13/08/2026: A fantastic spot in San Remo! Marzio Bistrot is located in a charming, typical Italian alleyway and offers exquisite cuisine. The pasta carbonara is delicious; I thoroughly enjoyed it. The generous portion left room for dessert, and the tiramisu was also delicious. The service was very pleasant, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 19/05/2026: While staying in Ventimiglia for a few days, I was fortunate to discover this restaurant just a short walk from where I was staying. The atmosphere was quaint and beautifully decorated, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. I especially appreciated the opportunity to practice my Italian throughout the evening. I started with a glass of local Rossese, a lighter-bodied Ligurian red with an elegant character somewhat reminiscent of Pinot Noir. For my antipasto, I chose the farinata with Gorgonzola, which was rich, savory, and wonderfully comforting. For dinner, I decided to try the coniglio disossato in casseruola alla ligure—boneless rabbit prepared with olives, pine nuts, and white wine. It was absolutely delicious: tender, delicate, and surprisingly approachable for anyone trying rabbit for the first time. I paired it with the optional red cabbage salad, which complemented the meal beautifully. Everything from the presentation to the ambiance felt thoughtful and authentic. An excellent dining experience from start to finish, and absolutely a place I would return to when back in Ventimiglia. 🇮🇹🍷✨

14/06/2026: Quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, very good food. We had a really good mixed seafood aperitif 😊 and shared a fish fry, also very well prepared, dry and tasty, with local white wine. We will definitely be back. Reservations are recommended.

06/06/2026: The recommended white wine was good. The focaccia was moist and good. The Seabream fresh pasta was light and decent. The owner and staff were friendly, which made me feel good.

04/06/2026: We traveled from Milan specifically to try this historic and renowned restaurant, drawn in by the many Instagram reels showing inviting dishes. Unfortunately, the experience didn't entirely meet our expectations, especially regarding the quantity/price ratio. What didn't work was the Recco focaccia. From the videos, it looked like a generous and rich portion; in reality, for €10, we were served three decidedly thin and "poor" pieces, one even burned! For the first courses, we ordered pasta with country-style pesto. The flavor was good and savory, but the presentation and richness of the ingredients left much to be desired; there was only one green bean and the potatoes were almost invisible. It's unfortunate to say that service to "non-regulars" is so lacking for such a famous establishment, but we had the distinct feeling that there's a disparity in treatment (both in portions and attention) between regulars/acquaintances and those, like us, who are out of town and are seen as "passing tourists." What worked The five fried anchovies were very good, fresh, and a fair portion for the price. Overall, the food is tasty, but for the prices charged, the presentation and the generous portions leave something to be desired. It's a shame, but given the trip and the small portions, we're unlikely to return.

17/08/2026: A fresh, modern atmosphere brimming with positive energy! This pub is a true gem for those seeking a youthful atmosphere where they can spend a wonderful evening in good company. What makes the difference is the management: the owners, Serena and Elton, are very young, incredibly helpful, and exude a contagious passion. They always welcome you with a smile and ensure every detail of your evening runs smoothly. The entire staff perfectly reflects this spirit: a team of young people, always polite, attentive, and truly helpful. Furthermore, the environment is impeccably clean and well-kept, a significant detail for an evening venue with music. The cocktails are definitely worth mentioning, as they are truly excellent: you immediately notice the great care taken in their preparation, choice of ingredients, and presentation. The fantastic thing is the customer-centric approach: if you're unsure of what to order, the staff and owners are always ready to patiently guide you, recommending the perfect drink based on your tastes. If you're looking for a dynamic place with excellent hospitality, polite staff, and a homely feel, this is the perfect place!! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back! Thanks guys!! Best of luck for the future! :)
