28/03/2026: This restaurant is located in the heart of Salerno's historic center. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is attentive and genuine. We ordered the mixed antipasto platter consisting of four small courses, which I found delicious, even if the portions were a bit small. The penne allo scarpariello and the risotto were also very good and plentiful.
The grilled calamari was incredibly fresh and tender.
The bill was reasonable.

11/01/2026: Thank you.....I ordered two cakes to celebrate my 60th birthday at two different parties. They were magnificent, beautiful, and delicious. Thank you for fulfilling my wishes. The Pavlova cake (the only cake shop I contacted in Salerno that made it) and the Black Forest cake were sublime. Thanks again.

20/03/2026: Strange place, it looks nice but better don't go there as a tourist unless you know what you are doing, there is no menu, no clear prices advertised and staff hardly speaks english.... Suspicious of tourist scams as I am we left before ordering. (Didn't say it is a scam but it certainly felt like one)
05/01/2026: Unfortunately the staff there is as intelligent as their bread. Once again, they thought they are smart and can rob the tourist. They charged us double the amount for everything, and I noticed after seing their prices. What a shame and shameless act, representative of their ways

22/11/2025: Terrible experience at this Conad Superstore.
The staff was rude and arrogant, as if providing information or simply doing their job was a burden. Zero customer service and very little desire to work.
Not even a greeting at the entrance or at the checkout.
15/11/2025: If you don't want someone to break into your car in the parking lot, don't go there, I found quite a few car lock cylinders as well as the lock from my vehicle, all of which resulted in a police report!

17/04/2026: Terrible service from the buffet manager...nice hotel but the staff's attitude is a shame
12/04/2026: Many complain that the hotel isn't a 4-star, perhaps so, but I don't think that's the biggest problem. The rooms are large and very clean, perhaps a bit lacking in routine maintenance.
It has a spectacular view and is centrally located.
But in my opinion, the worst thing about this hotel is the breakfast. I've never seen such a terrible breakfast, from the unset tables to the truly awful products served. I've never seen such a low-quality breakfast. Croissants look like they were baked three weeks ago, coffee that tastes like anything but coffee. The girls are always very kind. I'm sorry to give it a low rating because the place is worth more, but you can't serve breakfast like this, and definitely not with these products!

19/09/2025: I sat outside and planned to spend a lot of money on snacks and drinks while my wife explored the area and shopped. The problem was no one working here was interested in providing service to their patrons. You get one initial visit for your order while sitting at an outside table. Both girls we originally interacted with seemed uninterested and annoyed by us. Later, after waiting and waiting with a glass that was empty for some time, I saw one male server smoking at the entrance. He never glanced at the table area. His focus was his cigarette, his phone, and people passing by. About 10 minutes later, I noticed another male server smoking at the cafe entrance. I raised my hand politely to try and get his attention. He mockingly waved back and acted put out by my gesture. I asked him if I needed to go inside if I needed something else. He confirmed and acted annoyed that I would bother him with such a silly question.
Don’t waste your money here. The folks working here are not interested in assisting you. They are rude and uninterested. I believe I interacted with four employees and they were all unnecessarily cold and not polite.

13/06/2025: Ich verstehe die teilweise schlechten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht. Das Ristorante ist so sehr typisch italienisch, davon gibt es in Salerno nicht viele. Die Inhaber sind freundlich aber etwas zurückhaltend, das macht sie sehr sympathisch. Außerdem gibt's hier auch die beste Pizza der Stadt. Die anderen Gerichte waren alle sehr gut. Das hausgemachte Tiramisu muss man probiert haben, es ist äußerst lecker und bezahlbar.
Die Einrichtung ist auch landestypisch. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Trubel in der Altstadt, aber dennoch zentral. Es ist ein Muss für jeden Salerno-Besucher!!!!

15/10/2023: Locale appena fuori Salerno sulla strada che porta a Baronissi.
La classica, oramai difficile da trovare, osteria che fa cucina tradizionale salernitana che in più propone carne alla brace.
Pochi piatti ma tutti buoni, non so se periodicamente propongano fuori menù. Altro aspetto spesso sottovalutato: un numero di coperti molto più basso rispetto alla capienza del locale e a giovarne è la qualità della cena in un ambiente estremamente rilassante.
Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile che completa la gradevolezza dell’esperienza culinaria.
04/09/2023: Cucina tradizionale e cordialità, ci siamo passati per caso ma ci torneremo. Ottimo antipasto abbondante e una tagliata spettacolare.

05/01/2025: Sono stata totalmente rapita da questo posticino piccolo ma pieno di amore e passione. Complimenti senza dubbio alla cucina: tutto quello che ho preso era ottimo, dalle bruschette con i moscardini alla grigliata mista, peraltro mai vista una grigliata così ricca da nessuna parte fino ad ora. Un abbraccio forte a Mamma Rosa che con la sua grinta gira per i tavoli e ti fa sentire come se fossi a cena dalla nonna!! Complimenti, tanti e di cuore. Tornerò senza ombra di dubbio.
