06/01/2025: This review is based on my personal experience and therefore is absolutely not intended to damage the image of the place.
We booked on The Fork attracted by the good reviews and the interesting menu, where the sea reigns supreme but where there is also no shortage of excellent land alternatives.
The first thing we notice once seated is that the menu prices are much higher than not only those seen on the app where we booked but also those on their website. Since it is a holiday we decide not to worry about it but we believe that it should still be reported to avoid unpleasant surprises for those who choose which restaurant to book in, perhaps also based on how much they will then spend.
Let's come to lunch. We started by ordering a bottle of white wine listed on the menu but another one was brought to us. We were told that it would be paid in the same way but here too we were deprived of the possibility of choosing a little because if we had been told straight away that it wasn't there perhaps we would have opted for something else, instead we found ourselves as forced to accept that.
As for the food, nothing to complain about. Excellent seafood spaghetti, well-treated fresh turbot and crispy, dry frying. The dessert didn't make me so crazy but more for my personal taste and not for the goodness of the product.
Let's get to the sore point, the one that mainly affects my review: the service.
A first course, a second course and a sweet waiting time of 2 hours and 15 minutes, which was really too long. Numerous tables present near ours (there were only 2 of us) were served first despite having arrived well after us. I don't think I've ever waited so long for a dessert and a coffee.
I felt like pointing this out to the owner who partially remedied it by apologizing and applying a small discount to a bill that was still too high.
I don't know whether to recommend it or not, personally, for the reasons explained above, I won't go back.

Excellent restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and well-kept furnishings.
The cuisine is very interesting and the quality is evident: the cod, in particular, I still remember after a month.

Every time we passed by Via Entella we stopped to read the menu and said to ourselves: We have to come and eat here!
One evening by chance it happened and what can I say, we had a great time! The place is very small; since there were no seats available inside, there was a table left on the small veranda. The girl at the switchboard was very thoughtful in warning us that since the table was near the entrance we could suffer from the cold drafts that came in every time someone entered or exited the place. The place was heated and, I must say, we had no problems. The environment was quiet and comfortable.
The cuisine fully exceeded our expectations. Unlike other places, Boccon divino does not offer a fixed menu. The staff suggests that you can safely order an appetizer and a second course because some dishes are considered a single dish.
We really appreciated the gesture of offering customers a taste of panissa while waiting between meals, and also the small plate of dessert-gourmand while waiting for our order.
What can I say, we had a great time! It was worth leaving a tip too. The place may have been small but it was worth "sweating" to get a table :)

05/03/2025: I always go to Da Ö Vittorio when I’m in Recco, and it never disappoints. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal.
This time, I started with their famous focaccia al formaggio, a true specialty of the house. It was absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy on the outside and irresistibly creamy on the inside. For my main course, I had a beautifully presented salmon dish with senso and edible flowers. The flavors were refined and well-balanced, making every bite a pleasure.
To finish, I enjoyed a cup of ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. The owners are incredibly friendly, and the service is always attentive and welcoming.
If you’re in Recco, Da Ö Vittorio is a must-visit!

