11/03/2026: When I'm passing through, a stop is a must... the location is large, beautiful, and has an adjacent shop where I bought some very good biscuits. In my opinion, I would add small snacks in the display case to add to drinks during the stop.

28/02/2026: Having just arrived in Milan, we wanted to get out and explore a bit prior to our Olympic event later that evening. Being mid-afternoon, many places were closed until evening, but we found this gem of a gin bar not far from Centrale. We had intended cocktails, but were told only gin and tonic. No worries. We described what we liked to the bartender, and she chose what we would drink. Our beverages arrived with a single large ice cube in a glass, a bottle of selected tonic, and a small decanter of gin - all set so you can decide your preferred ratios. Loved the presentation - wish this could be replicated in the US but people would steal the decanters. First G&T was so good we had another. Would have stayed longer, but didn't want to get drunk and miss the Olympics...another time, perhaps.

07/03/2026: Absolutely great place to have a coffee. We got a nice brew from Denmark and some tips about roasters in Scandinavia from the barista.

06/02/2026: Estratto in Brescia is a guarantee: excellent specialty coffee, excellent food, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. A welcoming atmosphere and great attention to quality. Highly recommended!

27/05/2025: The best cornetto I've had in all of Italy, having traveled from south to north. The pastry is soft and fluffy, and they serve it warm! The coffee is excellent too. 100% recommended.

27/05/2025: We traveled all over Italy eating cornettos, and this café definitely has one of the best we tried. The coffee is also very good. If you're in Milan, it's definitely worth coming here for a delicious meal and excellent service!

17/01/2026: Back for lunch at Sweet Irene after years... it's nice to find the same calm and relaxing atmosphere. I'd forgotten that while you wait, they always bring you a slice of their delicious bread. Coming here is like a little treat. It's best to book; if available, I recommend the upper floor.

15/03/2026: We visited this place, named after the nearby wine bar, in the Pescarenico area on a Friday evening during aperitivo time. The decor is a bit vintage, with beautiful antique mirrors, a large counter, and a large bottle rack. It was small and very crowded at that hour, so we found a seat on the enclosed, heated veranda at the back, which was still comfortable. The service was competent, albeit "verbal," in that the friendly young woman who served us didn't bring us a wine list, but simply listed the wine by the glass (therefore without prices). The quality of the wine served was good, as were the accompanying appetizers, and the bill was reasonable. It seemed a bit like a place for regulars, but we liked it, so I would return and recommend it.

23/02/2026: I visited late in the evening, and the overall experience was pleasant. The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfectly in keeping with pub style, with wooden furnishings and unique details that make it quaint and relaxing, ideal for an evening with friends or a quiet beer. The atmosphere really gives off the feeling of a family-run establishment, with the attention and friendliness that make you feel at ease. There's a wide selection of beers. I had a Kwak Strong Ale, served beautifully and at the right temperature, with its characteristic, scenic presentation on a wooden stand—a detail that always makes an impact. It's beautifully bitter, full-bodied, and aromatic, truly excellent. A small bowl of popcorn is also served, which is appreciated. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is quick without being rushed. Prices are average for the category. The only complaint is the strudel: it's good, but for €6, we expected a slightly larger portion. Recommended if you're looking for a casual yet elegant place to enjoy a good drink and a quiet evening.

12/03/2026: A very welcoming place with a pleasant atmosphere. The bartenders Lara and Giacomo are very kind and warm. They served us delicious cocktails and entertained us with their pleasant presence. We'll definitely be back!

16/02/2026: The aperitif was average in terms of food, wine was €6, and the same goes for spritz. The place was empty on a Friday, so aperitif time was quite unusual. The service was slow despite the bar being completely empty.
