Entre los tres teníamos la Nizzarda, que es una versión más simple de una Nicoise - genial y ligera, la Lasaña - una pasta delgada y ligera, ensalada Caprese que era perfecto para el gluten - miembro libre de nuestra familia, la pasta boloñesa. 22/09/2025: I think they try to hard with the menu and should stick to simply fresh italian, and I got a sense a lot of their offering is not fresh food. I had the pumpkin pana cotta with a crisp of cabbage to start, it was very nice. My partners tuna starter was fried and very very oily. The venison stew was tasty but needed perhaps some herbs or a vegetable to freshen up the heaviness and the pasta with beet and duck was almost inedible, and probably one of the worst dishes I’ve ever had a restaurant. Chewy duck and plain pasta with no sauce and pre cooked beet diced on top…the server was doing a great job with many tables. It was cold, so we sat inside, which was pleasant enough but felt a bit dated. Our bill was just under 50pp for a starter and main and sparkling water, no dessert or wine. At that price I expect much more from a restaurant.

20/09/2025: So, the appetizer was good and tasty... maybe the second course didn't achieve what was intended... the food was good... but the preparation needs to be reviewed. The dessert didn't arrive.

12/04/2025: Very rude The Caffè Macchiato has a surcharge, which in my opinion is not justified Poor coffee quality They didn't have change for a payment of 2 coffees with 20 euros, and they demanded payment by debit card (which I don't have)

08/07/2025: What a delight , for travellers, this place just makes your day. A family business with a real jovial feel. The family are so funny and attentive to all your needs. We had probably the best cocktail experience in all of Europe. When one of the family found out we were from NZ , he suddenly burst into a Haka. You should make an effort to go here. 10/10

10/10/2025: I had the ragu pasta and vegetable pizza. It was delicious (though a bit pricey). But if you're having trouble deciding, just go with the pizza. Without the salty toppings like salami, prosciutto, and fish, you're left with the basics like the Margherita. The pizza here is great. It's chewy and delicious. The dough is inherently salty, so choose toppings that aren't too salty! For the first time in Italy, I tried the stretchy cheese pizza. It's like asking...

05/10/2025: I’ve never experienced such disrespectful service in a café before. The girl at the counter was unbelievably rude and arrogant when answering even the simplest questions. Her attitude made the whole visit uncomfortable and frustrating. Instead of helping customers, she acted like she was doing us a favor just by talking. Management really needs to take action — this kind of behavior completely ruins the atmosphere. I definitely won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values good service.

21/08/2025: I visited this ice cream shop and had a frozen yogurt with fruit. The cup was very pretty, and the yogurt tasted decent. It's a shame that the fruit (blueberries, melon chunks, etc.) was added by hand, the same hands that had just touched the money, receipts, and counter cloth. I'm sorry, but hygiene is seriously lacking.

11/08/2025: I went to Princi a while back, when they hosted breakfasts with Andrea Galeazzi, a well-known tech reviewer. The place is very nice, large, and spacious, but I've never particularly liked the croissants because they were chewy and not of good quality. The cappuccino was average, nothing special, and the prices were high (but we're in Milan, near Corso Como...). I haven't been back since because Galeazzi's breakfasts were no longer offered, and anyway, I prefer other options, even though I read several positive five-star reviews. I realize it's probably just a matter of taste.

08/07/2025: Bar Aquarius has now become a Sunday habit. I go there every week. The place is large, with an outdoor seating area if the weather's nice. Vegan croissants are always available (and delicious!), and there are also a few newspapers to browse while sipping a coffee. The decor is a bit dated, but that's precisely what gives it a certain charm. It's not your typical trendy bar, and maybe that's also why I like it: it's unpretentious.
