It's a small place, with outdoor seating and stools available. Friendly and authentic service from a true Roman, a lovely discovery. I recommend it 🥇

18/07/2026: What's the point of responding to customers who complain about the heat by saying you've taken the necessary measurements and everything's fine? If you receive dozens of feedback regarding the same issue, the temperature in the mall is clearly not adequate. Stores must maintain refrigerator temperatures (those that can) to compensate for the heat coming from the mall. It's impossible to have a satisfactory customer experience. Do you have to have someone feel sick before you intervene? Besides, how can stores make money if customers (rightly) prefer to go to competing malls where it's actually nicer? It's cooler on the subway, and that's it.

09/05/2026: Location: It's beautiful and super romantic, it's on a terrace, and the alleyway really makes it special. Service: The service from the guys and the lady (I assume she was the owner) was excellent, but everyone was very friendly and attentive. Food: Mmm, the pasta carbonra was an 8/10, not bad, but I can't say it was the best I've ever had. But what was excellent and delicious was the grilled octopus. 10/10. The beer was also very good. Cost: It is a bit pricey, €26 for the octopus and €14 for the spaghetti, plus drinks. But of course, it's worth it because the food is delicious. I suggest you arrive early so you don't need a reservation. As the afternoon goes on, they start asking for reservations because it gets crowded.

04/05/2026: Recommend on social media by several people but we were very disappointed. When we arrived it looked lovely - very pretty and clean. However the staff looked miserable, did not smile or engage with us as we would expect at this calibre of establishment. We shared the raw fish ceviche with mandarin and mint starter which was really just tiny squares of fish in runny orange juice, the Amatriciana had hardly any meat in it and was full of bitter tomato passata, the ravioli was extremely al dente with parts being practically raw and it was only luke warm when served, the ‘baked potatoes’ appeared to be boiled not baked as there was hardly any colour and no crispness to them. No-one checked if we were enjoying our meal. The bill for 1 starter, 2 mains and 2 drinks (no desserts) was €98!!! No bread basket offered but cost €2 if ordered, veg extra at €9. We’d eaten at a wonderful authentic Italian restaurant the night before and paid the same for 2 starters, 2 mains - the best carbonara ever! - 2 desserts and 3 drinks plus complimentary bread basket and 2 complimentary Limoncello shots. We will definitely be going back to Trattoria Della Stampa but not Cucini Del teatro. Sorry Stephano - your restaurant concept is good but the staff are not personable enough for the image you’re trying to build and the food is far too expensive and bland
