22/02/2026: Extremely unfriendly service, with staff who were practically impossible to reach. For our aperitif, we only received a few chips, and they were out of olives, which we wanted to order separately. When we had to go inside to pay because no one had responded to us, they were throwing all the croissants from the display into the trash… Would not recommend.

26/01/2026: For a Monday morning, I found the staff smiling and making me coffee. It was frothy, just the way I wanted it, and the snowflake was very fresh. And I saw several truly inviting breakfast dishes being served.

24/06/2025: Nice place with super easy access, I liked the service and the sweets were tasty (of course the marijuana ones don't give that mega effect, but they're ok) I recommend it!

30/05/2025: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME , THEY DON'T SELL WEED ANYMORE ! And i found an old women working there she can barely speak English ,not helpful at all !

08/03/2026: It's been my go-to gelato shop for years. What sets it apart and makes it unique is its artisanal gelato: it's received national recognition and awards. Both inside and outside have comfortable tables where you can eat and enjoy the bar's products. It's the perfect place for a morning coffee or, in general, for any coffee break. The shop also offers a tobacconist. The street outside the gelato shop is full of free parking.

29/01/2026: I often go to Pinguino Goloso since it is close to home. Convenient for the tobacco service, I often take ice creams and milkshakes in the summer and snacks in the winter. They are not always friendly.

08/03/2026: The girls at the cash register were so quick and kind they cleared a very long line in just a few moments. The ice cream was truly excellent. Well done, keep it up!

20/02/2026: The rudeness of some is disconcerting. At least say hello before serving someone; if you have to do someone a favor, change jobs. Others are wonderful.

08/07/2025: La comida es insípida y sosa para los precios que se cobran. La pasta está demasiado salada para disimularlo y los productos cárnicos son gomosos. Sin embargo, lo que me motivó a tomarme el esfuerzo de crear una cuenta para escribir esta reseña fue la forma tan grosera en que nos apresuraron y trataron al final de la comida. Nos pidieron que enumeráramos lo que habíamos pedido y nos molestó que no diésemos una respuesta inmediata. Aunque hay varios camareros, en realidad interactuamos con cuatro personas diferentes que tomaban nuestros pedidos de comida y bebida. No parece que tengan una estructura lógica sobre cómo atienden a los clientes o dividen responsabilidades y mesas. Se convierte en un caos la tarea de conseguir que los clientes entren y salgan lo más rápido posible y hay mucha incompetencia por todos lados.

08/07/2025: ¡Una verdadera experiencia si estás en Roma! Mimmo te trata como a una familia. La comida es excelente. El ambiente es increíble. La decoración es perfecta. Las mesas estaban alineadas afuera y la gente seguía entrando. Fue un final increíble para nuestras vacaciones.

22/01/2026: There seems to be a separate tourist rate. Usually, an espresso costs 1.20-1.50 euros at other places, but here, I paid 5.50 euros for a takeout espresso and an Americano. Don't go.

04/07/2025: Hello everyone, my name is Antonietta, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Puglia. I've been following Mordimi for a couple of months and last night I finally had the chance to meet the place in person, although small, it is very welcoming and cared for in detail, you are served by friendly and professional people who know how to make you feel good and at the same time serve you with truly quality products. But above all I had the chance to meet Silvia the owner, a person who is nothing short of wonderful, she manages to create a familiar and pleasant atmosphere, where you immediately feel at ease. Thank you for dedicating your time to us and thank you for the advice you gave me. (If you want to spend a nice evening, this is the right place).

22/10/2025: We had made reservations for 8:30 PM in the afternoon. At 8:20 PM, we were greeted by a very kind young lady who asked if we had made reservations. I said yes. She checked the reservations and said she couldn't find one, but it wasn't a problem because there were free tables. Meanwhile, she invited us into the dining room, which, in fact, was more than half full. We ordered seafood salad, risotto with cream of scampi, pasta for the child, and we decided on the second course later. We had water and a quart of white wine to drink. After 10 minutes I call the girl who welcomed us and I see her "running" between the tables to bring the dishes. I ask her again for water which arrives immediately afterwards with a very full glass of white wine and I tell her look we had ordered a quartino... the answer is we don't have 1/4 carafes we'll bring it like this.... in the meantime I see them setting up a table next to ours... after about 25 minutes from the order the seafood salad arrives and the pasta that we had asked to be brought out first doesn't even appear... in the meantime another couple arrives at the table we had set up next to them, they sit down and take their order... in the meantime I understand that something in the room is going wrong, 3 people argue heatedly with the person managing the room who gets up and leaves... the thing makes me suspicious... after about 40/45 minutes the pasta for our son finally arrives, we think it's done on purpose to bring out the first courses together with ours "it would have been a beautiful story but nothing" I urge the girl, she is very mortified and apologizing, he tells me that he will go to the kitchen to hurry up the exit. In the meantime, at the table next to ours, I see a risotto with scampi cream arriving and I think "now it will arrive for us too" but it won't be like that" in the end the risotto arrived at 10.15pm, almost 2 hours after ordering, we were still hungry but given the delay and the poor management of the kitchen we decide to leave and go eat something elsewhere. Reading other reviews, I note that the problem is very frequent so probably there is no desire to improve.

20/03/2026: Scandalous!!! The aperitif arrives in a glass dirty with... on the rim, with no cutlery to cut and eat, so everything is done by hand, no tissues to wipe your hands??? Unknown to them... Don't sit here, it's a waste of money, the service is terrible and sloppy.

19/03/2026: This place was a terrible disappointment. If you want to pay grossly inflated prices for substandard diner food, this is the spot for it. Worst value / quality meal we had in Rome. The two meals were very average, and clearly microwaved (but not enough to make them hot, alas). One was 15 Euros and the other 13, and my tiny glass of orange juice (not fresh squeezed) was 6 Euros - the smallest juice for that price we've had anywhere else in Italy. So, for a quite forgettable, insipid pair of meals and a couple of small beverages, the bill came to 39 Euros - over 60 dollars Australian. I've had magnificent multi-course dinners for that price elsewhere. Quite the shame. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone who wants decent food at a decent price. And, of course, the proprietor also begged us to pay her in cash when we settled up instead of card. My goodness. Even for a self-described 'luncheonette', this was pretty horrible. A bad experience all round.

28/02/2026: They charge a 10% service fee, and the toilets are收费 (paid). Even though we were regular customers, they charged us.

27/02/2026: Overpriced , under-delivered. Riding on the location and think they can rip you off . Colloseum, trevi and vatacan all reasonble priced. here charged 18euro for 2 coffee . Go to the one next door
