20/08/2024: Hospitable and fast in service, there are tables outside, frequented by many families with young children (so not exactly a calm and quiet place!!). Large spaces inside. And outside there is an area for children, where you can let them let off steam in an equipped room. The number of self-checkouts/touchscreens has increased. In the case of drive-thru, I advise you to repeat the order while they deliver it to you.

03/08/2024: I asked for a sea gin and tonic and they served it to me with organic tonic (a more suitable one?) and without any garnish (lime, sprig of rosemary etc...) all for only €12! I'm not even that convinced I drank the gin mare

30/05/2024: The aperitif itself is good, as long as you find the bar open. Yesterday it happened to me again (not the first time in recent months) that the bar was closed at 7pm even though the time indicated otherwise. To change the times on Google and on the front door it takes very little and the customer service can also be seen from these things, not just from the speed of the kitchen in bringing food.

02/08/2024: Apart from the coffee which for 1.30 could have tasted much better rather than burnt. But the barmaid who prepares them is incredibly rude and arrogant, we will never return!

30/07/2024: We stopped for an aperitif, very good. There was no table service and we collected everything at the counter very quickly.

28/07/2024: We booked the room not knowing quite what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised! We mostly booked for the location, which is perfect. Easy access to the train station and the ferry piers. We booked a double room with a lake view and we were not disappointed. The room was bigger than we expected and very clean. The bathroom is on the small side but was very clean as well. At check in we were greeted by Suzy, she was very kind and checked us in efficiently. Suzy helped carry the luggage to the room which is up 2 flights of stairs. The rooms are located directly behind check in and where breakfast is served. We booked a room with breakfast and were very happy with our decision. Even with the central location, the room was very quiet. Many choices including fresh cooked omelettes. There are usually two ladies working breakfast and both were very kind and helpful. If we return to Como we would definitely book this hotel again.

16/04/2024: Young bar frequented by students, where you can enjoy a quick and not too expensive sandwich. Excellent as an aperitif, with which it is always accompanied by various appetizers.

13/03/2024: What a miserable experience! Once we arrive, we sit outside and ask for a menu: there isn't one! The waiter consults with the barmaid and confirms that the menu does not exist! Beautiful! Also because displaying prices is mandatory by law... We decide to order a spritz and a gin and tonic, thinking that they know how to do it in any bar on the globe. The waiter tells us that they have many variations of gin and tonic and spritz..... I, smiling, point out to him that precisely because they have so many variations, a menu is needed! 😂😂😂😂 He tells me that gin and tonic can do it with gin fizz....as if gin fizz were a type of gin.... They bring us gin and tonic and spritzes and four pieces of cold, hardened focaccia. We enjoy our masterpieces, we pay €15, we go away and cross off another place in Sondrio from the list of passable places...... I have the solution for you: remove the words bar or café from the name and sign and insert "...let's try...". You will help to lower the expectations of any customer!
