08/02/2025: The coffee is correct, but I didn't like that they charged me for an apple cake whose price was €1.70 + €0.50 for taking it to eat at a table on a small terrace without table service. They charge a commission for each drink if you take it sitting down without having table service.

03/03/2025: Siamo tornati in questo bar ideale per pranzare quando si visitano le vie dello shopping a Roma. I tavolini sono piccoli e molto vicini. In 3 abbiamo preso un secondo, 2 contorni e un tramezzino. Con una birra piccola, una cola e un chinotto abbiamo speso 43 euro. Servizio veloce.

03/01/2025: I often go to Greedy Penguin since it's close to home. Convenient for the tobacco service, often taken for ice creams and milkshakes in the summer and snacks in the winter. They are not always friendly.

15/03/2025: Excellent location, a stone's throw from the metro and a 20-minute walk from Termini Station. If you like walking, from the hotel you can easily reach San Pietro, the Colosseum and the Forum with a nice walk. Nice area. The hotel itself is okay, room with private bathroom without windows (or fan!), old hairdryer, shower to be tamed. They have a small spa included in the price upon reservation, but it is for 6 people when in fact there would only be 4. Very kind and helpful staff. Clean place. Take it into consideration especially for the location.

14/03/2025: We will come back with pleasure! We stayed 2 nights, the hotel is well located 5 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain and restaurants. 10 minutes from the Pantheon and 20 minutes from all the other monuments. Very clean, quiet room (on courtyard) with all amenities and top service We didn't have the opportunity to see the swimming pool but I recommend this hotel

18/02/2025: Never have I ever in my years of travelling had a worse experience with a place. When I went to use the bathroom(no one was in line)the man behind the counter was extremely rude, and yelled angrily across the entire cafe for me to stand in line behind two women standing next to him far away from the toilet. I apologized for the misunderstanding because I would never jump the queue with purpose, and there was no way for me to see that they actually were in line 10 meters from the toilet. This was a minor incident, but while I stood there in line the man behind the counter clearly started talking shit about me loudly in Italian making the five other italian people in there including a servant stare at me and laughing, not in a good way. This made me very uncomfortable. Further on after I had used the bathroom, I said thank you so much for letting me use the toilet, but the man behind the counter snapped. He started raising his voice even more, continuing to yell angrily at me first in english then italian. It felt like as he was waiting to attack me(with words) when i got out of the toilet. When I continously tried to apologise for the previos misunderstanding his voice got even louder, and I ended up walking out of the cafe with him still yelling at me. The amount of disrespect. Avoid coming here if you don’t want to be attacked by an angry man who can’t take an apology for an innocent misunderstanding, and has no problem shittalking you loudly in front of the entire cafe.

15/02/2025: I went in taking a bottle of water and asking to go to the bathroom because my girlfriend was sick. They responded to us as if we were beggars… Once finished, we were leaving, we thanked and said goodbye in a very polite way, even after the previous scene and we only received a mischievous look and not even a greeting. I do not recommend.

25/02/2025: Posto pessimo. Ci sono stata con una classe con cui ero in gita a Roma…..cibo immangiabile, neanche nella peggiore delle mense. I ragazzi sono dovuti andare al supermercato per togliersi la fame visto che hanno lasciato tutto

21/02/2025: Si vous voulez manger à l exterieur 10 ° un soir de février sinon passez votre chemin Vu que notre hotel était en face, nous avons projeté de manger dans ce bar /resto mais arrivés à l entrée du resto on nous désigne une terrasse à l extérieur ,couverte mais quand même il fait 10 ° et on souhaite manger à l intérieur où toutes les tables sont dressées mais sans explication on nous dit que c est uniquement à l extérieur du coup ,nous partons ailleurs .

Wide quality of artisanal ice creams, very good, pastries, sandwiches, pizza and more. Various menus, with excellent well-cooked food, with a wide choice, according to the established menu of the day. Good espresso coffee and more at the bar. Artisanal cakes, etc. A place to be in the company of family, friends, as a couple, even alone, for a short break while relaxing, or to have lunch, dinner, or just to have a coffee ☕️ and an ice cream 🍨 🍦. I recommend it

02/02/2025: Very high prices €1.30 for coffee not even in the center of Rome, then you ask for glass coffee and you are told we don't have glass.... But you are a bar you have to have everything.... The rude and unreliable staff will never put me there again foot in that kind of bar if you can call it that..... Really shabby place

27/12/2024: Era uno dei miei punti fermi, tornarci è stato deludente veramente. Tempi d’attesa biblici 2 ore per antipasto e primo. 3 alici fritte,tonno in scatola con pomodoro e pane (una panzanella insomma)insalata di mare ,riso con crema di chele dico chele… di scampi. Be gli scampi non c’era l’ombra . Delusione assurda

17/12/2024: Premetto che ho mangiato in questo ristorante non so quante volte negli ultimi 5/6 anni, abbiamo festeggiato anche giornate importanti scegliendo sempre Baia di Ponente! Quindi anche questa volta decidiamo di andare a cena per festeggiare una data importante, scegliamo i menù fissi, già dall’antipasto ho capito che qualcosa era cambiato, era quasi tutto poco saporito, anche il pane non era buono come sempre. Arrivano gli spaghetti con le vongole: scotti, poco olio e nel mio piatto ho trovata 4 spicchi di aglio, erano immangiabili! I secondi nella norma I contorni atroci, patatine fritte che erano vecchie e riscaldate e cicoria che di sicuro non era quella che ho sempre mangiato da loro che era buonissima. Una delusione assurda, spero che sia stato solo un caso ma parlandone con dei conoscenti mi hanno confermato anche loro che si sono trovati male ultimamente!

03/03/2025: Babington è una storica sala da tè inglese al centro di Roma (piazza di Spagna) che offre una buo a scelta di bevande varie e accompagnamento sia dolce che salato a caffè e tè, nel solco del breakfast britannico. Atmosfera gradevolmente rétro, servizio non velocissimo ma garbato. Ciò detto, vorrei esprimere forti riserve sui prezzi, che mi sono sembrati al limite dello scandaloso. Va bene che siamo al centro di Roma, ma cinque euro e cinquanta per un normalissimo espresso non si giustificano. E nemmeno undici euro per sei piccoli frollini, per tacere di ciò che resta del listino. Nelle immediate vicinanze si trovano locali eleganti e rinomati la cui politica dei costi è decisamente meno rapinosa. Last not ,East, a questo prezzo mi aspetterei perlomeno un tovagliolino di lino, e non uno di carta, ancorché grazioso.