26/03/2025: Una mención en la Guía Michelin puede no significar lo mismo en Italia que en el resto de Europa, donde la buena cena equivale a una comida fabulosa y bellamente presentada, con ese pequeño toque extra. Nuestra comida no se parecía en nada a las fotos publicadas en el sitio web.
El personal fue grosero y se rió de nosotros a la cara cuando comentamos sobre la comida (al ser preguntado si nos gustó el plato). Por lo general, el personal decía “siento escuchar eso” u ofrecer algún tipo de retroalimentación, pero nos encontramos con un silencio total. Los platos se quitaron y el camarero entró en la cocina y habló con el chef, ambos luego miraron nuestras opiniones y nos miraron. Como solo había una ventana de vidrio entre nosotros, teníamos vistas completas de lo que pasaba en la cocina.
Nos ofrecieron un bouche divertido, que era un triste - con menos aspecto - que - pastel de pescado tibio. Vino sin salsa, huevas, especias, hierbas o verduras. Muy claro por decir lo menos. No es un banquete para ojos ni paladar. ¿Por qué molestarse? Teniendo en cuenta que una torta de pescado se ha puesto a través de un procesador de alimentos y se ha convertido en un picadillo suave antes de ser frito, es increíble encontrar DOS huesos grandes en una torta diminuta. Debe haber sido imposible perderse los huesos grandes (todos hemos hecho pasteles de pescado nosotros mismos para que sepamos de lo que estamos hablando) , pero el chef que hizo los pasteles lo hizo. Señalamos los huesos al camarero, que sonrió con superioridad y dijo “pero señora, es pescado!” ¡Atroz actitud!
El entrante era bueno (capitán magro) y muy bien presentado. Uno de los invitados no tenía mucha hambre y solo pidió un plato de pasta, el resto de nosotros pedimos varios platos. A pesar de eso, ella consiguió su comida primero de todos nosotros y tuvo que soportar caras agrias toda la noche porque no quería pedir más platos.
El plato fuerte era el atún rosa. Estaba cortado como un filete de pollo y tenía una forma desigual, lo que hace que sea más difícil de cocinar. El único compañero era un pequeño tazón del tamaño de un dedal de cebolla roja confitada y nada más, ni siquiera una ramita de verduras o hierbas. Mi atún estaba demasiado cocido, con los bordes ligeramente quemados y duros, y el atún no era rosa y jugoso, como el atún normalmente se sirve. Un atún demasiado cocido es muy seco y una experiencia desagradable. Cuando le dije al camarero que estaba demasiado cocido, simplemente quitó el plato y entró en la cocina y se reportó al chef. Una vez más, sin comentarios, solo el camarero y el chef me miraron fijamente por la audacia de decir lo que pensaba después de que me preguntaran qué pensaba del plato.
Podría ser algo cultural: los italianos dicen tener la mejor comida del mundo, y todos los chefs en la cocina y los camareros eran hombres. Realmente entendimos lo que estaban diciendo: cuatro mujeres de mediana edad no deberían ser opinadas sobre cosas que no entienden. Una actitud horrible. Permítanme señalar: cuatro mujeres de mediana edad que pagaban sus comidas y tenían grandes esperanzas de una excelente comida.
Al salir le mencionamos al gerente que no estábamos contentos con la comida ni el trato, pero realmente no podía haber importado menos. Quizás tenga la suerte de tener un negocio exitoso y los clientes vienen a pesar de todo. Si usted es como nosotros -extranjeros- (¡y las mujeres en eso! ) , puede ser olfateado y tratado con ridículo e irrespeto. Probablemente habíamos establecido nuestras expectativas demasiado altas y la comida no cumplió. Si el trato hubiera sido mejor podríamos habernos ido con espíritus más altos, como resultó, desalentaríamos fuertemente a los extranjeros a ir allí. Y NO, no era una cosa de idiomas, el camarero hablaba bien inglés.

23/03/2025: Abbiamo preso bruschetta con pomodori secchi e acciughe , pasta ripiena di carciofi con pomodori e gamberi (molto salata) , polpo alla piastra e seppia coi piselli che sembrava una zuppa di piselli in brodo con pezzi di seppia , totalmente insapore, 1 bottiglia di prosecco da 20 euro che colpevolmente non abbiamo rifiutato in quanto imbevibile tanto che abbiamo.preso 1 calice di montepulciano per pulirci la bocca , totale 91 euro in 2 , la ciliegina è stata notare che le comande e i piatti in uscita passavano da una finestrella posizionata in sala con 2 ante in legno che venivano aperte e chiuse in continuazione dal personale , la cosa sconvolgente è che proprio sotto la finestrella è posizionato.un tavolo su cui viene disposta della focaccia che viene tagliata dal personale e messa a mani nude ( dopo avere toccato menù , piatti, posate , sistemato i capelli ecc ecc) in sacchetti di carta e serviti ai tavoli al posto del pane, a parte questo ogni volta che si apre e chiude la finestrella e passa di tutto in entrata ed in uscita, non vi viene in mente che sulla focaccia può cadere di tutto ? Mai vista una cosa simile. Fortunatamente non torneremo mai più.
