06/01/2025: This review is based on my personal experience and therefore is absolutely not intended to damage the image of the place. We booked on The Fork attracted by the good reviews and the interesting menu, where the sea reigns supreme but where there is also no shortage of excellent land alternatives. The first thing we notice once seated is that the menu prices are much higher than not only those seen on the app where we booked but also those on their website. Since it is a holiday we decide not to worry about it but we believe that it should still be reported to avoid unpleasant surprises for those who choose which restaurant to book in, perhaps also based on how much they will then spend. Let's come to lunch. We started by ordering a bottle of white wine listed on the menu but another one was brought to us. We were told that it would be paid in the same way but here too we were deprived of the possibility of choosing a little because if we had been told straight away that it wasn't there perhaps we would have opted for something else, instead we found ourselves as forced to accept that. As for the food, nothing to complain about. Excellent seafood spaghetti, well-treated fresh turbot and crispy, dry frying. The dessert didn't make me so crazy but more for my personal taste and not for the goodness of the product. Let's get to the sore point, the one that mainly affects my review: the service. A first course, a second course and a sweet waiting time of 2 hours and 15 minutes, which was really too long. Numerous tables present near ours (there were only 2 of us) were served first despite having arrived well after us. I don't think I've ever waited so long for a dessert and a coffee. I felt like pointing this out to the owner who partially remedied it by apologizing and applying a small discount to a bill that was still too high. I don't know whether to recommend it or not, personally, for the reasons explained above, I won't go back.

05/01/2025: Locale carino, con pochi coperti a conduzione famigliare. Servizio attento e caloroso, il cibo non è male. Perché non do il massimo? Diciamo che per ogni piatto ci sono almeno 2-3€ di troppo, ma facciamo finta che sia il dazio da pagare per pranzare in pieno centro, il vero problema che va bene che ci siano degli extra menu e piatti del giorno (decisamente buoni aggiungerei) ma sarebbe auspicabile che un avventore sappia cosa va a pagare.

26/01/2025: Se leggendo il menù di un ristorante già pensi che vorrai tornarci per provare a mangiare tutto quello che non hai potuto scegliere la prima volta, sei già sulla buona strada. Se poi dopo aver mangiato quello che hai scelto sei sicuro di tornare ancora, allora sei da Fiorella a Nicola di Ortonovo. 5 stelle di recensione veramente meritate.....

23/01/2025: Sono tornata ieri sera a cena in questo ristorante che ricordavo buono e devo dire che mi sono trovata benissimo in tutto. Bella la presentazione dei piatti, l' abbinamento del vino consigliato dal titolare perfetto. Il dolce delizioso. Un ristorante ottimo.

20/01/2025: Pranzo in questo piccolo e accogliente ristorante dove abbiamo trovato una cucina di alto livello ed un servizio da 10 e lode. I 2 camerieri sono ultra professionali e gentili, difficile trovare di meglio. La cucina è anch'essa di alto livello, i prezzi non sono dei più economici ma se si considera la qualità dei piatti e del servizio non c'è nulla di anomalo.

Piatti curati ed autentici...eravamo stati qui già un anno fa e non vedevamo l'ora di tornare ( il ricordo e il gusto del loro filetto mi è rimasto impresso). Un anno dopo tutto confermato! Ottimo il servizio, i piatti particolari, vasta scelta e quelli già conosciuti, sempre una riscoperta e una certezza!

24/01/2025: Il locale è carino e ben arredato ed è sito sulla passeggiata a mare di Chiavari ma il cibo è decisamente deludente. Poca scelta nel menù e qualità mediocre. Tavolo con più persone per cui parlo per quello che ho mangiato io: una insalata di calamari decisamente scadente con patate disfate al suo interno e filetti di cernia (molto asciutta perchè evidentemente riscaldata al momento) su un letto di verdura in foglia saltata in padella. Ridottissima la scelta di dolci per cui ho scelto i loro cantucci (duri come il muro) con lo sciacchettrà. A me personalmente non è proprio piaciuto....... Non commento la cifra spesa perchè essendo in compagnia si beve di più ma per quel che mi riguarda è decisamente caro. Ah dimenticavo.... ho chiesto una birra e mi è stato detto che hanno solo la birra artigianale: la birra artigianale non piace a tutti! Costa tanto tenere una birra qualunque ma non artigianale???

Il servizio è stato impeccabile, il personale gentile e competente e il cibo davvero buono: una cucina ligure rivisitata con originalità. In particolare mi hanno colpita positivamente i dolci (il gelato di Edo!) e il polpo croccante. Era una cena di lavoro e il mio ospite era altrettanto entusiasta. Unico piccolo neo il locale un po' piccolo, ma nel centro storico di Genova è normale. Tornerò sicuramente.
