17/01/2026: Jan 2026 • Couple Good evening, I would advise the owner of the pizzeria to better select her staff, given what happened to us last Thursday evening, January 8, 2026... We arrived, parked the car, and went inside to ask if we could bring the dog inside with us or if we had to leave it in the car. Following is the conversation I had with a young man sitting at the reception desk: Q: "Good evening, there are two of us and we need dinner. Do you have a table available?" A: "Considering we're a catering establishment, yes, we do have a table." (smiling sarcastically and looking around at the colleagues present at the time) Responding to the greeting was obviously considered superfluous, let alone standing up. Q: "We have a small dog with us. Are pets allowed?" A: "Yes, of course, how can I do that?" (Laughing loudly and looking around again as if to check out the audience of colleagues, some of whom were giggling...) Okay... I'll overlook it, age has made me more thoughtful and less prone to reaction; we sat at the table next to the reception desk, number 12 if I'm not mistaken. A brunette girl with square black glasses arrives, petite and very kind; she takes our order, brings us drinks and the cheeses (pecorino and parmesan) to accompany the pasta dishes we'd requested. Meanwhile, I ask for a focaccia with a little prosciutto, which arrives almost immediately. Before it's even cooled, the first courses arrive: a gricia, which was supposed to have tonnarelli (but on the way from the kitchen to the table, they became spaghetti, submerged under a mountain of cheese, hopefully pecorino; not a word about the change in pasta) and a plate of gnocchi with meat sauce. The gricia was very salty, and no, it wasn't pecorino, because I first tasted the pasta at the edge of the plate, which wasn't covered in cheese. The gnocchi were topped with a very concentrated sauce, and they were also salty. Meanwhile, the staff chatted between the reception desk and the oven, "grazing" calmly without worrying about the volume of their voices or the topic of conversation, people coming in and out of the kitchen; at one point, judging by the tone of their voices, it even sounded like someone was arguing. Meanwhile, the "nice" guy who had welcomed us, so busy being the center of attention to satisfy his own ego, changed his clothes, and I saw him leave the restaurant. I find myself thinking about how valuable it is to think at least a couple of times before speaking. It's always a good thing to think before saying something inappropriate or wrong. Sometimes you run the risk of finding yourself in situations that are, to say the least, embarrassing, if you're lucky... The only positive note is the waitress who served us, who seemed like a lifeline in this whole situation. Thank you :-) It's a shame, this story ruined a good memory... when I stopped to buy the caciottine and ricotta you made, the ricotta was often still warm... Then I saw you change and you opened the pizzeria. Over the years, I often came here for pizza. At first, you were only open in the summer, and later in the winter too. I especially liked the summer because it's relaxing to sit on the terrace in front of the place and enjoy the cool air. I haven't lived in Rome for many years now, but when I returned, I always stopped by for at least a pizza (which, by the way, is very good). I'm very sorry that this won't be my next stop... I don't expect anything from this report; I just wanted to warn you to pay more attention to the selection and management of your staff. There might be other people like me who find other places to spend an evening. I owed you that much.

17/01/2026: I love this place especially the kindness of Stefano and Sofia and the flexibility of Davide. I also would like to express the warm welcome of the staff. Thank you very much. If anybody wants to have a nice dinner outside the centre, this place is more than recommended.

29/01/2026: Friendliness and hospitality, excellent beer and perfect cocktails

10/01/2026: We booked a table for dinner at this pub. Once we were seated, the waitress was immediately rude when taking our order, but we didn't think much of it at first. We ordered five beers, two bottles of water, a portion of cheese and broccoli croquettes, and three portions of fries. After about an hour, the waitress returned to the table, urging us to order dinner, claiming the reservation was for "dinner." In a decidedly rude tone, she insisted that, in her opinion, what we had ordered couldn't be considered dinner, even going so far as to count our pockets and say that €9.00 per person wasn't enough given the reservation. It's a shame, because we would have ordered more, but given the rudeness of the staff, we preferred to get up and not consume any more. Kindness and courtesy make the difference: we definitely won't be returning.

21/02/2026: Always friendly and helpful, pizza for all tastes at any time. A guarantee, highly recommended, even for ready-made meals!

01/02/2026: It's home now. It's ideal for a meeting with friends or a quiet evening after work. Excellent selection of beers, always changing, and the sandwiches are delicious. A simple but welcoming pub.

04/01/2026: We've been to the taverna often, and it's become a regular stop on every visit to Gaeta. I recommend the tagliata di mino and the fillet steak with beer and honey.

06/12/2025: We came with some colleagues for the Christmas lights... the staff were very kind, the food was delicious, especially the gnocchi with sea bream sauce... the octopus was spectacular and the cold cuts were of high quality, definitely worth repeating.

15/12/2025: Historic seafood restaurant in Fiumicino, beautifully cooked dishes with generous toppings, excellent classic seafood appetizer, vast selection of wines, spotlessly clean restaurant, excellent service, and reasonable prices.

27/11/2025: For his graduation lunch, my fiancé chose this restaurant in Fiumicino for a delicious seafood meal, and the result truly exceeded our expectations! We were greeted warmly and kindly from the start, and the service was friendly yet attentive. We started with various appetizers, including fried baby octopus, seafood salads, stewed mussels, marinated anchovies... phenomenal, the fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. We followed this with two first courses, risotto with scampi cream and spaghetti with clams (special!!), and two second courses, grilled fish and mixed fried fish, accompanied by French fries and salad. To finish, a refreshing lemon sorbet, cake, and coffee!! Their house wine, with a personalized label, was also very good, as were various liqueurs offered to us at the end of the meal. All for €50 per person. So, if you're looking for a place to eat good fresh fish, I can only recommend Ristorante La Lampara. I found a cuisine that highlights the authenticity and simplicity of the dishes, which in my opinion, when it comes to fish, is always the best! Thank you for making us spend a wonderful day that we will definitely remember ❤️

A special mention goes to Gabriele, who truly makes the difference: he's present, friendly, always smiling, and very attentive to making everyone feel at ease. I'll definitely be back.
