19/08/2025: A small restaurant along the Aurelia road, near the Sestri train station. Tasty food, especially seafood, and excellent minestrone soup.
Moderate prices.

31/01/2026: Everything was Special. Fresh, made to order and tastefull. Service impeccable. Good quality of food. Nice ambiance. I loved when the cook (owner) scream « Calamari Ciak » when its ready. La scarpetta makes it more delicious. I recommand this restaurant when in Monterrosso.❣️❣️

17/03/2026: We visited this restaurant in early January during a vacation in beautiful Corniglia.
It was a wonderful experience; the food was delicious and expertly prepared.
The staff was qualified and very professional.
A wonderful discovery in an area full of wine bars that have distorted the cuisine and flavors of traditional Ligurian cuisine.
Highly recommended.
17/03/2026: Delicious food, great views and charming environment. Seems family owned and they have great seafood options and a variety of local wines. Be aware of the working hours as they close during the afternoon and reopen around 19:00 for dinner. Also reasonable prices. We had a lovely dinner with views of the sunset, highly recommend

22/01/2026: A typical Ligurian cliché: someone walks in, orders (at the counter!) a coffee and two mini creamed sprouts, and spends €5.30, almost a lunch break.
A serious place would have weighed the two pastries instead of arbitrarily charging €2 each.
Quality is irrelevant when you think the customers are chickens waiting to be plucked.

22/01/2026: Found by chance while walking around looking for a place to have breakfast, outdoor tables under the veranda, very kind and helpful staff, excellent products, tasty pastries, good cappuccino, plenty of other traditional savory products, kind and attentive service, the name of the place is Plaza Café.

A fantastic apple and cinnamon tea; there are also several options for coffee, etc.
08/12/2025: All the girls are very kind.
One of the few bars with a real selection of cappuccinos and hot chocolates, including some unusual ones.
It has tables outside.
The focaccia is excellent, and the brioches are very good.
I would, however, serve the hot drinks a little hotter.

28/02/2026: The restaurant looks very shabby from the outside. I'd even say it's shabby. Immediately upon entering, you can feel the cool atmosphere; it's clean and quite nice. I ordered the mussel tasting menu. Delicious. The mussel pasta in a velvety sauce with tomatoes and zucchini ribbons blew my taste buds away. Perfection. And the baked mussels with fish liver in tomato sauce for dessert are a masterpiece. I absolutely recommend it. The service was perfect; the owner asked me and the other guests if I liked it. A brilliant restaurant.

25/12/2025: A unique place. Very small but with a huge variety of homemade focaccias and pizzas.
The focaccias and pizzas are always fresh because they're made throughout the day.
The simple ones are available from early in the morning, and the more elaborate ones come out around lunchtime.
Excellent quality and deliciousness, even for health-conscious eaters.
Excellent coffee and a family atmosphere.

24/12/2025: It's hard to find a more Ligurian bar than this, especially when it comes to service. The supposed owner is perpetually annoyed, unlike a beach club surrounded by Milanese residents in August. To pay, you have to catch his attention; to order, you have to wave your arms as if you were drowning in the open sea. The welcome is zero: authentic Ligurian hospitality.
After getting a few snorts for daring to ask for a slightly more complex cocktail than average, when it finally arrives, you're almost surprised: it's not awful; in fact, it's actually good. The aperitif is decidedly generous, so much so that it almost makes you forget the human experience you've had up until that moment.
20/11/2025: We were scammed; the sign outside said 1.50 euros for a cappuccino, but they charged us 2.30 euros because we were tourists.
