26/05/2026: We bought a simple cake, with custard and berries. It was technically a DISASTER; the custard was sandy in the mouth, a clear indication of a temperature error. The basics of pastry making are missing. Price: €54. Never again.

22/05/2026: Excellent bakery for breakfast. The ambiance may be a bit limited, but the quality makes up for it. I haven't tried them, but I've seen fantastic cakes in the window. Average prices.

21/05/2026: Just pure heaven, divine desserts, amazing cappuccino and exceptional service. Worth every penny.

17/05/2026: I feel depressed the cappuccino wasn't hot enough and maritozzo with gelato is too much over rated ,I don't recommend that it's not worth at all !!! But maritozzo with pistachio is good but I felt it was there from at least yesterday it wasn't fresh

11/01/2026: We stopped to eat, the food was excellent, the girl was very unpleasant, we wanted to get up and leave only because she was already sulking and how to respond, she seems forced to stay inside, the staff welcomes you before entering, more important sometimes than the quality of the food

28/04/2026: Found this local gem while walking between La Dársena and Porta Genova. I stumbled upon this spot, which was buzzing with locals enjoying coffee and snacks—always a good sign! Even though I don't speak much Italian, the waiter was incredibly patient and asked, "Vuoi mangiare?" (Do you want to eat?). He took the time to explain the menu to me, and I settled on the sea urchin pasta with a glass of crispy white wine. it was a world-class lunch in a casual street setting. It was a moment!

11/04/2026: If you walk into a pastry shop and ask for a chocolate cream puff and without batting an eyelid they give you a cream puff with Nutella inside (thinking it's the same thing), it means you haven't walked into a pastry shop but into a pastry shop cosplayer.

28/02/2026: The place isn't bad, the problem is that you can't fill the glass with ice to make a 10 euro gin and tonic, drink melted ice, you draw your own conclusions.

17/02/2026: There's a cocktail (hopper) with coffee on the menu, but at 9:00 PM the coffee machine was turned off (the machine lights were on), crushed ice for the finished mojito... so a lemonade with mint leaves arrives. We opt for an Americano... 10 ice cubes for maybe a finger of liquid... All this because after a 15-minute wait, we politely asked for at least a menu? No comment. Too bad, it was the nicest place in Asola.

25/03/2026: Terrible coffee and terrible service! Plus, I asked for a small glass of water, which is usually served with coffee, and he wanted to charge me for a whole bottle of water! A real cheapskate! I'll never go back! I strongly advise against going there! The bathroom was dirty and smelly! It's easy to get 5 stars from friends and family!

06/06/2026: Terrible restaurant in my opinion. Raw meat, dry sandwich with no sauce, rude and very aggressive staff. I wouldn't go back even if they offered it to me.

31/07/2026: I read the latest reviews before writing mine, and I have to say, I started to suspect I'd gone somewhere else, so different was my experience from that of the last few reviewers. I checked again, and it was exactly the same. I don't know if we were lucky, or if they recently changed staff, but the two ladies at the counter on Tuesday evening were courteous and kind, even more so than usual, if I'm being honest. There's no table service, but you can sit outside, and one of the ladies kindly brought us a napkin holder that was missing from our table. Comments on the number of flavors available are highly subjective. I think the twenty or so (approximately, I didn't count) offered are more than enough; I usually go to ice cream shops that have even fewer, and I'm generally wary of places (including restaurants) with endless menus. The gelato was good in my opinion; it had flavor, was nice and creamy, and seemed made with quality ingredients. The cone was also excellent. Tastes are different and opinions vary, but when it comes to service, based on my personal experience, I'd happily give this place a thumbs up.

21/07/2026: If I arrive for an aperitif after 7 pm and the place closes at 8 pm, this should be made clear to everyone who enters... especially if the front door (and Google) says open until 10 pm...

13/07/2026: We went for an aperitif, shortly after serving us the waiter comes over and says "we're closing in 10 minutes" it was 7.45pm....

10/08/2026: €5.20 A LARGE granita with cream, and they fill it halfway (€1.10 cream bonus). Milan or not, I find it ridiculous and, above all, tacky. I recommend the Mister Gel gelateria on Corso San Gottardo, which is cheaper and definitely less tacky.

14/08/2026: Simply perfect! The owner was incredibly friendly and extremely nice. We had a very good meal and at the end we were given a complimentary shot. We hope to come back again soon!

10/08/2026: A 1 hour wait for the food, then a hair in the dish so we sent it back to the kitchen (they didn't want to take it back), they are appalling, a waste of money and time, I advise you to eat at the restaurant right next door with spritzes for €5, they are lovely.

25/05/2026: Artisanal pastry shop on a small stretch of pedestrian street, shaded with tables and about 20 chairs outside. I ordered a cream croissant, a macchiato, and a chocolate cream puff because I saw it being made on the spot ;-). Both were truly delicious: the croissant dough was very good and light, and the cream was also good and held together well, but perhaps I would have added a little more filling to make the experience 5-star. The cream puff was truly delicious; the dark chocolate coating was still warm, while the chocolate inside was fresh and enveloping. I paid €5.40 sitting at a table. A fair price considering the quality of the ingredients. The place is a bit dated, but perhaps its strength lies in its vintage feel. Definitely worth a try for breakfast.

04/05/2026: We came here for drinks the view was amazing and the service was exceptional. We had crisps and olives come to our table after every drink ordered. I recommend the Hugo spritz it was delicious.

04/05/2026: A very slick operation at the Rossi. Visited twice to have a drink and watch the world go by. Moderate prices.
