14/03/2026: It's a very suitable venue for large groups and events (weddings, communions, etc.). The food is excellent and the service is discreet. My only complaint is the loud noise in the room. It also has ample indoor parking.

13/03/2026: Very good food, starting with the appetizer, where I already felt full. Afterward, I had pasta; the pasta that day was sedanino, which was very good. As for the service, I have to say it was very good, kind and polite, and quite fast for the number of people there. The atmosphere is lovely, I felt right at home! Rating 9.5/10

06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

02/04/2026: The food was high-quality and truly delicious. The freshly caught fish was expertly filleted right before our eyes, and the dish was explained to us beforehand (due to our limited language skills). We received very friendly service, and the house tiramisu delighted our son. A wonderful restaurant experience.

22/02/2026: Amazing pizza. I'm not a fan of Neapolitan pizza, but their dough made me change my mind. The place is very cute with a metropolitan feel. The pizza chefs work in full view. The staff is young and friendly. I also found the Forst beer selection to be spot on. Pizza and a medium beer are €15. Really competitive with this quality!

08/02/2026: Super good. Top-quality ingredients, carefully selected and respectful of the raw materials. The best pizza I've had in recent years, without hesitation. Pizza seems simple to make, but here you can clearly taste the craftsmanship, the careful selection of ingredients, and a rare professionalism. Every bite reflects study, experience, and passion.

21/02/2026: I ordered delivery and overall the experience was positive. The sandwich was good and well-filled. It arrived a little cold, but considering the distance, that's understandable. Unfortunately, the fries suffered and weren't as crispy as they should be. A less positive note was the chicken popcorn: it was really very salty, definitely too much for me. Overall, a good experience. Delivery was half an hour late, but it's a Saturday night, so I understand.

11/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and the experience was exceptional in every way. The service is impeccable, a special compliment to Andrea, always attentive and helpful. Every dish is carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. A restaurant that exceeds all expectations and I highly recommend it. I can't wait to return!

11/04/2026: As soon as we arrived, the location took our breath away: a view of the sea and mountains in a timeless village, perfect for those seeking tranquility! The menu is extensive, and the dishes exceeded our expectations! Special mention goes to Andrea and Erasmo, the guys in the dining room! We'll be back to try the outdoor terrace too!

09/01/2026: A regular bar where I go with friends, all the waiters are friendly. Especially Francesco, he's a good friend now!

31/12/2025: Today, craving some good ice cream, we went in for the first time. We ordered a large cone and a yogurt... the €5.50 large cone was comparable to a €2.50 cone. A mini spoonful of chocolate was added to the €3.50 yogurt, not to mention the kindness and friendliness of the sales assistant!!!!!! I strongly advise against it, we will never return!!!!!

07/04/2026: For the aperitif, it's top, they bring a lot of appetizers especially towards the evening and they are the best 3 euros and 50 spent in the nearby bars, in winter there are heaters and they are turned on if you ask the waiters, the waiters are fast and very kind toppp
