09/09/2025: QUALITY AND COURTESY Excellent bread made with flour from mills that grind ancient and traceable Italian grains using stone and cylinder mills. A wide daily selection for all meals (including breakfast). The pan pizzas are good (though not a huge selection). The Passata della Pizza Rossa (and the dough, of course) are excellent. Prices are in line with, or slightly lower than, similar micro-ovens. A true excellence in Rome.

I'm updating my review to confirm what I've already written: the owners of this bar are truly very kind and maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Years have passed, but it remains and will remain our favorite bar. It's a shame I can only give it 5 stars; it deserves many more.

09/05/2026: My best friend and I drove 40 minutes to the beach this weekend, passing by a 360° ten-year-old espresso shop. It was my friend's perfect stop, offering everything from light meals to coffee. The authentic Italian Mediterranean light meals are always freshly prepared, meticulously crafted, and a feast for the eyes and the palate. The sight and taste are truly delightful. With such delicious food before you, you can't help but reflect, or perhaps your cravings are irresistible, but after savoring the experience, you'll understand the true meaning of life. They offer a wide variety of pastries year-round, and the espresso is simply irresistible. Immersed in the rich aroma of coffee, you can escape the daily hustle and bustle. This is the kind of relaxation a weekend should offer. What's even more delightful is the warm, friendly, and attentive service of the owner and staff. The soft music creates a pleasant atmosphere, making it an ideal place to enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee and experience a moment of tranquility.

31/05/2026: A very disappointing experience. We waited over an hour to serve a table of 13 people. The service was disorganized and inattentive. The portions were small, and the fish seemed anything but fresh. An unpleasant experience that I wouldn't recommend.

29/03/2026: Nice place and very pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very young, efficient, and friendly. The appetizer options are interesting, but some could be improved, especially the tartare, which is minced too finely and undermines the meat.

04/11/2025: Delicious pastries for 40 years. A few years after my previous review, I must unfortunately note that the mini pastries are no longer what they used to be. I've bought them a few times, and even if I eat them no more than three hours later, having kept them in the refrigerator, they're already gone, with flabby pastry and cream or almost sour cream. You can't sell old pastries, because it's not just a question of money, but because it takes away a joy you wanted to bring home to celebrate. Not Schettino, at least the old one. After 40 years, I'm forced to change pastry shops.

26/10/2025: We sit at the table, convinced that, like in all bars in Rome, there's table service, a waitress next to us chats with some customers. We wait, 15 minutes. She doesn't even look up, just keeps going about her business, as if she were paid to talk about hair color and vacations. Finally, I get up and ask if there's table service, since other people had been served while we hadn't. She replies, "If you want table service, come in and order it." This place used to be a beautiful bar, now, besides being old and sad, it's also run by people who have no customer service whatsoever. Well, move on.

15/03/2026: Last night I was in Genzano with 10 other friends for a training course, and we made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant: we ate divinely! As a vegan, I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of their efforts to prepare something original and delicious for me...which is definitely not a given. The location is truly unique, and the staff is friendly and welcoming! A truly wonderful discovery!

22/02/2026: My partner, my son, and I had lunch today. The welcome was very friendly, but the food was mind-blowingly good value. An appetizer on a board with a couple of slices of cold cuts each (ham, mortadella, loin, salami), a bowl of ricotta, and a slice of mortadella each, cooked on the grill, cost €45. Then the first courses arrived, no comment... the ingredients were low-quality... we basically got up, paid the €95 bill, and ran away. There was just something to discuss, but given the small place and the people who were eating, I preferred to leave. I won't add anything else, even if there is something to say...

18/05/2026: Public transportation is at least 10 minutes away (either inside Villa Borghese Park or in Piazza del Popolo). The phone didn't work (which was promptly replaced), and the room was a bit old-fashioned.
