The restaurant is very chic, well-kept, and elegant, while maintaining the spirit of a historic trattoria. The service is fast, friendly, and always available, without ever being intrusive. The cuisine is strongly rooted in local tradition, with well-executed dishes, quality ingredients, and elegant presentations that enhance each course without distorting their flavors. The portions are appropriate, and the cuisine is straightforward, without unnecessary pretension. Overall, a more than positive experience, ideal for a dinner for two. Recommended for those seeking local cuisine, elegance, and an excellent balance between quality and value.

04/12/2025: We ate here twice in the evenings during our holiday. The staff was very friendly and relaxed. The beer is also very good, with something for everyone, from Kölsch to IPA. The food was particularly impressive, with delicious little dishes. The grilled artichoke with hummus was excellent, crispy on the outside like chips, and juicy on the inside. I'd never had anything like it before.

17/10/2025: Highly recommended. Excellent local Matera cuisine served in generous portions. The staff is courteous and professional. The restaurant is elegant, with cloth-lined tables. The terrace overlooking the Sassi is actually a window, but considering the reasonable prices, it's a restaurant worth trying.

06/12/2025: Perfect! A beautiful property in an old building, centrally located, with a view of the Sassi. Comfortable yet luxurious rooms, with attention to every detail. The friendly, helpful manager and staff make you feel at home.

28/10/2025: We just dropped in for an aperitivo on their beautiful terrace overlooking Matera. The service was wonderful and incredibly friendly, and it's worth stopping by. We happened to be there just as the entire city was lighting up, so the view was even more stunning. We recommend the 007 cocktail.

19/01/2026: A fantastic place! Delicious food, wonderful wine, desserts, and the history of Matera displayed in the cellar...an incredible experience! The weather in January wasn't exactly inviting for sitting on the terrace, but it gives us an excuse to return on warmer days!

18/01/2026: A restaurant nestled in the Sassi with a lovely view. In winter, you're covered by a tarp, but the view is still a highlight—if you eat outside, of course. Very good food. Prices are a bit high.

14/02/2026: A sophisticated location, but a little more attention to detail could be appreciated. There's no table service, but orders are taken quickly and courteously. The menu is varied and generally good. Prices are average and in line with the experience offered.

09/02/2026: I was definitely disappointed by the service and the quality of the product. My hot chocolate was overly sweet and runny. At other bars, you can choose between different flavors (dark, orange, black cherry, etc.). At this bar, only the one. What about the service? There's no table service, and I had to carry my tray up the stairs. Papers and other stuff on the floor. I WON'T RETURN.
