19/11/2025: We went there in the morning, around 8:30, for breakfast, two parents and two children. The food was fantastic, with traditional local desserts also available, a wide selection, and very friendly staff. You order at the counter inside, and then, during the busiest hours, they give you a tray and you can sit at one of the many tables outside. Since it was a beautiful day, we did so. If it's raining, there's some room inside, but you'll have to wait if it's crowded. Otherwise, you can take away.

11/11/2025: This morning we decided to have breakfast here, varying between sweet and savory. We ordered three sandwiches, two with tuna and one with ham. We had to exchange the ham one because the sliced ​​meat inside was gray. One of the tuna sandwiches was acceptable, but the second was unsightly and even inedible: wet bread and stale tuna. Overall, to console ourselves for the unpleasant savory breakfast, I bit into the pistachio croissant, only to notice a hair on the croissant. I can fully understand the sandwiches from the night before, but this shows complete disregard for the food on display and how it's selected and handled.

30/08/2025: We stopped for a cocktail, forgetting that we sat outside because it was scorching hot inside and the air conditioning wasn't on... very quick service, light cocktails (it could be better), but upon request they could kindly bring us something, as in all bars they usually bring chips, olives, peanuts... the answer is "yes, on top"... in conclusion, a 50g bag of chips costs €1.50. It's shameful in 2025 not to be able to nibble on anything unless you pay.

10/08/2025: I had a great time, the staff was fast and attentive, the food was very good and the cappuccino was delicious.

03/11/2025: Wasn't impressed with the service or quality. The whole staff seemed to be in poor moods and not overly friendly, it really rubbed the wrong way when the server put the card reader in my face and asked for a tip with the smallest option being 5€, when I asked if there was another option he told me no and insisted that I must tip: 5, 10 or 15€. Pizza was mediocre. I would recommend Frankie's pizza bar, it's about a 10 minute walk through the city from this place. The service, quality and the value was better. I hate to leave a poor review but with it being in a high tourist area I think it's the right thing to do.

21/08/2025: Giorgio's home! The most rock 'n' roll bar in Trieste!

17/08/2025: Thanks so much to Georgio for a wonderful night! By far the best atmosphere we found in a bar in Trieste during our short stay. Georgio was kind and great craic and then he found out we were Irish he played us some Rory Gallagher. It's cash only, not a cocktail vibe but beers and spirits aplenty with good rock and soul music played from CDs. A few sore heads the next day but the memories remain ! X

05/11/2025: A great stop for a toilet, excellent coffee and something small to take away.

30/10/2025: Snack bar, the selection is a few types of salads, hot sandwiches and pastries, but they are fresh and delicious. There are only a few tables, which can be a bit limited during busy periods. The restrooms are clean. The shop also has souvenirs, in case someone remembers before the border that they forgot to buy something.

10/10/2025: As a Neapolitan and pizza lover, I can say that the food here is truly delicious. The pizza by the slice is also worth it. I recommend it...5 stars!!!

01/10/2025: I ordered a ham and mushrooms on Deliveroo. Really bad. The ham was spoiled; the color and smell speak for themselves. The mushrooms were old. I had to throw it away and order something else. Terrible. The photo of the ham speaks for itself, and no, it wasn't added during cooking. You can see the difference in color.

25/08/2025: A disappointment. The scallops au gratin were three half-scallops, a bit of breadcrumbs on top, and no seasoning whatsoever. The ravioli, which were supposed to have shrimp sauce, were instead filled with cherry tomatoes and zucchini (if I order one thing, I don't see why something completely different should arrive). The desserts (obviously packaged) were dry. The service was questionable; four waitresses twiddling their thumbs, the dining room with only a few tables occupied, and they couldn't even bring the dishes more or less all at once. On top of that, you had to wait forever for everything, be it a piece of bread or a coffee. The bill... exorbitantly high. There were at least three people in the dining room, two brunettes and a pseudo-blonde, one of whom spoke rather broken Italian. If the desserts are homemade, I'm Santa Claus. Besides, those were the least of the problem, since they tasted good anyway. 🤣 Anyone who had a bad experience and had the courage to write about it was in the "wrong place." Luckily, you went bankrupt, or you would have had to find new answers for the reviews.

10/07/2025: Ordered at 9:20 PM on Deliveroo. At around 11 PM, I received a notification that the order had been cancelled. I called the restaurant to explain, but they didn't answer. Shame on me.

23/09/2025: I happened upon it by chance for work in Codroipo... new rooms, impeccable service, in the village... the bell tower is ringing... 😊

22/08/2025: A great place to stay in a good location. Peace and quiet, with beautiful garden views. A restaurant is on site, and the city center is very close.
