21/07/2026: Excellent traditional dishes, the service was fast and the staff extremely friendly. Every detail was carefully crafted. A true feast for the eyes and the palate. Reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere.

Today, restaurants strive for originality at all costs, but often the simplest things are the best, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to find them because they're taken for granted and we forget that success is achieved through passion, not by inventing fusion styles that fade as quickly as they're born. Well done.

18/07/2026: This morning I went into this cafe’ and ordered 2 chocolate croissants and one regular cappuccino and a cold cappuccino to go. The girl at the register was incredibly rude and I was forced to shout to order as she apparently couldn’t hear me. I immediately asked the guy who was serving me if he could put the liquids in a sealed glass container (how they usually do in all cafes in Rome for drinks to go), especially for hot drinks, considering the almost 40 degrees outside. He said they didn’t have them, and I as I looked behind at the girl who was pouring the hot cappuccino in a paper glass, she looked at me and said “do you still want it?” In a horrible way. So I payed and left and on the way home the liquid of both cappuccinos broke through the paper glasses and completely spilled on the street while I was walking. I had to go back and asked if they could make them again for me, and explained that it was too hot outside and the paper glasses couldn’t hold the liquids. To my surprise, they made the cappuccinos again and put them in 2 glass containers! I asked to talk to the manager and told her the whole story and how I was badly treated and while I was talking, the girl at the register started saying I didn’t ask for the glass containers! What a liar and what a horrible person to work with clients in such a crowded cafe in Rome! It’s a shame how these people treat their local customers and the prices definitively do not match the quality of their product. As a local, I do not recommend this place at all.

18/07/2026: For me, they have the best espresso in the city, not to mention the pastries. A must-visit on every trip to Rome. Greetings from San Candido :-)

10/05/2026: It was a Sunday in May, breakfast time, and the counter, tables inside, and the outdoor area were packed, with two fewer people working. Yet I found the service friendly, the products high-quality, and always smiling. I'll definitely be back!

20/12/2025: FINALLY A BREAD WITH A CRUST! I frequent many micro-bakeries or artisanal bakeries that offer high-quality products, but often their bread, although well-leavened, has a thin, flimsy crust that's very difficult to slice. I purchased the Naturello, which finally had a structured, crispy crust (and not for "toothless" people). There's a wide variety of breads, as well as pizzas, leavened breakfast breads, desserts, cakes, etc. Congratulations! It's a shame I don't know the type of processing and the brands of the flours used (hopefully Italian and stone-ground), perhaps published on a website that doesn't have a description of all the types of bread! CHRISTMAS 2025 UPDATE: Excellent Panettone, Few Ingredients, and Easy Digestion!

30/11/2025: Everything is truly delicious! The pastries are perfectly leavened and super crunchy. I always order the bread too; they have all kinds, and they're all delicious!

23/07/2026: In the heart of the Mezzocammino neighborhood, in southern Rome, this pub offers a wide selection of beers at reasonable prices. It's an "old-fashioned" place, as is tradition! I'll be happy to return! I'd personally like to see something more about the food.

10/05/2026: I used to come to Il Turcotto with my parents, and I keep coming back because it's a true culinary experience. Dishes are prepared with the freshest ingredients, with authentic flavors, and everything is incredibly tasty. You can taste the quality in every detail. The service is impeccable; the staff is kind, attentive, and fast. Highly recommended in every way.
