12/08/2024: Unfortunately a completely negative experience. There is a good choice of beers on tap although not served cold. For the rest, the worst fish and chips I've ever eaten in Rome. Leaving aside the not top-notch quality, the main problem was the cooking, burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Superficiality and little attention on the part of the chef, Miguel, who haughtily repeated several times that the dish was perfect for him, even in the face of evidence. Definitely a place to avoid. Sin.

11/08/2024: A 24 hour bar with croissants of this quality is not to be taken for granted! Nicely full counter, with croissants, bombs, swivels, bull's eyes and much more Very good and abundant fillings as you can also see from the photo! But what makes the bombs really good is the softness!! Really soft and tasty!! Highly recommended!

16/08/2024: We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the cafe. Service was good, food and atmosphere were excellent. Memorable meal in a very nice setting within a nice, upscale part of Rome. Best buffalo mozzarella salad we had in Rome and the burger was the best ever. Perfection!

17/08/2024: I go in, it wasn't to order a cold cappuccino for €1.70 at the Ostia station The boy takes and puts me from the pot of the first coffees, a mess of coffee full of grounds.. then he turns and with a half empty bottle that was outside the fridge he gives me the remaining dripping not even filling the whole glass (among other than what is used for bitters) I didn't even drink it.. it was full full of grounds.. I will NEVER go back there AGAIN

01/08/2024: L’altra sera ho mangiato molto bene in questo ristorante che ha una posizione privilegiata sotto al castello di santa severa. Io e i miei amici abbiamo preso fettuccine ai frutti di mare, spaghetti al ragù di polpo e spaghetti con vongole veraci e lupini. Tutto cucinato a regola (cottura, condimento e impiattamento). Poi abbiamo preso una frittura di calamari e gamberi da dividere ed infine i dolci. Per i dolci c’è veramente l’imbarazzo della scelta. Io ho optato per il crème caramel, gli altri per una zuppa inglese e per un invitante babà immerso in crema al mascarpone con fragole e scaglie di cioccolato. I prezzi sono un po’ alti ma la cucina, il servizio e la location meritano.

20/08/2024: We didn’t get what we ordered, not very comprehensive staff. Some of the food was ok and the rest was very bad. They did not charge everything though as we explained the situation to the staff.

04/07/2024: This cafe was up the street from our accommodation in Rome, which we ended up visiting a minimum of 3 times a day. Food & coffee were excellent. Service was excellent after the second visit we ordered at the counter, had waiter service & paid as we left. When we come back to Rome we will always visit Mikey Bar. Staff were great.

16/06/2024: Un applauso all'organizzazione perfetta e attenta ai dettagli per una serata speciale. Mio figlio festeggiava i suoi 18 anni con una ventina di amici ed è stato tutto perfetto! La gentilezza del personale e la qualità di tutto quanto servito su in terrazza è stato molto apprezzato da tutti i ragazzi. Grazie a tutto lo staff ed in particolare a Sofia che coordina tutto in maniera splendida! Bravissimi, avanti così e grazie ancora 😊😊😊

16/08/2024: We discovered this bar thanks to the positive reviews on Google. We went there during our holiday. Delicious ice cream and granitas. We are from Syracuse and we can tell you that the ice cream and granitas are as good as ours. The girls were friendly and the place was very clean. I forgot the night before we had an aperitif, even the delicious savory rustic pieces

04/08/2024: We had to wait for an appointment so my partner and I decided to stop at this bar. At least from the looks of it it is well kept, the bars in the surrounding area are not as well kept as this one which seems renovated and with particular attention to the style of the place, much more welcoming. Unfortunately the sore points... Prices: VERY HIGH we ask for an Aperol soda and a Campari soda, the woman at the checkout, confused, asks the counter clerk for the order and the counter clerk gets confused and asks "do you want two spritzes?". From there I understood that he hadn't understood what we wanted to consume.... The cashier asks the cashier for the price... €10. I see the prices that are near the cash register and at this point instead of taking the Campari soda I ask for a ceres (€4 from the price list) the cashier asks the cashier the price and exclaims "€5!" I... Perplexed, I ask: "but as it says €4 here, why are you putting it at 5?" The counter clerk says she thought we wanted to have an aperitif... But I didn't ask for an aperitif, we only had to wait 10 minutes, no big deal... We didn't want to have an aperitif. They tell us to wait at the table and so we do. Once the order arrived I immediately understood that something was wrong... The beer glass was not rinsed with water, dirty to boot... The Aperol soda was not Aperol soda... I would like to say that what is in the bottle is Aperol soda, for example, must be brought to the table and opened before the customer's eyes. I'm sure it wasn't aperol soda... Having said that, I recommend much more attention and preparation regarding prices and above all the preparation of the stallholders. Needless to say, I absolutely don't recommend it.

27/08/2024: Rejected. Few Sicilian desserts, not very inviting in appearance. I took a cannoli, quite good, but instead of chopped pistachios there was a sort of brownish breadcrumbs... it gives the idea that it's also not very clean. Cost: 3.50, not even that cheap... I was served by an Indian who didn't even know cassata and didn't give me a receipt. He put the cannoli in a used bag, on which there were many pen notes. I don't recommend it.

17/07/2024: We celebrated our graduation at the Salotto Morgagni with the "celebrate with us" package (perfect aperitif/lunch, good and also plentiful) Polite, kind and helpful staff; Beautiful location (elegant but informal café, with very comfortable and nice sofas and tables), the ideal place for a quick lunch or to celebrate a post-graduation. The new manager of the place was really kind in granting our requests. I will gladly return!

03/06/2024: It has been an institution for almost 70 years not only for Ostia but also for Rome, they came to enjoy homemade ice cream. It then lapsed until final closure in early March 2024
