24/05/2025: I come here often, practically every time I return to Rome I come here for lunch. There are two options for eating. The first is to order everything you want to eat at the counter, it is delivered to you on plates placed on trays and you take it to the terrace overlooking the lake behind the counter (air conditioned or with the windows open because there is always air) or you sit on the veranda next to the counter and there you are served by the waiter. Regardless of the choice, the porchetta is perfect, tasty and served warm to enhance its flavors. The cured meats are high quality, Tuscan and something local, the cheeses are delicious, ditto the grilled vegetables, the olives and the remaining side dishes. The buffalo mozzarella is always fresh. Yesterday I had a lasagna in addition to what I usually have and I liked it a lot. As for the desserts I don't know, because I always have either the tozzetti with wine or the ciambelline with wine. The wines don't have much selection, but I take the house one which is a red Frascati that I like. I've never had problems with the service, maybe also because I go there for lunch in the middle of the week and it's not crowded. The prices for me are more than adequate for the quality of the food which I repeat is high. For me it's always a confirmation, I go back every time and every time I get up full and satisfied.

19/05/2025: One star because it doesn't allow me to give less... I don't recommend stopping to eat here, the price is really high for a few slices of sausage. The service is better, but it depends on who you end up with. The place could be treated better. Overall I will never go back, you can't pay so much just because you can see the lake

20/05/2025: Hermoso lugar acogedor con café muy agradable (pedí un macchiato y capuchino). También pedí un croissant con pistacho y uno con chocolate y ambos estaban geniales y frescos. Todo esto era muy barato y el personal era muy amable y rápido. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar!

20/05/2025: Pequeño café local increíble con personal amable. El barista y el cajero eran agradables y nos habló en inglés fluido y fueron muy rápidos con nuestros pedidos. En cuanto al café, compramos capuchino que eran los mejores que bebimos durante nuestra estancia en Roma y los cruasanes estaban frescos con un relleno rico. Por último, pero no menos importante, esta cafetería tiene precios justos, ya que pagamos 4. 50 € por dos capuchinos y dos croissants. Sin duda recomiendo probar los de pistacho o chocolate!

31/05/2025: The shower floods the bathroom floor and the key sticks in the door, but other than that it was fantastic!! Bed was super clean and white, rooms were clean, fresh white towels and also chairs and table outside. We loved it.

21/05/2025: Spritz and cutting board? All in mini version.. and for two we paid 35 euros. A steal! The appetizers were similar to those you can find in any supermarket, the seaweed fritters were old and greasy (reheated because they were not fragrant) nothing sophisticated or tasty The waitress seemed to have just left the army, no smile and no courtesy. Absolutely to be avoided.

17/05/2025: With all the money they make (white pizza at 35 euros per kg) they can't even fix the damaged umbrellas that allow rainwater to leak onto the dirty chairs where they very calmly suggest you sit. No no no we're not there yet.

16/05/2025: Bra mat men inget som sticker ut. Tog en lunch där vi beställde lasagne. Lasagnen var god och personalen trevlig men inget som sticker ut utöver det vanliga. Platsen var mysig och vi satt ute och åt. Brödet som man får in kostar 3 euro per person. Gott bröd men kanske något som inte ska kosta 21 euro på vårt sällskap på sju personer, brukar ingå. Sänker betyget något…

20/05/2025: A cozy New York-style place in Pigneto. Excellent sandwiches and good quality of raw materials. We ordered a biggie and a crispy, excellent. Giulia was super nice, so the staff was super friendly. Highly recommended

23/03/2025: Small and well-kept bar with a wide variety of express dishes for lunch break! Even the sweets and sandwiches with vegetables are not bad. The managers are friendly and easy-going, always welcoming with the customers. I go there with pleasure

28/04/2025: Disappointing stay at Hotel Ludovisi. The walls are paper thin — you can hear everything from neighboring rooms, which made it hard to relax or get a good night's sleep. On top of that, they were constantly complaining about giving out complimentary water, like it was some huge favor. For the price, I expected better service and at least a basic level of comfort. Instead, it felt like they were nickel-and-diming guests at every turn. Definitely not worth it.

23/04/2025: No A/C until 1 May. Other than that, the service is great and the rooms are beautiful.

03/05/2025: Location sul mare, ma il locale -ristorante è poco curato ,si mangia con tovaglia e tovaglioli di carta ed i bagni sono brutti e poco puliti.Abbiamo mangiato un banale antipasto misto ed un deludente piatto di spaghetti alle telline .Il conto per 2antipasti ,2 spaghetti,2 calici di vino,1 bottiglia di acqua ed un caffè è stato di 78 euro,decisamente alto rispetto alla qualità della cucina.Rapido e gentile il servizio.

19/04/2025: Make way for young people. I went to this historic and well-stocked shop and I found a big difference between the very smart guy at the counter and the lazy and uncaring bald elderly man of his colleague. Patanegra was recommended as top, very good and exceptionally sweet veal. As I said at the beginning, make way for young people who make the difference (if older people don't like it, they can retire)

15/04/2025: In the last two months I have been to Ercoli 3 times, so I have had the opportunity to try different dishes from the menu. I fell so much in love with this little place, a very famous wine shop and delicatessen in Rome. The internal room envelops you with all the wines around and makes you relax immediately. The prices are a little high, but the quality of the meats and cheeses is really high. The first courses were also excellent, but unfortunately the last time I tried the hamburger and it was rather disappointing. At the price of €35, I was expecting something Gourmet, but everything was wrong, the meat was not cooked as I wanted it to be medium, but it arrived well cooked. Poor quality bread, cold cherry tomatoes, and everything else, i.e. robiola and chestnut leaves, nothing special. All poorly assembled, and also rather cold. In short, we're not there, I hope that this criticism of mine helps to improve the dish, because Ercoli is truly a place of my heart now and I know that you can do more!

15/05/2025: Puoi anche fare una ristorazione medio bassa se ci associ un prezzo in linea. Se invece offri una qualità bassa ad un prezzo alto non va bene. Cucina mediocre.
