04/04/2026: Bad cafe. Menu without prices. We only ordered drinks when we paid everything was rounded up so that there was no change.

14/12/2025: Excellent chocolate, nice and friendly, the girl at the bar was very polite, it's worth trying.

28/04/2026: Found this local gem while walking between La Dársena and Porta Genova. I stumbled upon this spot, which was buzzing with locals enjoying coffee and snacks—always a good sign! Even though I don't speak much Italian, the waiter was incredibly patient and asked, "Vuoi mangiare?" (Do you want to eat?). He took the time to explain the menu to me, and I settled on the sea urchin pasta with a glass of crispy white wine. it was a world-class lunch in a casual street setting. It was a moment!

11/04/2026: If you walk into a pastry shop and ask for a chocolate cream puff and without batting an eyelid they give you a cream puff with Nutella inside (thinking it's the same thing), it means you haven't walked into a pastry shop but into a pastry shop cosplayer.

28/02/2026: The place isn't bad, the problem is that you can't fill the glass with ice to make a 10 euro gin and tonic, drink melted ice, you draw your own conclusions.

17/02/2026: There's a cocktail (hopper) with coffee on the menu, but at 9:00 PM the coffee machine was turned off (the machine lights were on), crushed ice for the finished mojito... so a lemonade with mint leaves arrives. We opt for an Americano... 10 ice cubes for maybe a finger of liquid... All this because after a 15-minute wait, we politely asked for at least a menu? No comment. Too bad, it was the nicest place in Asola.

25/03/2026: Terrible coffee and terrible service! Plus, I asked for a small glass of water, which is usually served with coffee, and he wanted to charge me for a whole bottle of water! A real cheapskate! I'll never go back! I strongly advise against going there! The bathroom was dirty and smelly! It's easy to get 5 stars from friends and family!

04/07/2026: The experience that happened to me yesterday, July 3, 2026, was my brother and I. He was pointing to which empty tub he wanted, when the probably rudest lady in the place arrived. She aggressively approached us and started speaking to us in English, even though I spoke English. It was clearly clear we were locals, but she aggressively told us not to touch anything, speaking in English, just to feel superior. The only thing I did was tell her, "Look, we speak Italian." She replied, "Then don't touch." I just looked at her, without replying; it was already my turn, I took my order, and left without taking anything. Rude. I went to the nearby Brina gelateria, which had much better gelato and quality, and there was even more selection. Reading other reviews about this rude lady, I'm not the first to confirm this. Go to Brina, which is around the corner; it's better and they're polite.

23/06/2026: Rudeness, high prices (two croissants and two juices, no table service) €14.50. A free gift (the young man in the Mini who works inside) almost ran over us for parking sideways in the crosswalk, a rather questionable maneuver. We still wanted to sit down and eat, but I stand by the reviews I'd read previously.

21/07/2026: If I arrive for an aperitif after 7 pm and the place closes at 8 pm, this should be made clear to everyone who enters... especially if the front door (and Google) says open until 10 pm...

13/07/2026: We went for an aperitif, shortly after serving us the waiter comes over and says "we're closing in 10 minutes" it was 7.45pm....

28/06/2026: I've rarely eaten such a good pizza! But it wasn't just the pizza that was outstanding – the fresh salads, the homemade ravioli, and the pasta with shrimp were also excellent. The dishes were delicately seasoned and perfectly finished with fresh parsley. We were particularly surprised by the excellent value for money: For the entire meal, including a bottle of Frati Lugana, espressos, and cover charge, we paid less than 70 euros. The food impressed us so much that we went back the very next day for lunch – this time to try the "Della Casa" pizza. What can I say? I've rarely eaten such a fantastic pizza! Perfectly baked, superbly topped, and simply a culinary delight. 🍕👏 Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

26/04/2026: We ordered two cappuccinos, the milk was probably watered down, it tasted neither like milk nor coffee, not to mention two stale, skinny cappuccinos; I had stomach problems all day. The bill came to €8 for two tasteless cappuccinos and two croissants, which, frankly, I wouldn't even give to my dog. Only later did we understand why, at 11:00 in the morning, the place was terribly empty. I strongly advise against it.

01/02/2026: Excellent service and in a prime location.

30/04/2026: I wanted to pay for a carton of cigarettes with a credit card that wasn't accepted. Two customs officers were present. I was told to pay with cash or debit card. I paid by debit card, but they split the €63 payment into four transactions of €20 + €20 + €20 + €3, and charged me 0.80 cents for each transaction. All transactions were verifiable via receipts and banking apps, without specifying anything beforehand. I've reported the matter to the Guardia di Finanza on Monday, which has already been called. They confirmed the illegality if I can prove what I've stated, which I can do at any time. I'm awaiting a response from the property owner!

24/05/2026: The staff was rude and unwilling to work with the public. We went in this morning for a coffee and a cappuccino. The lady at the counter was huffing and puffing and was truly unwelcoming, almost unpleasant at times. It seemed like she was doing us a favor. Furthermore, they didn't communicate with each other, huffing and bickering among themselves. We politely asked if we could order at the counter and sit outside... leaving aside the "if you really have to" tone they used, once we were seated, they even pointed out that we shouldn't sit because the table was still dirty. Of course, I understand, but if it doesn't bother me as a customer because I know you're probably busy on Sunday and would have cleaned it later, what's the problem? I'm sorry, a croissant isn't worth the rudeness and the way you treat people. If working with the public stresses you out, don't work at the counter.

04/05/2026: A very slick operation at the Rossi. Visited twice to have a drink and watch the world go by. Moderate prices.

04/05/2026: We came here for drinks the view was amazing and the service was exceptional. We had crisps and olives come to our table after every drink ordered. I recommend the Hugo spritz it was delicious.
