissants (brioches) accompanied by an excellent cappuccino is priceless!

23/02/2026: A fantastic place right by the lake with a view. Reasonable prices and a large aperitivo for the price of a drink. I highly recommend it.

13/12/2025: I don't know if the staff knows they're at work or if they're all at the bar, having a cigarette break, with no one on duty. Awful experience. I don't recommend it at all.
