16/05/2025: Would not recommend! Advertised as accessible for people travelling with disabilities/poor mobility. Arrived and were shown to the building down the road which is NOT ACCESSIBLE. The elevator is old and needs the doors to be held open for you to enter meaning I couldn't use them on my own and had to rely on my partner coming everywhere with me. If he was too tired then I was stuck in the room too. The lift also doesn't work if another resident hasn't properly shut the door on another level. Several times my partner had to run up the flights of stairs checking which door had been left open, in order for the lift to work. The rooms were old, windows boarded up so absolutely no natural light, could hear every conversation from the other rooms/when housekeeping would come at 6am. We were still charged the city tax of a 4-star hotel despite this seperate building have zero amenities! Told the porter the room was not suitable and was told to speak to the manager. Stayed in Rome for 4 nights, tried daily to speak to the manager but they were never in. Have send multiple emails via every contact method over the past 2 months to speak to someone regarding this and have has no response.

Non ammetto di essere trattato in questa maniera, che mi si risponda , testuali parole, ' qua stiamo tutti lavorando, se Ve sta bene il tavolo è questo, se no...'. Peraltro non è la prima volta che che mangiamo in questo ristorante. Evidentemente è facile essere gentili e simpatici quando c'è da proporre l'aragosta, decisamente meno quando c'è da far fronte ad una educata lamentela. Mi dispiace perché il cibo è buonissimo, e i camerieri che ci hanno servito sono professionali e gentili (loro sì!), ma oggi è stata l'ultima volta. Buonasera

21/04/2025: Posto sicuramente da primato MA i clienti vanno trattati con educazione e riguardo SOPRATTUTTO se sono loro educati. Togliere un tavolo perché alcuni commensali non hanno potuto presentarsi per cause di forza maggiore e ahimè cosa abbastanza spiacevole. Era evidente la voglia di ripazzare il tavolo per intero che non per metà. Un po’ di empatia non guasterebbe, senza far vivere la fretta di liberare i tavoli per fare doppi turni. AHIMÈ.

07/04/2025: Terrible experience – avoid We went to this pub with high expectations, but unfortunately the only thing that was abundant was the wait: 2 hours to eat, without any communication or apologies from the staff. Despite our constant requests, no one bothered to understand the situation or offer an explanation. After 2 and a half hours we left and got our money back (because they take it before serving the food, now we understand why). The staff seemed completely disinterested and the organization was non-existent. A shame, because the place also has potential, but the total lack of attention to the customer makes it a place we will never return to. What a disappointment for a historic place like this!

05/04/2025: Serata da dimenticare con un gruppo di amici tavolata da sei persone abbiamo ordinato alle 20:30 e alle 23:30 ci siamo alzati dal tavolo e siamo andativi facendoci ridare i soldi perché ancora potevano arrivare gli antipasti dopo numerosi solleciti. Pessimi,nemmeno una parola di scusa.

11/05/2025: Siamo stati a Pasqua e c era il menù fisso e abbiamo mangiato benissimo, la cosa molto sfiziosa sono stati i circa 15 antipasti sia caldo che freddi e tutto il resto era buonissimo. Siamo tornati il 1 maggio, menù alla carta, ed è stata una conferma, si mangia benissimo. Super consigliato

06/05/2025: Decisamente caro, piatti non all'altezza del costo, antipas...tini 30€ spaghetti alle vongole a bagno d'olio 22€ a piatto.....buono il dessert sorbetto al limone. Bocciato

13/05/2025: TERRIBLE PLACE! Go here if you want to be shouted at just trying to order food. Only went there because it was raining and was almost lunch time. These people hate tourists it seems (read the experiences of other 1 and 2 star reviewers here). This strikes me as an odd business plan given their location next to a major tourist attraction. Highly advise giving it a miss. Best bet is to only go to places rated 4.5 or higher on Google Reviews. Even with the odd positive review for this place, they are a long, long way from 4.5/5.0….. Avoid at all costs. Walk down the road to Bar Rosso (unfairly given 3.9 and should be 4.5 IMO), for great friendly staff, food and Prosecco!

23/02/2025: Cafeteria, pastry shop and tobacconist. Happened by chance for a quick lunch and the girl at the counter was super friendly, nothing to give to the colleague who served me. Good food, it's still a diner, the idea of ​​bringing toasted bread is nice. I liked the fact that we have a weekly menu, those who work in the area have the opportunity to vary it Lunch instead of always finding the same things! Average prices, coffee could be improved

28/05/2025: Two euros for a cappuccino standing, and without a receipt. Even though the bar has changed its name, I would say that the bad habits have remained.

02/06/2025: It is clear that the main problem was not the fact that they could not prepare an iced latte or a caffè americano freddo – I fully understand that these are not typical drinks in Italy. What left me with a bitter feeling was the lack of professionalism and arrogance shown by both the cashier and the barista. Rude service can completely ruin the experience, even if the order was perfect. Added to this was a tense and unpleasant work environment, with loud discussions between employees. Even if it was June 2nd, a holiday, it is unacceptable that internal tensions are shown in front of customers, creating an atmosphere that is anything but welcoming. My decision not to return is more than justified: the quality of the service and the education of the staff are fundamental aspects of a positive experience, and unfortunately, in this case, they were completely lacking.

10/05/2025: We had a great experience here. Not only were the coffee, paninis and pastries good, but the staff were very attentive (besides Portuguese, I only speak English, and they were very patient in explaining everything we had questions about). It was our favorite place for breakfast in Rome.

28/05/2025: Cappuccino at the counter and another day sitting at the table. Surcharge clearly indicated. Staff all very kind and professional, dressed appropriately. Before criticizing too much, consider that they have to deal all day with a delirium of people from all over the world, plus there is an infernal noise from the street. So, well done. Too bad I have to leave, otherwise I would have stopped for lunch.

12/05/2025: Disastrous, traveler friends flee!!! We let ourselves be tempted by this pastry shop with a friendly exterior and affordable prices, unfortunately the croissants were not fresh and the sandwich was bad or even questionable. The staff remains pleasant.

25/04/2025: Run away!!! Disastrous experience where our health was put at risk with moldy pastries! A first pastry that we found moldy after biting into it, we reported it to the waiter who did not seem bothered by the situation. He insists on offering us a second one, which is also moldy!! The waiters boast of making a commercial gesture by not charging us for these moldy pastries but the others of the same dish remain in the window! When we asked them about this at the time of departure, they told us that they would remove them when they had time, even though the room was empty at that time, so they simply had no intention of removing them, at the risk of the health of their customers!

19/05/2025: The review is not of course for the beautiful location which is not a merit of the place. They invited us to a Sunday Rainbow "Happy Hour" and I ran. There was little happy, the prices were high and very few tables, the service was a bit inconsistent and a parade of very fashionable members of (my) lgbt community from the 'A' of Alexander McQueen to the Z of Zara.. all present sparkling standing as if on the subway taking selfies to show that "They were there". But interactions and true inclusiveness equal to zero. Happy what?
