13/11/2025: The girls at the counter were rude and impolite. We asked for the bathroom. Even though a customer had come in, another girl with short, straight, black hair and plump skin came in, and without even looking at us, she started gossiping about us. I don't think it's appropriate, especially working downtown. Even a girl came up to the counter to ask for a coffee, and they didn't even look at her to talk to each other. I don't think so! Never again!!!

13/11/2025: If I could, I'd give it 0 stars! Both the guy at the cashier and the blonde girl were incredibly rude and unfriendly. When we asked questions, they always answered arrogantly. We asked about the bathroom service and were rudely told there weren't any. Shortly afterward, we saw that they let a customer into the bathroom. Never again!

04/01/2026: Honestly, it seems absurd to me that such a popular place can't offer gluten-free bread or focaccia. Even more serious is that a celiac person has to pay the same price for an aperitivo as someone who can eat gluten, despite not being able to consume bread, breadsticks, or focaccia, and with no other options to choose from.

11/01/2026: An adult and two children stopped for lunch. No coffee or dessert, just a starter, a paltry main course, and polenta for €84. Small portions and ridiculous prices. We left hungry. New management, but I don't recommend stopping.

06/01/2026: A mountain lodge near the slopes, modernized with tasteful details, impeccable service, and a variety of traditional and non-traditional dishes. The only drawback is the slightly high prices.

18/10/2025: I went there several times with my wife and two children from 1990 to 1995, and it was our favorite restaurant. The food was excellent, and the owner was a bit unusual but very friendly. Then the children grew up, and we moved on to another vacation destination. We went again, with my wife, in 2003 or 2004, and the old owner wasn't there, but a young lady welcomed and served us, and we regretted not asking for the old owner...

01/11/2025: We were walking around the area and, on our way back to the apartment, we sat down at this place to have a Spriz and stayed for a second round. Very good and the staff very nice and attentive! How lucky we found them!

26/07/2025: We tried 6 different cocktails and they were all excellent. We also got chips with the cocktails and welcome drinks. Great prices, offer and service!

28/01/2026: Yesterday afternoon we stopped at this sad bar where a rude, unpleasant bartender—and I'll stop here—charged us €6.00 ​​for a coffee and half a cup of tasteless, cold hot chocolate! Perhaps in Lugano I would have paid that much... dishonest, with rude, unpleasant bartenders, it's really awful!

25/01/2026: The place is nice, but… be careful because the pastries are often old: I had sfogliatelle and cannoli, and the cream was sour and dry, a sign that it was two days old! Given the price, something like this should never happen!!! Never again!!!

29/10/2025: Wednesday, October 29th, at 1:30 PM, we're standing in line with no one at the cash register. Three people are in the back and no one is giving receipts. Six people ahead of us are grumbling. Having little time for lunch, we decide to leave. This happens often.

28/10/2025: Great experience! The piadinas are always fresh, well-filled, and made with quality ingredients. I stopped by today at noon during my work break, and the service was incredibly fast. A special thanks to the cashier, who is always kind, smiling, and helpful: she stands out for her professionalism and the courtesy with which she greets customers. I highly recommend this place.

03/12/2025: Terrible experience. I came to this bar with some friends a few weeks ago and it was like a nightmare. We sat outside because the place is tiny inside, without even a stove or heater. The waiters (who didn't even speak Italian very well) were incredibly insistent, even about what to order. We ordered three cocktails, a Coke, and three portions of chips. The cocktails cost €8 and were served in a water glass with more ice than anything else, a Coke for the modest sum of €5, and the chips were raw and tasteless. When the waiter came to pay, he first insisted on splitting everything between four of us, even though we'd ordered different items. Then, he added a euro to the bill for both of us. When he noticed I was scanning the QR code on the menu again because something wasn't right, he (who had just charged my last friend) said, "Oh, I added an extra €1 to your bill and the girl's (we were supposed to pay the same things)." The problem wasn't the euro, but the waiter's attempt to "rip us off." It's a shame, because the place is very beautiful, but EVERYTHING absolutely needs to be revisited.

30/09/2025: The indoor area is too small, so bring a warm coat if you plan on stopping by for a drink. The staff is rude and lacks Italian. Good selection of beers.

02/02/2026: I was so disappointed!! I chose to stop at this pastry shop for breakfast because it was very elegant and had a beautiful window display. The cappuccino was beautifully crafted, like ginseng, the apple fritters were unfortunately a few days old but still edible, the cream tortelli, or as they're called here, cream fritters, were inedible. They tasted of stale oil and weren't fresh, not even from the day before, in my opinion. I left them, the very kind girl asked me if I wanted them to take away, and I said no, absolutely not, no one asked me if something was wrong... I just hope they gave the lady who was asking for a mixed tray the fresh ones. She sounded like a regular customer... I was just passing through... too bad, I never write negative reviews, I'll overlook it and move on, but I was really disappointed.

15/01/2026: Cappuccino and brioche €4. Too expensive for the quality. Technically, the brioche was filled, but it only had a drop of pistachio, and the dough wasn't good either. The waitress wiped the table with her hand, without a sponge!! I won't be back.

01/03/2026: The elegance of the past is definitely gone. The place isn't clean at all, the pastry shop is disgusting and outdated to say the least!!! We definitely won't be returning.

24/02/2026: Fantastic people, great company, and remarkable efficiency. It's been a regular for me for decades. Recommended to all downtown patrons.
