A good business model: great sandwiches to draw you in, uncomfortable seating to get you out. The beer selection is unexceptional, but the client mix suggests they're doing something right. A place for when you need to eat and move on.

This is a historic place. I'd read they make excellent sandwiches, and since I love them, I wanted to try them. My expectations were met! Wide selection, quality ingredients, and my sandwich (Temptation: Valtellina flake, herb cream cheese, and cognac 😉) was delicious—see photo—I'd definitely try them all! Organized service and friendly staff—it's worth it!

I stand by my review of the place with one exception. I tried the aperitifs, and while the beer is certainly good, I can't say the same about the alcoholic cocktails, especially the Daiquiri, which is rather bland. Likewise, the appetizers offered are just barely adequate.

A historic Milanese restaurant in the Crocetta area, renowned for its simple and tasty sandwiches. The menu offers a wide selection, and excellent value. Expect a bit of a line, especially at lunchtime! (But the staff is quite fast and the service is smooth, so the wait isn't long.)

Historic place, very good sandwiches.
I recommend a Praga completo, a Gerry, or even just a good vegetarian toastie.
Among friends, we've noticed that the service has declined over the years.
Wrong orders
Sandwiches that arrive cold
Loading and unloading from the mezzanine while you're in the dining room eating, making noise and chaos—not exactly the best image for a historic place like Quadronno.
