06/01/2026: Despite the good/decent aperitif dinner, the rudeness at the cash register made the experience unpleasant.

13/12/2025: I don't know if the staff knows they're at work or if they're all at the bar, having a cigarette break, with no one on duty. Awful experience. I don't recommend it at all.

11/11/2025: Typical tourist place where you are used to all kinds of human cases, the welcome at the entrance is like a post office.

25/11/2025: A good bar that's now a bistro and no longer calls itself "Five Star." Friendly and attentive staff, excellent croissants for breakfast. Also serves lunch.

06/10/2025: It's so delicious, it's one of the top 3 restaurants I ate at in Italy. Fried rice with meatballs, the aroma is so good

02/01/2026: The worst chicken I've ever had in my life. I ordered two portions of fried chicken and fries through Glovo. Dirty, old, frozen chicken, full of red spices for color, fatty and raw inside, and all sticky like glue. The fries are the same, the same flavor, and all stuck together. Who knows how long it's been since you changed that oil, especially since I'm sure they fry the fries and chicken together. Horrible. They make people sick. Two portions of chicken ended up in the organic waste bin, not to mention a waste of money. Disgusting.

30/12/2025: I paid for lunch, but due to the condition of the place, I chose not to eat. As a result, I wasted both money and food.

03/01/2026: Unspeakable. We sat down with three small children. After interminable minutes, they served the entire table, but my dish never arrived. After I asked twice and even said I was willing to change my dish to get it served in a reasonable time, since it wasn't possible to ask children to sit for two hours, they preferred to refund me, leaving me with an empty stomach. Shameful.

We had a wonderful time and I cannot recommend it enough! ​The Food: Every dish was absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients in every bite. It is clearly prepared with care and passion. ​The Service: The staff provided wonderful service. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our entire meal. ​The View: To top it all off, the view is simply breathtaking. Sitting by the water and taking in the stunning scenery of Lake Como makes the dining experience truly magical. ​Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner or a pleasant lunch by the lake, this is the perfect spot. We will definitely be back!

28/07/2025: Excellent breakfast and a wonderful venue that, in addition to the bar, offers various cultural events, including photography and art exhibitions (I've had the pleasure of exhibiting there on two occasions). Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, highly recommended 🌷

07/04/2025: The gentleman at the checkout is unprofessional and disrespectful towards the customers. I don't think I'll ever go back there again. Lodi is packed with bars, perhaps it would be better for you to have a more appropriate and kinder attitude given that the products sold are below average. Their products are absolutely poor quality, one of the worst brioches I've ever tasted (since I couldn't finish it). Their advantage is certainly not working well, having quality products or being kind to customers but rather the location which is close to the hospital. For intellectual honesty I would like to point out that the girl who served was efficient regarding the speed of the service but this, together with the position, will be enough for us if everything else is inadequate.

06/12/2025: After a 20-minute wait, I was forced to forgo my (paid for) coffee due to the clerks' complete inability to manage the large influx of people and respect the order of the receipts.

04/12/2025: The cutlet sandwich had a smoky taste, as if something had been burned on the grill beforehand... I would have liked something else, but it was very obvious that the other sandwiches weren't any better... the cold cuts weren't fresh, the dark color was definitely from the day before, the mozzarella was slightly dry and no longer bright white... (After 18 years in the restaurant business, I can honestly say I can recognize a product made 1-2 hours earlier...)

17/01/2026: This place is the swear word of Varese. Extremely rude, unfriendly, and a place straight out of the 1950s, but it has its reasons. Hahaha, they're so rude they're hilarious. If you don't laugh about it, your coffee will go down the wrong way. 😂

04/10/2025: We've appreciated the quality of Befed chicken for years, so much so that we stopped by for lunch or dinner every time we were there. But the last time I visited, I noticed the chicken was shrunken and the fries were more than halved. I asked for an explanation and was told that they only reduced the quantity of fries because so many were being thrown away and the aim was to reduce waste. Okay, that's fair enough, but then lower the price too! Or offer separate portions (small and large) at different prices. I have the feeling that behind the valid, and understandable, anti-waste justification lies a new marketing strategy: "shrink flation." Honestly, we'll avoid returning because we left feeling hungrier than when we arrived. A real shame!

04/06/2025: 2 flavors of ice cream for €3.50!!! You'd practically need a microscope to find the ice cream!!! I asked for the meringue (he didn't have time to make it)!!! It was 4 PM!!! When do you think you'll make it? Tonight???? Never again...
