The usual items were good, but the Caesar salad was unfortunately not good.

I don't understand the negative reviews. The place is very well-kept, especially the outdoor seating, which is truly pleasant. The service is very friendly. Prices are in line with a high-end place in the city center.

What a pleasant surprise to be back here after a few years! The place has been renovated and everything has been taken care of, from the customer service and welcome, to the quality of the food, to the details of the decor (the beautiful flowers on the counter!). I'll be back!

I happened upon this historic bar under the Sentierone arcades in lower Bergamo. I had a good coffee; the staff were very friendly, and the restrooms downstairs—accessible by elevator—were very clean. PS: The price of the coffee was absolutely in line with city prices (€1.50 per drink, including three pastries and a small glass of water, all included).

An absolute highlight in Bergamo! Bar Nazionale 1894 combines Italian café tradition with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're looking for an espresso, an aperitivo, or light snacks, everything is of excellent quality and served with care. I'd especially like to commend the incredibly friendly and attentive waiter, who made us feel instantly welcome with his warm and welcoming manner. It's immediately clear that hospitality is truly practiced here. As a nice bonus, he even lived in Stuttgart for a while – which made for a pleasant conversation and added a personal touch. Service, ambiance, and location are all top-notch – a place you'll want to return to. A definite recommendation for anyone who wants to experience authentic Italian flair with warm and friendly service! ☕✨
