Great view of the Duomo, the food is good but you'll find better in the city. I recommend getting drinks to go to save a bit on the service charge for sitting down at restaurants in Italy.

Since 1928, Motta has been an institution and a guarantee of high-quality pastry making. This morning, I met Lilia at the checkout counter, who greeted me cheerfully. I purchased a delicious sugared donut, a small bottle of water, and an excellent coffee, elegantly made by Davide. I recommend this magical place for a sweet breakfast.

I had cake and a cappuccino. Unfortunately, there weren’t many milk options available — only regular milk and soy. I was hoping to find almond or coconut milk, but they weren’t offered, so the choices felt quite limited. On the positive side, the staff member was extremely kind, polite, and welcoming, which really made a difference. The place itself is quite small with limited seating, so it may not be ideal for staying long. Overall, it was an average experience. I hope they expand their menu and improve the space in the future.

24/04/2026: Reasonable prices. A latte macchiato for 2,50€? Amazing! The food was very good. But the service was mixed: fast drinks but they forgot our food. After a reminder it was okay. Apparently high frequented by citizens, it was extremely busy. We liked the spot. Italian flair, Italian temper, Italian style food.
23/02/2026: From breakfast to lunch it is truly worth trying
