26/01/2026: Excellent restaurant with typical dishes and pleasant surprises.

11/11/2025: I was greeted with a lot of theatrics; I should have followed my instincts and left after reading the menu... The menu and prices aren't displayed outside. I ordered a ravioli dish, seven on a plate for 16 euros, which was served very quickly but was strangely cold and bland. My daughter had the same experience, and to top it off, the pasta dish was too salty. Also, they ask if you want still or sparkling water, but in the end, they serve you tap water (judging by the smell) in a mineral water bottle! In short, money down the drain.

05/03/2026: Pasticceria Dolce Magie is synonymous with superior quality. Fresh ingredients, spectacular mini pastries, cakes that are true works of art, and truly superior breakfast croissants!!! It's rare to find such a perfect balance between aesthetics and flavor. The staff is quick, friendly, and professional. If you're looking for the best in town, there's no doubt: this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

25/10/2025: Personally, my wife and I were satisfied. The atmosphere is a bit retro, like an 80s trattoria, but clean and welcoming. These are the environments that make you feel at ease, and I love them. The food is excellent, in fact, superb! I had the handmade trofie with pesto and potatoes. Truly delicious!!! The owner is also welcoming and kind. The service is fast and efficient. The price is good and in line with the offerings. I'll be back as soon as I can.

18/01/2026: A cozy, slightly hidden little gem of a restaurant with absolutely delicious food. We tried two different pasta dishes, both full of flavor and clearly made with care. For dessert we shared one dish, which was the perfect ending to the meal 🥰 The staff was very nice and accommodating - we were welcomed from the moment we walked in the door, and felt taken care of until we left the restaurant. Very good prices!! This is definitely a place that is highly recommended, and we will definitely be back ☺️

30/12/2025: I ordered spaghetti with clams and it wasn't good at all; the only flavor I could taste was garlic, and even when I asked the owner to change it, he didn't seem to want to listen, even after he saw that I left my plate full.

17/01/2026: We had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant almost five years ago, having discovered it purely by chance on vacation. Unfortunately, living miles away, we weren't able to return, but I still remember the taste of the dishes, especially the raw seafood. A restaurant that makes a difference and, above all, leaves a lasting impression! From the cleanliness to the quality, from the service to the open kitchen, from the location just steps from the sea...wonderful.

30/11/2025: Centrally located, the place has a familiar and comfortable atmosphere inside thanks to the location and the knowledgeable staff. Even though it was late November, the outside area is warm thanks to the "mushrooms," which underscores the care they give to their customers. The place offers a wide selection of wines and cocktails, but it doesn't stop there, offering hot and non-alcoholic drinks. The only downside is that the tables are too close together, which creates confusion and makes it a bit difficult to talk to the people sitting next to you. For what we ordered and spent (two glasses of wine with five mini bruschettas), it's almost obligatory to stop by!!! We'll definitely be back to try new things.

I recommend typical dishes with their traditional names: capone magro, a surprise for non-Genoese who might expect capon, but instead... Cod frisceu, and in this case, you need to either guess or learn a few dialect terms that immerse the tourist in the most authentic Genoese atmosphere. Mandilli (also a must here) with pesto, and everyone knows this one. Breaded and fried anchovies. The rest of the menu is discovered by sitting at the tables of this trattoria with its barrel-vaulted ceilings and unique location, at the end of a narrow alleyway, where the entrance is located, and behind one of the city's most beautiful buildings, Palazzo San Giorgio, in the area of ​​the Old Port, the Bigo, and the Aquarium. The quality, quantity, and price ratio is excellent.

08/01/2026: It was January 3rd, and the place was half empty. But when we asked for a table, we were told it was fully booked (around 1:00 PM), but there was a table behind it. Okay, I don't want to disparage the place at all, because the owner knows his stuff, but come on, you've put us in the depths of the place... So, trofie with squid ink, octopus, and arugula pesto (the trofie would fall apart if you left them too early, and the sauce was a little too bitter, but arugula is fine, you know). Breaded anchovies, we make them better at home. Anyway, €55 for 2 first courses (trofie), 1 second course (anchovies), 2 bottles of water and soda. When we left (at 2:00 PM), the place was still half empty... Hah!!! Weren't they fully booked? No! I won't be back. Thanks anyway for your kindness.
