01/09/2024: Booked well in advance and requested table on the terrace which was nice. Food was good, but price and special entre was more than most mains and of course you didn't know this, water and wine wasn't always refilled in a timely manner. Declined water and then was asked again and pretty much forced to order 4Euro water, when we had already ordered a full bottle of wine. The most disappointing part of the experience was when paying we were forced to leave a tip with the waiter saying tip cash or card, when we tried to simply pay the bill total the waiter added 10% tip to an already very expensive bill. Considering we had just had dinner at Don Giovanni in positano the night before which had amazing views, no pressure to tip, no water forced or coperto charge was left quite disappointed with the service and the experience at Da Gemma. Next time would try a different restaurant in amalfi.

31/08/2024: We liked it very much, especially because they brought the sea bass after cleaning it, and because of the polite behavior of the waiters, it can definitely be preferred. It is necessary to make a reservation online in advance

16/02/2024: Good management. Excellent service. Improved accommodation and outdoor services. It's still the best in Salerno. I confirm. The belief of being in a familiar place persists. Above average staff. Today I have the same agreements. Improved service with the use of new excellent collaborators.

04/02/2024: Very good seafood , a great surprise I. Life , I don’t give 6 stars because maximum is 5. Enzo was very professional and warm. Don’t forget this place if you go to Amalfi Coast.

12/07/2024: Locale carino al centro della cittadina, con belle sale all'interno e un bel giardino, con piscina e parcheggio. Eccellente il servizio e ottime le pietanze sia di mare che di terra. Il personale è molto cortese e disponibile, in modo particolare il signor Salvatore e il simpatico e responsabile Massimiliano a cui vanno ancora ringraziamenti e saluti da parte del prof. Roberto Ler e famiglia

23/06/2024: Old school, traditional restaurant, The quality of the food is exceptional, the owners Mr. Giovanni and Antonio, are people you would always hug for their love, passion and dedication for a job that requires so many sacrifices. What can we say about the service? Mr. Massimo at the service of the diners is nothing short of exceptional, attentive, professional, truly fantastic. Really compliments, we will definitely come back…

06/07/2024: Excellent coffee and spectacular breakfast pastries. Very good Parisian. Slightly higher prices but worth it. Staff always very friendly

24/06/2024: Bar/stuzzicheria e a pochi passi gelateria, da sempre molto forniti, variegati sia sul dolce che col salato, abbastanza organizzato quanto a personale, ma.. Gelato a peso d'oro, addirittura a prezzi superiori a quelli delle migliori gelaterie di Sorrento, a detta loro artigianale ma con retrogusto di preparato.. La graffa ultimamente la peggiore della mia vita, stra-fritta e stra-unta di olio da farmi sentire male. Un consiglio fraterno, riprendetevi..
