10/08/2025: Wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts gleich mehrmals hier essen. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt, auch Vegetarier finden hier eine Auswahl an Speisen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und wir wurden auch gut beraten, als wir uns mal nicht entscheiden konnten. Wir haben uns durch das Personal absolut wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und lädt zum verweilen ein. Auch mit Hund ist man herzlich willkommen, was es für uns optimal gemacht hat.

10/08/2025: This excellent, lake front restaurant/ bar Offers a unique experience with waiters being funny and professional with outstanding service. With food ranging from smoked trout with carbonara source to big juicy beef burgers And for desserts I recommend the the tiramisu what has a creamy inside and a nice chocolaty top or the cookie selection with 5 flavourful cookie balls. The bread is freshly baked and served as a freebie on your table. The drink were amazing they had all sorts of drinks ranging from non- alcoholic cocktails to local larger. The seats range from under the shade to an excellent view with a nice gentle breeze. (Went at lunch)

18/08/2025: BUT NEVER AGAIN, READ THE WHOLE THING!!! We booked for 9:00 PM on August 15th. Due to the chaos, we arrive at 9:40 PM. They seat us at 10:40 PM (but that's not the problem). We order two proseccos, one appetizer, and two mixed fried dishes. The prosecco arrives warm, so we ask for ice. The waiter (or perhaps the owner? Boo) tells us it's wrong to stir the bubbles, so my companion replies that it's equally wrong to serve a warm prosecco. Response? IT'S A LOT IF WE BROUGHT IT TO YOU TONIGHT. And so far, it was still fine. The appetizer was very good. The fried food arrives. Dark and greasy. Bitter as poison. I filled it with lemon, while my companion didn't even want to eat it. When asked for an explanation (again, the waiter) said it was a problem of too many fried foods with the same oil and that it was impossible to change it (because of the chaos? But that's absolutely no excuse, since used oil becomes carcinogenic) and that they couldn't have known the flavor the fried food would acquire until it was fried. So my companion had his takeaway. When they got to the cashier, they charged both. My companion asked for one to be deducted, and so it was. Then the waiter decided to delight us with a pearl. He said he tasted the fried food (and after telling us it had been fried in used oil) and that it was also good. And then, in his own words: NEXT TIME FOR FERRAGOSTO, I RECOMMEND YOU TRY SOMETHING ELSE AND NOT THE FRITTO MISTO. GENTLEMEN, CURTAIN.

05/05/2025: Pranzo del 1 maggio . Locale carino stile medioevale . Accoglienza e staff professionale e cortese . I primi piatti abbondanti , Ho assaggiato i ravioli radicchio e noci molto buoni . Le carni invece non mi hanno soddisfatto . Agnello troppo cotto e arrosticini cotti probabilmente sulla piastra e non sulla carbonella e il gusto non è lo stesso . Molto buono il servizio , attento e veloce .

14/06/2025: En esta maravillosa pastelería, ubicada en el corazón de Cernobbio, a pocos pasos de la lujosa Villa d'Este, podrá encontrar los mejores pasteles, bocadillos dulces y salados, así como diversos alimentos. El personal amable y amable le ayudará a hacer de su desayuno o merienda en el Lago de Como una experiencia inolvidable. ¡Debo intentarlo!

30/04/2025: Buena selección de pastelería y café fuerte. Buen servicio y ubicación es fácil de conseguir también. Pequeño patio exterior. Tuve una gran tostada de aguacate. Cernobbio es una gran zona.

09/08/2025: I ate a scarpariello that was fit for a king. Friendly and very helpful staff. The atmosphere is refined and the outdoor area is very large. Value for money.

08/08/2025: More than a restaurant and a canteen, all the side dishes are frozen, including the cod. What can I say? Perhaps Neapolitans have forgotten what good food is.

22/08/2025: *Edit August 22nd: It's almost 9:00 and the brioche is out. It's embarrassing to have to leave. Let's go to the Chinese place on the corner, it's better. They should have granita. If a customer asks for it and they say, "No, we're not making granita today," it seems like they're not making it out of lack of desire and not for any other reason (maybe it's the mid-August holiday?). At that point, with this heat, you might as well close or let them know. Unfortunately, it's the only granita shop in the area, but I've often had the impression that the management is "Brescia-style." It's a shame because the products and service are good.

16/08/2025: This bar—for that's what it is—is, in my opinion, yet another attempt to exploit Sicilian tradition, claiming to be a "granita shop." However, the granitas (already of questionable quality, and I speak with full knowledge of the facts, being from Catania) are almost always missing, except in very few flavors. We've walked in several times and found the flavors we wanted to order unavailable. On one occasion, I had to opt for another flavor after the girl taking my order told me the chocolate one wasn't available, only to discover, when paying (ten minutes later), that that flavor had just been restocked. But what harm did she have in asking if I was willing to wait a few minutes? The most serious incident, however, occurred on another occasion. We arrived two hours before opening, eager to enjoy a granita, since the other direct competitor (the one in Brescia, which we prefer) was closed for vacation. But inside, there were only three flavors available: almond, lemon, and coffee. We politely asked if other flavors would be brought out. The lady, with a haughty air, replied that she couldn't tell us when or which flavors would be available, saying something like, "I can't tell you when; they're preparing them little by little; there's no point in telling you if it'll take half an hour, an hour, or two!" Not only should a place that calls itself a "granite shop" never have limited granitas available, but the disinterest with which we were dismissed is emblematic of poor customer service. The subtext is, "It doesn't matter if you don't sit down." It would have been enough for the lady—who was certainly not there by chance—to have informed us of the flavors being prepared and asked her colleague how long the wait would be. A gesture of courtesy and thoughtfulness that we would certainly have appreciated, regardless of the outcome. Instead, it seems there's no desire to meet even the minimum service requirements. Unfortunately, this situation is quite common in Brescia. I often encounter situations that have nothing to do with the typical Southern hospitality, like coffee shops that don't serve coffee but only cocktails because they closed the coffee section a minute early (!), bars that won't serve you croissants because it's a minute before opening, supermarkets that won't let you have a bottle of water for the night because they're "closing"... And I could go on and on. When I say "a minute," I mean a minute, without adding or subtracting anything. This rigidity leaves those, like me, accustomed to the flexibility and hospitality typical of the South astounding, not to mention the heart-stopping prices, still disproportionate despite being able to count on more generous wages than those in the South (but this is a systemic problem unique to Italy). In conclusion, a complete fail. Among other things, the granitas they serve are melted and the brioche col tuppo are pale and raw. Only an innocent local could fall for it. Unfortunately, we were just going to settle.

22/07/2025: I've been there for dinner several times, and the service was excellent. The service is very good. I want to highlight the waiter, Axel, and the tall, bearded young man who took our order. The atmosphere is remarkable, with a view of the sea, Capo Taormina. I was lucky enough to see an incredible red moon the first time I went. Excellent place for a variety of occasions, from a date to a family dinner or a private event.

22/07/2025: We arrived a little early to eat pizza on the Granduca terrace, but the pizzeria wasn't open yet. Despite this, the staff was incredibly welcoming: they sat us down anyway and offered us a glass of prosecco while we waited, telling us to enjoy the view. And what a view! The sunset over the bay of Taormina is truly magical. The kindness and courtesy of the entire staff made the evening even more enjoyable. And the pizza? Truly delicious, with a light dough and quality ingredients.

15/06/2025: I ordered an ice cream cake and they put it in the microwave with a spoon dipped in ice cream, and a glass of hot water (I asked for it cold)
