A true throwback. I was expecting Cavour to walk in at any moment for a coffee with Garibaldi. As you can see from the photos, it's a historic establishment and decidedly well restored. We ordered their specialty: coffee with anisette, and it was worth it. A light, not too strong, aniseed flavor pairs beautifully with excellent coffee. An experience not to be missed.

Very nice historic place, good coffee... Terrible service, we waited more than 15 minutes, the place wasn't full and only after asking the staff several times to order did they deign to come.

Years pass, but Caffè Meletti remains one of the most glamorous establishments in Italy! You live in the present, but you're still here. The staff is professional, welcoming, and attentive. They serve top-quality coffee and breakfast, as well as aperitifs, especially those made with Meletti spirits. The prices are exceptional.

Caffè Meletti is a point of reference for me every time I pass through Ascoli Piceno. It's not just a historic café in a stunning location: it's a place with a strong identity, elegant and steeped in history.
Even stopping here for just a coffee has a different meaning, because you feel like you're contributing, in your own small way, to the life and survival of a true cultural monument of the city.
There are places that represent more than just service, but a style, a history, and a soul.
Meletti is one of them.

The interior of the café exudes the charm of its Art Nouveau style.
