30/03/2025: What do we want to talk about .... they've been making maritozzi with cream all their life, and they've been making it in a sublime way all their life, with simplicity and without too much stagecraft ... the protagonist is the maritozzo .. and it's Oscar-worthy

30/03/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Good husbands, but service to be reviewed Maritozzaro is certainly a point of reference in Rome for lovers of Maritozzaro. The quality of the product is excellent: soft, well-filled and tasty, a real pleasure for the palate. The offer of croissants and other desserts is also interesting. However, the place is very small and often crowded, which makes the experience a bit chaotic. The staff, probably due to the intense pace, are not always friendly and can appear tired and hasty, which affects the general atmosphere. If you are willing to put up with a bit of a wait and a service that is not always impeccable, it is worth trying it for the goodness of the Maritozzi. But if you are looking for a more relaxed and welcoming experience, perhaps it is better to evaluate alternatives.

11/03/2025: My favorite restaurant in Rome! Everything I tried on the menu was great. Atmosphere was very nice and service was exceptional. No need to make reservations so you can just come whenever you’re hungry.

07/03/2025: Our evening canteen during our stay in Rome! Very friendly staff, good atmosphere. Pizza, spaghetti, pasta, brushettas, everything is good! We enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend.

10/12/2024: siamo stati in questo locale per ben due volte e in entrambi i casi di sabato sera, quindi con la musica da vivo ad accompagnare le nostre chiacchiere; tutto è stato perfetto, dall'atmosfera alla musica al cibo. Con noi c'era anche una persona vegana che è stata contentissima delle opzioni a sua disposizione e dalla bontà dei piatti. Posto piacevolissimo sia in coppia sia con amici anche se consiglio la saletta in cima alle scale se andate in più di 4-5 persone

25/03/2025: This was a short walk from our hotel and we relied on google reviews. Thanks to Chris and the staff for being SO hospitalble! There were Americans, French, Italians—real international group all delighted. Cacio e pepe was insanely good! Off menu specials worth a try. Outside seating with a fun Roman cat to make it feel like home!

23/03/2025: Mandatory (dry) bread with olive oil and balsamico for 2€/person. Seafood is thawed from frozen during off-season, which is stated on the back of the menu - good with transparency. We chose ragu, and it is tasted okay, nothing special compared to other places. We felt the service was a bit rushed on getting plates away, while the dishes we got for the bread were not clean, so I had to rub the worst off both plates with the napkin.

09/03/2025: I got the ice cream there, there's a long queue but it's worth it because it's really excellent and in any case it's easy to navigate because there's good organization inside. The place is small and you can't sit down and the choice isn't huge, but the flavors are particular and fun to try.

02/03/2025: Avevamo avuto esperienza negativa al 116 e ieri sera ci siamo caduti nuovamente. Ordinato 2 marinare e 2 funghi, chiedo da quando si mettono tre spicchi d'aglio e non si spezzettano con l'origano ammassato solo da un lato? Quelle ai funghi un ammasso di mozzarella centrale con quattro funghi. Il tutto un impasto pesante e non digeribile.

24/02/2025: Tutto molto buono, staff molto gentile. Io che non posso mangiare nulla di pesce ho avuto un ottima scelta di carne e tutto veramente buonissimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente

31/03/2025: A very bland meal. An example is a carpaccio with a shrimp in the middle, garnished with pickle (forgot) and foie gras, the shrimp has no taste at all, only texture. In comparison, I had a very similar dish of shrimp carpaccio wrapped with foie gras in Milan. The shrimp was made from langoustine, which was sweet and fresh in one bite. The foie gras was also large in size, adding a lot of rich flavor.

26/03/2025: The Atmosphere is very special, it was my first time in a Michelin restaurant. We took 5 dishes of course most of them were super tasty. The service was great, for me I missed the personal connection.its was very formal. The dishes looked amazing and were explanations for everything . I didn't like that they added things with money without updating us . I don't have a problem paying but I would like to know in advance. They were super nice and cute and made for a nice surprise for my birthday. Definitely recommend !
