23/03/2026: We went one evening and had a croquette and some very good French fries as an appetizer. We then ordered two excellent pizzas! The service was fast and very friendly. Recommended.

28/02/2026: The small terrace is pleasant, and the food is decent. Being French, I can't call them pastries, but the cakes they serve are still acceptable. Prices vary for reasons unknown, but the staff remains friendly based on our experience there over a few days.

30/09/2025: Terrible experience – avoid We went to this pub with high expectations, but unfortunately the only thing that bothered us was the wait: two hours for food, with no communication or apology from the staff. Despite our constant requests, no one bothered to understand the situation or offer an explanation. After two and a half hours, we left, demanding our money back (because they take it before serving the food, now we understand why). The staff seemed completely disinterested, and the organization was lacking. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the total lack of customer service makes it a place we won't return to. What a disappointment for such a historic place!

28/03/2026: A truly delightful little place in the Piazza Bologna area. Very elegant interiors, divided into two rooms and two terraces: in the upper room, the decor, as the name suggests, is in Victorian Parisian style, with velvet sofas and armchairs, bistro tables, and Belle Époque prints. There's a piano in the dining room, reminiscent of themed musical evenings. The first room is simpler, with just a cash register and a counter, but still characterized by understated elegance. One of the terraces is very charming and resembles a small greenhouse, with a white metal structure and fairy lights. The savory menu (I had an aperitif) is very good: I quickly looked at the sandwiches, which, in addition to having unique names, also offer very appreciable culinary choices. The wine list is also good, and I saw several bottles in the cellars adjacent to the dining room, suggesting a wide selection. None of us tried the cocktails, so I won't comment. We opted for the platter with a drink (€15, a very fair price), and the quality is immediately apparent. Excellent, refined products: truly superior quality in the selection of items presented (brown bread, pepper bread with vegetables, bresaola, prosciutto, salami (all the cured meats are top-quality), cheeses, fig compote, warm scamorza cheese with speck, toasted bread with raw olive oil, and more I'm probably forgetting!). We also chose to try the off-menu platter with wild boar cured meats: excellent! All without skimping on the price! Along with the wine, which is a positive note, as an entrée, we received samples of mini pizzas and butter croissants with cheese: much appreciated!! It's just a shame it's not very popular from what I saw, as on Friday there weren't many people, which also means the place closes early. I found it to be a real gem for the area, and I really hope that with the new season they change their hours and, as the owner mentioned, they organize themed musical evenings. My only regret is that I don't have any photos. I definitely want to return for a very slow breakfast...

24/03/2026: Tea €5??? Hot water €5??? Everything is fine, it's even a nice place, but it seems absurd to me that a tea costs €5. Then we went in to look at the prices; for a cheesecake it was written in the window €4.50, then we saw on the receipt €5. It's fine that the price goes up with table service, but at least inform the customer. We were also welcomed politely, but that doesn't matter when the receipt arrives and for a breakfast with cheesecake, a snowflake, a coffee, and a tea it says €15.50.

28/10/2025: A highly rated bar, with a wide selection of wines. Space is rare in our neighborhood. Friendly staff, endless tables for a chat. But the rotisserie was awful. I ate peas that tasted like they came from a can. The vegetables were cooked cold, purposely overdone, and unseasoned. In the kitchen, you have to do a little with flavor and goodness. Then, if you want to respect those who don't eat, add garlic, salt, onion, pepper, chili pepper. The kitchen is dying. To do everything. In the end, nothing is good.

08/04/2026: My friends and I went to this restaurant with high expectations and came away with a truly memorable experience (unfortunately, not for the right reasons). Let's start with the positives: the place is really nice, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. In fact, we were so relaxed that we had plenty of time to reflect on life...while we waited and tried to figure out what we were eating. Let's move on to the food: let's just say the menu included "extra surprise" ingredients. I don't know if it was an attempt at fusion cuisine or a tribute to the surrounding natural environment, but finding hair in the pasta wasn't exactly the gastronomic experience I had in mind. The service? An almost philosophical experience: you ask for one thing and you get the opposite, thus learning to accept the unpredictability of existence. But the real touch of class came later, with the restaurant's response: instead of a sincere apology, they decided to focus entirely on irony...too bad it wasn't funny. Let's just say that if they were trying to be funny, the result was more "embarrassing" than brilliant. In conclusion: a nice place for a stroll, not so much for eating. If you're looking for thrills... this is the place, but not in the way you're hoping. ⭐️ (one star of encouragement, more for the location than anything else)

08/04/2026: The restaurant's location is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Perfect for enjoying a sunny lunch or a relaxing dinner with family or friends. Unfortunately, I have to say the opposite about the food: we found more than one hair in our pasta. The service wasn't excellent because we asked what was in our appetizer and were served something completely different. Unfortunately, the staff serving us didn't seem very friendly or apologetic after these two incidents; quite the opposite, in fact: they were very rude! (Sorry you lost the only three hairs left on our plates ☺️)

17/08/2025: Il Galeone is a classic restaurant that focuses entirely on the quality of its food. Adequate portions, well-executed dishes, distinct flavors, and no unnecessary overstatement. Each course is carefully prepared, and you can taste the attention to the ingredients. From appetizers to desserts, everything is crafted with taste and intelligence. The service is impeccable, courteous, and fast, even in the busiest moments. And the bill is more than fair for what they serve. A place where you eat truly well, and where you'll want to return.

13/03/2026: Extremely disappointed. We came to celebrate our friend’s bachelorette party and were turned away quite abruptly, even though we had a reservation. I can understand that a technical issues happen on their system, but what I cannot understand is the lack of empathy and willingness to find a solution :(

23/06/2025: The other afternoon I went into this croissant shop, a window with little or nothing, when it should always be well stocked, in my opinion. I took two simple croissants to take away at the exaggerated cost of €1.50 each (a really high price for empty and skimpy croissants) a waffle, for the beauty of €6, which is absolutely not worth the excessive cost... an experience not to be repeated absolutely

07/10/2025: Game night on TV; I'm not sure what it's like normally, but the noise level was acceptable. Excellent beers, but the menu is almost entirely sourced from a nearby supplier. Service was incredibly slow (probably due to the understaffed staff and the game), and most importantly, the burger (from an outside sandwich shop) was completely burned, and when we cut it, we found a hair. In short, go there only for the craft beers, which are always different.

20/09/2025: Excellent beer selection and friendly, welcoming staff. The perfect place to watch a game or spend an evening with friends.
