31/12/2025: Four Spritzes, three dry pastries, one slice of cake, and one orange juice for €75. This was crazy, a completely unjustifiable and unmarketable price. The quality was average, but certainly nothing to justify such a price. The lady at the cashier was also annoyed because we wanted to split the bill (by card, therefore with two separate transactions). Never again.

30/12/2025: Beautiful, clean place with super-friendly staff. The desserts are a feast for the eyes and the palate. Some are famous because they're on TV, and then there are master confectioners like Pepe who are equally impressive. I forgot, the coffee is excellent too.

24/05/2025: A pleasant discovery in the historic center of Eboli, a pleasant little place with a very clean environment, excellent service, very good sandwiches and exceptional bruschetta, the waiters were very kind. The cashier was also friendly, excellent value for money.

06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

11/10/2025: Very good pizza and calzone and very good service. We stopped by during our honeymoon trip and were served by a super friendly Argentine waitress with beautiful tattoos. Thank you very much for everything.

11/11/2025: This restaurant saved me from the salty European food cravings on humid days!! The food was just the right amount of salt and delicious. In Europe, we often eat outside on terraces, so it was unfamiliar, but fun! 😆

01/11/2025: Very bad experience in this restaurant. Staff not serious, we didn't receive what we have ordered and the waiter said just after "sorry we don't have what you want so we replace by this"... And at the next table an old guy was smoking. My wife had the smoke coming to her during the time we were eating. Even the next table complained... Horrible experience despite the sun and the sea.

29/12/2025: Seaside restaurant that serves everything anchovies! Absolutely fantastic. Had 4 anchovie courses for lunch and each one was gastronomic experience. Must see!!! Parking is an issue, our driver dropped us off in front of restaurant otherwise have to park 1/2 mile away

05/01/2026: It's a very suitable venue for large groups and events (weddings, communions, etc.). The food is excellent and the service is discreet. My only complaint is the loud noise in the room. It also has ample indoor parking.

31/12/2025: My dream 18th birthday party! I celebrated on December 30, 2025. The staff was perfect, especially Mr. Massimiliano, who was incredibly kind and available to meet our every need. He was very knowledgeable, and the decor was fabulous. The owner, Antonio, and his father were equally friendly and approachable, and they have an excellent rapport with their guests; it felt like we were talking to dear friends. Everything was perfect.

02/01/2026: We popped in for lunch during our scooter tour of the Amalfi coast. We both ordered and really enjoyed the Chicken Caesar Salad. I think it was good value for money, and the service was spot on.

31/12/2025: Today, craving some good ice cream, we went in for the first time. We ordered a large cone and a yogurt... the €5.50 large cone was comparable to a €2.50 cone. A mini spoonful of chocolate was added to the €3.50 yogurt, not to mention the kindness and friendliness of the sales assistant!!!!!! I strongly advise against it, we will never return!!!!!

01/02/2026: I visited this pizzeria with a group on a Saturday evening, and although it was crowded, the atmosphere was overall comfortable. We sat down for the first round, and the service was quite quick. The fried foods, especially the chips and the cacio e pepe frittatina, were very good. As for the pizzas, I tried the Sauna Calabra, which I found to be truly delicious and balanced: the spiciness was well-balanced, the salami flavorful but not overly salty, and the tomato sauce wasn't at all acidic. The 3 Voglie pizza was also good, although the only flaw was the yellow tomato sauce, which was a bit too sweet and tended to tire the palate. The merits of both pizzas go to the thin, crispy, and light dough. Personally, I don't like overly soft doughs that cause the toppings to fall out, but in this case, the slice remained perfectly composed. The real surprise, however, was the dessert. The French croissant was 10/10: buttery enough, crispy on the outside, and incredibly light, accompanied by equally good cream fillings. I also tried the cheesecake cookie, but it didn't quite live up to the croissant. With prices definitely within the norm, under €20 per person, I'd definitely return to try other pizza options.

20/01/2026: The pizza was average; I wasn't thrilled. It took about 29 minutes to get to the table, and at one point, while my wife was still eating dessert, they asked us to vacate the table. I didn't complain because we were guests of a customer. It's an experience I definitely won't repeat.

29/12/2025: A small, modern café overlooking Piazza Amendola, one of Battipaglia's key squares. Its simple decor offers limited seating inside, but guests can also sit outside if the weather permits. The breakfast selection is varied, and the coffee is good, always served with a delicious biscuit with a delightful aftertaste. The service is very friendly and professional.

19/11/2025: "Bar Cerasella" is a real gem in Piazza Amendola in Battipaglia! Breakfast was exceptional: a wonderful, creamy, and perfectly prepared cappuccino, accompanied by an indescribably delicious honey and cereal croissant (fragrant, light, and generously filled). The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, made so by the people who run it. Congratulations ❤️

16/12/2025: Excellent pizzeria with a fantastic terrace in the summer. The owner, Mimmo, is sincere and friendly. Always open even in the winter, which is a big plus in this area. Good wood-fired pizzas and good food.
