Angolo Caffè In Civitavecchia

Stopping in Civitavecchia, craving coffee, you sit outside this place where they use a Molinari di Modena blend, a revelation on the way to... an extraordinary, exceptional coffee. Given the pleasure of having enjoyed such a delicacy, we returned hours later and, unfortunately, like a sad awakening from a colorful dream, the coffee was dull and watery, nothing like the first one in the morning. So I'm not giving it 5 stars... a real shame... probably the flow of customers didn't allow for the coffee to be presented properly. Good service with a young and attractive waitress, the interior is nothing spectacular but visually appealing.

We visited Caffè del Corso twice during our stay and can't understand some of the very negative reviews. On our first visit, there were four of us, and we had drinks and a light meal. We appreciated that you can still get a large beer at a reasonably good price. Prices in Civitavecchia have risen significantly in many places recently. We ordered pasta dishes, which were perfectly fine. Not gourmet cuisine, but well-prepared, tasty, and fairly priced. The value for money was excellent. We didn't experience any of the alleged rip-offs that some reviews describe. The bill was correct and easy to understand. We were able to pay without any problems, either by Visa card or cash. The next day, we went back for breakfast. Coffee, a croissant, and a small snack – again, nothing to complain about. The service varied slightly. Some staff members were very friendly and attentive, while others seemed a bit less motivated. We noticed this, but it didn't significantly detract from our overall impression. All in all, Caffè del Corso is a solid café for a coffee, a beer, or a simple meal. It's not an exceptional experience, but we were satisfied and would visit again.

Excellent breakfast at really fair prices, highly recommended

Located in the center of the main street (pedestrian area). It offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Excellent for breakfast, brunch, and aperitifs.
