27/07/2025: I'm not in the habit of leaving bad reviews, but in this case I just can't help it. Starting with the room, which was a bit dirty, and the bathroom had a major shower drain problem! We went downstairs for breakfast the next morning, and the short brunette gave us a really rude response! The service was appalling, and the staff needs to be more careful with their manners! The only saving grace was the location, but for €180 a night, we're really out of our minds!

20/07/2025: The hotel is literally steps from the sea, in a quiet area surrounded by greenery. The hotel has a partnership with a lovely beach club (entrance, two sun loungers and an umbrella, plus basic amenities for €25) and offers paid parking. The staff is friendly and welcoming, accommodating guests' needs and clearly providing all the necessary information. The room is clean, with a bathroom equipped with soap, towels, and a hairdryer. Minor improvements could be made to soundproofing and installing window shades, as some rooms are directly exposed to the morning sun. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, with sweet and savory options, buffalo yogurt, and more. Overall, we enjoyed a seaside stay immersed in total tranquility. We will definitely return.

23/08/2025: We stopped for lunch on Saturday. The atmosphere was a normal trattoria. The service was good, with reasonable wait times; we ate within an hour. I must say, I enjoyed the food; the mussels were good, and I especially appreciated the seafood casserole, which was truly tasty. If you want to spend less than the average in Amalfi, I recommend trying them. Spaghetti a vongola is €16, and I think it's the only one in Amalfi. Congratulations!

20/08/2025: Fantastic views and wonderful food, let down badly by very slow drinks service and exceptionally poor bill organisation. Took over an hour to sort out our bill.

06/04/2025: The reception room is a spectacle. The hotel is only acceptable because the rooms are clean and renovated. For breakfast honestly better at the bar.

06/08/2025: Everything was simply fantastic; from the welcome to the friendliness, attention to detail always makes the difference! With the food, what can I say? Even if you really wanted to find fault, you couldn't find one! The tartare was incredible! The location is new and truly beautiful! 5 🌟

15/08/2025: A historic pastry shop in Salerno, you can find any dessert you desire here, and it's always of the highest quality. I find the Apolline to be the best, but you can't go wrong with profiteroles or lemon delights either. Highly recommended.

22/06/2025: It is one of the best pastry shops in Salerno. The assortment of sweets is vast and the owners are very kind, always smiling, despite the long lines of customers waiting on Sundays. I recommend trying the baba which is truly unmissable.

16/07/2025: Very nice hotel, beautifully decorated, perfect cleanliness, excellent location between Amalfi and Positano, on the main street with parking which is very important.

01/07/2025: Stay away from this hotel. They take advantage of tourist by overcharging and adding false fees to your room stay. Additionally, it’s dangerous located on a busy road around a blind turn, I was nearly run over several times attempting to cross the stress. The food is overpriced and below average.

04/08/2025: ieri sono stata alla tenuta dopo un a giornata di mare e caldo terribile, ma il budino e il plumcake mi hanno rimesso in pace con l'universo...buonissimo il budino e delizioso il plumcake....andate non rimarrete delusi...

02/08/2025: Caseificio, yogurteria e forno dai sapori unici! Una sosta è obbligatoria. Purtroppo la mozzarella è talmente buona che va via subito! Consigliabile prenotarla per telefono.

28/07/2025: Great place, a little pricey but worth it. Wide selection of beers, including vintage ones. Excellent fries. Average sandwiches. Anyway, it's worth a visit, if only to see the cybernetic waiter in action, so I encourage you to check out the video and photos.

21/06/2025: Qué increíble experiencia fue, superó con creces mis expectativas. Fuimos a una clase de cocina y cata de vinos y la familia no podría haber sido mejor. Eran tan cálidos e invitando me recordó a mis cenas dominicales de la infancia. Nos alojamos en la costa de Amalfi y tomamos un taxi acuático a la hermosa ciudad de Maiori. Nuestro anfitrión, Aurelio, nos recogió en la ciudad y nos llevó al viñedo. Nos llevó a un breve recorrido por el viñedo y nos enseñó la historia de la propiedad, las vides y los vinos que se elaboraban a partir de las diferentes uvas. Una vez hecho el recorrido, nos trajeron a la zona del comedor donde conocimos a María (su madre) , su padre, y su hermana (mis disculpas por no recordar sus nombres) entonces fue correcto trabajar. Comenzamos con un aperitivo de salami fresco y queso y luego cocinamos carrozzo de berenjena con berenjena fresca de su jardín. El segundo plato fue lingüina casera con salsa de albahaca de tomate. Hicimos la pasta fresca con huevos de las gallinas de la propiedad, y la salsa con tomates y albahaca de su jardín. ¡EL MEJOR QUE HE TENIDO! Habíamos maridado cada plato con el vino recomendado y todo lo que perfeccionamos, terminamos comprando un estuche mixto para ser enviado de vuelta a casa. Terminamos la comida con un poco de Limoncello casero que Aurelio tuvo la amabilidad de compartir la receta con nosotros, luego nos llevó de regreso a Maiori donde tomamos el taxi acuático de regreso a nuestro hotel. Qué día tan increíble, no podíamos dejar de sonreír. En mi próxima visita a la región sin duda volveré a visitar Basileo!
