20/04/2025: An Irish pub in Rome, I vote yes,🤪🤪🤪

18/04/2025: The first Irish pub in Rome and Italy. Relaxing and authentic atmosphere. It is also the only one that features many Irish craft beers in addition to the classic Guinness and Smithwicks. In fact, you can find craft beers from breweries such as O'hara, Porter House and Galway Bay Ale. If you are a whiskey enthusiast, it has everything there, absolutely everyone! Even local and small production ones..

03/06/2025: It was the first time I went there but I think that even though it's a bit far from home I'll go back for many reasons... everything was great

02/06/2025: Bad bad! We started with a series of cold appetizers that all had the same flavor: impossible to distinguish the cuttlefish from the octopus from the squid, I only considered the shrimp with parmesan flakes acceptable (which in fact were finished immediately!). Raw with very poor quality fish, the oysters, probably opened by a butcher, had dried up due to the bad opening and the swordfish arrived even half-frozen. We also received some cuttlefish with chickpeas, drowned in a kind of water (probably that of the chickpea can), some terrible fish balls and a fried food with the consistency of rubber, all to make up an appetizer that had already filled us up, but without satisfying us in terms of flavor. The first courses were perhaps even worse! We had paccheri with, perhaps, red shrimp, and I specify perhaps because the seafood flavor was absolutely not there, some decent but not outstanding fish ravioli, and the worst scampi cream risotto I have ever eaten in my life, which probably hadn't even seen the scampi with a telescope. Stunned by all this abominable food, I couldn't enjoy the second course, of which I only had the courage to taste the fish in a potato crust: decent, but badly served (the potatoes, instead of forming a crust, were completely detached from the fish). I then tried to make up for it with dessert, but it was like trying to put out a fire with gasoline! I ate a sort of tiramisu (God forgive me for having associated the term tiramisu with that abomination!) with pistachio, with half a ladyfinger not soaked and a pistachio cream that was faker than the fluorescent green one you find inside commercial croissants. Given that it has clearly eliminated quality by focusing everything on quantity, but I would like to point out that I know dozens of Asian restaurants with an "all you can eat" formula where the quality is dozens of times better and where you pay even less (since in the end they took 40 euros per person from us for a lunch that, the icing on the cake, made four fifths of my family sick to their stomachs). I have to give one star, and I'm sorry because the waiter and owner Leonardo was exquisitely nice, but that alone is not enough to lift a kitchen well below the dilapidation.

19/05/2025: What a gem! This restaurant is delicious. The seafood appetizer was fresh and so good. The mussels were tender, the fried baby octopus was delicious, the shrimp was an incredible bite of food. The star of the show however was their Orechiette L’Isola d’Oro (€20). It was a beautiful truffle cream sauce with shrimp and squash blossoms coating perfectly cooked orechiette. Worth. Every. Dollar. The portion was also huge, and we struggled to finish one plate between two people. It has been our favorite meal so far. Truly delicious and I cannot recommend it enough.

15/05/2025: I had an incredible dining experience at L'Isola d'Oro in Rome. I ennjoyed the seafood platter, the seafood rice and the pasta with shimps and truffles, was exceptional -rich, aromatic and beautiful presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend L'Isola d'Oro for anyone looking to indulge in high-quality seafood and authentic Italian flavors. A truly memorable culinary experience!

17/05/2025: I went there yesterday for the first time, a dinner with some friends, I have to say everything was perfect, the service was impeccable, the dishes were excellent, I really recommend it.

17/05/2025: They have a lot of special cappuccinos in lovely flavours like caramel and white chocolate, and excellent pastries. Service is fast and friendly. We went twice during our trip, hope to come again soon!

19/05/2025: I really had a great time. The dishes were spectacular, very good and prepared in an excellent way. I will definitely come again with friends and family. The meat, especially the FIORENTINA, was fantastic. The staff was very kind and polite. I had the pleasure of meeting the CHEF, one of the best people there is, in addition to the dishes he cooks. A very good guy. He will certainly go a long way in the kitchen. I hope to always find the same quality in the food and environment. You really feel at home. Everything is fantastic!!!

14/05/2025: Food was good but they will charge you for nothing. Be prepared to pay 4 euros for a napkin or 2 euros for a tablecloth. Only way to put it.

18/05/2025: We had a very good carbonara, really tasty and well prepared. However, the service at the end left something to be desired. After asking for the bill, we waited about 15 minutes. When we asked for the bill again, the waiter came back very rudely, already with the card machine in his hands. I just held up my cell phone to pay, and he left without thanking me, nor did he offer me a copy of my card. This type of attitude ends up compromising the good experience we had with the food.

20/05/2025: Food was great. Had the Papo's burger and fries. Fries came with ketchup, BBQ sauce and mayo. Loved the selection. Burger tasted great. With the buns of Italy, it has already one-upped anything in the US. The piece of burger itself was juicy, and the sauces, simple but complimentary of the burger. They also open till late even on a Tuesday. If you need a break from pizza and pasta, you know where to go.

05/05/2025: Perfect place to have a delicious cappuccino in the morning or for an aperitif with great antipasti or to eat! We are under the trees, in the shade and the service is top notch. Thank you again for your sympathy. The 9 French friends of Joseph

17/04/2025: A very nice place with polite and presentable staff. With good food and large portions, keep this in mind so you don't explode, then afterwards it's difficult not to eat it 🤣

26/05/2025: Really very good products and always fresh considering the number of people who go, fast service and reasonable prices, we spent 18 euros for two and we took two sandwiches, one with porchetta, chicory and dried tomatoes and one with sausage, burrata and truffle, then half a litre of Romanella, water and Coca Cola

08/05/2025: Siamo al limite di Roma, dove la Cassia ti porta fuori, ma sei ancora nel pieno del traffico della capitale. Trovarlo non è stato facile, ma segnalato da amici ci siamo riusciti e alla fine con soddisfazione. Sapevamo di poter trovare piatti tipici e così abbiamo ordinato : carbonara (voto 10), trippa alla romana (voto 10, ci fosse stata avremmo dato anche 11) e poi non poteva mancare il carciofo alla giudia (voto 9). Sempre dietro consiglio abbiamo preso il vino della casa , di provenienza Marche, veramente un ottimo accompagnatore per tutte le portate. Davvero piacevole esperienza e molto consigliato

13/04/2025: Fairytale atmosphere: the lit fireplace, the windows with decorated glass, the stone walls... everything brings to mind the medieval era and makes you feel like you are in another era. But as soon as we move on to the cuisine, the journey moves into the truest Roman tradition: Tonnarelli with cheese and pepper, oxtail, Roman tripe, Jewish artichokes... A triumph of authentic flavors. Everything excellent. And for those who love to accompany good food with a glass of wine, you will certainly not be disappointed here.
