18/03/2025: Restaurant on the Fiumicino promenade, facing beach, with large sand parking that can accommodate several machines. the restaurant looks good, the structure is similar to a classic 80s bathing establishment. inside the restaurant is a bit retro with dated furnishings but which fit perfectly in the context. The service is good, the waiters are courteous and overall quite careful. Food is not, in my opinion, nothing exceptional both in taste and in quantities. the price is of a high level fish restaurant. I don't think I will return

03/04/2025: Tourist trap... you'll pay a total of 10 euros more than expected. They charge you 2 euros for non-bottled water, 3 euros for service, and 5 euros for cutlery. They serve you a "pint" glass of beer (which isn't a real pint) as soon as you order a beer without specifying the size... obviously it's 7 euros. Too bad because the chef makes good food.

02/04/2025: Nous sommes restés une semaine à Rome , pour des vacances en famille , & nous avons mangés 3 soirs dans ce restaurant , tellement c'était délicieux & sympa ! Bref ; allez-y les yeux fermés !

14/03/2025: I had a really disappointing experience at this bar. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed completely disorganized. The bartenders not only took forever to serve us, but also became rude whenever we tried to ask about the food on display. The atmosphere was confusing and unprofessional. I will definitely not go back and cannot recommend this place to anyone.

19/11/2024: Bar che nn viene rinnovato, ci vado da anni e ogni volta spero di trovarlo svecchiato, ma nulla! Prezzi ingiustificati . 1 baba' ( buono) e due calici di prosecco 20 €. Anche no! Mi spiace per il bar , che per la posizione ha delle potenzialità che potrebbe essere sfruttate alla grande.

15/01/2025: Awesome little restaurant. It’s really fast and delicious. They have a selection of food that you can select and eat immediately or you can order pasta which comes in a few minutes. It was all locals while we were there which really appealed to us since it seems like every other restaurant in the area is a tourist trap. The eggplant and cauliflower were outstanding. I was already full from that but had to have some delicious pasta as well. The prices are much better than anywhere else we’ve been. The owners were incredibly nice and you can tell they really care about their customers. I would highly recommend this place.

31/03/2025: Location veramente molto bella, io e il mio compagno abbiamo optato per il menù “Palmarola” tutto buono, il cameriere di sala ci ha consigliato il primo del giorno: ravioli alla crema di scampi, da 10/10!!!! Unica pecca forse solo la poca presenza in sala di un cameriere ma per il resto assolutamente positivo.

24/03/2025: A few steps from the center of Nettuno, In Mezzo al Mare is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like you're in the right place right away: a relaxed but refined atmosphere, the sound of the waves in the background and the aroma of the sea coming straight from the kitchen. The raw appetizer was a dazzling start: very fresh raw materials, served with simplicity and elegance. Red prawns, scampi, tartare and oysters - every bite was a tribute to the sea, without unnecessary frills, but with an attention to detail that you can feel more than you can see. The first course, made with the catch of the day, arrived as a surprise of the moment. Perfectly balanced, tasty but never invasive, with textbook pasta cooking. To close the circle, a fried calamari and prawns to applaud: crunchy, dry, with a lightness that is rarely found. Every bite was fragrant, with that full and authentic flavor that only a well-made fried food can give. The service is friendly, smiling, attentive without ever being formal. The wine list offers a good selection of local and national labels, with choices suitable for both those looking for bubbles and those who want a structured white to accompany the meal. In Mezzo al Mare is a small jewel overlooking the Lazio coast: a must-see for those who love real fish, treated with respect and passion. I will return, without a doubt.

14/04/2025: Woman outside teases you with orange menu, 12$ pastas. Lots of pizzas $11. And other great items. Once you get upstairs. Be prepared for the red menu, $26-40 pastas $18+ pizzas and cocktails double the price. They acted dumb. Brought red menu out to her and she said “onggg. Such a mistake. I didn’t know” Sick of this tourists fraud. Should be embarrassed to operate a business this way.

But what is absolutely unacceptable is the rudeness of the owner. A disgrace and a symptom of the terrible culinary culture of many. To each his own!

21/03/2025: Too good! Carbonara bite not to be missed, obviously the sandwiches are super but leave some space for the tiramisuùù. It's always nice to come back here ❤️

17/02/2025: Small place where they serve freshly made sandwiches, burgers and salads... the staff is friendly, the internal space is epic, but you can take away and eat next to the lake. I would just suggest slightly larger portions. The sandwiches are quite small although well filled

09/11/2024: Sports hall occupied by so-called alternative youth. The place is obviously neglected, certainly not in compliance with current legislation but it is open to the public. They organize meetings, parties, music. Behind the building there is a tent with various DJ stations for music, and a stage for live performances. Everywhere ranting signs with messages relating to movements out of time and logic, such as transfeminism... For those who don't want to okkupare, there's no point in going there.
