19/08/2025: On Sunday evening, returning from the beach, I bought five arancini (two with ragù and peas, and three with ham and mozzarella), one scamorza and salami croquette, potato croquettes for the kids, and a calzone. Excellent value for money. Superlatives, nothing more to add.

20/08/2025: Our group ate a chicken sandwich and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The fries were quite tasty but the bacon cheeseburger didn’t taste that good. On top of that it was not that warm anymore. Worse was only the chicken sandwich because it was really cold and had almost no chicken inside of it.

15/08/2025: This place reminded me of Home. You can only eat so many croissants and other pastries, not that they don't have those here. But this was the BEST breakfast we had in Rome. For us Americans, a yummy breakfast sandwich, or just some eggs, bacon and toast are just what we're looking for.... and this is the place just for that. The atmosphere is modern and cozy. The staff are very friendly. We are here twice for breakfast out of the 3 days we were staying close to the Vatican. 🥰

11/09/2025: Worst experience we’ve had by FAR in Italy. Where do I even start. It was despicable. We were 4 people sitting outside. I took short pasta (they bring me the wrong plate at first, I started eating 15 minutes after everyone). My friend took the lamb. The worst dish of his life. I couldn’t finish the bite. the sauce was despicable. The worst thing I ever tasted. I thew my bite out in a napkin. Couldn’t finish it. The sauce tasted old stuff, we still talk about it in the car on the way home. It was absolutely awful. My fiancé and her sister took the risotto. It was just yellow rice, almost Uncle Ben’s rice from the US. When my pasta finally came, it was as if I made them. And god knows I don’t know a thing about cooking. The sauce was just not good and the pasta were overcooked. I simply couldn’t believe we were eating these meal in Tuscany. Unbelievable. After 3 bites of my plate, we decided to leave. Our plates were full. My friend tried his best to eat the lamb, but the sauce was just unbearable. I’ve got the taste in my mouth as I’m writing these lines. We obviously paid, but truthfully, that was an absolute horror of a night. I absolutely don’t recommend this restaurant, as beautiful as it may seem from the outside.

28/08/2025: Lunch on weekdays they work until 15.00 which is an undoubted plus. There are quite a lot of people. The food is simple, rustic, tasty.

27/07/2025: Excellent food, excellent staff. I've had lunch on the terrace where people smoke in your face: absolutely intolerable. Regulations require a minimum of two meters between tables, and it's up to people's common sense to avoid smoking others. The surrounding restaurants don't have any ashtrays on the terrace; the owner should think about that... He certainly won't lose customers if he takes the ashtrays and throws them in the trash. 18/08/2025: A lovely little spot for an aperitivo or a bite to eat. Excellent cuisine with consistently high-quality flavors. The menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, including stuffed pizza slices, cured meats, and savory croissants. It's hard to stay under €20 on the final bill.

07/07/2025: Reference bar in the southern area of ​​Messina, with seating both inside and outside (in the small square in front). Absolutely worth trying is the "mattonella" ice cream of various flavors (the kiss one, in my opinion is the best), but also the vast choice of granitas with cream and brioche...

17/08/2025: I've been going to this bar since I was little, and over the years I've seen several changes. Today I had a brioche with gelato: the brioche was very soft and delicious, as only they know how. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the way the gelato was served. The scoops were way too small, and even worse, the girl serving kept dipping the scoop into a glass of dirty water, without draining it thoroughly. This was unhygienic and potentially dangerous, and in my opinion, it should be corrected immediately. Furthermore, the brioche was practically empty: at other bars in the area, I'm used to receiving a much more generously filled one. A real shame, because the quality of the brioche deserves much better, but hygiene and service absolutely need to be improved.

15/08/2025: For years, I've been stopping by every Sunday and holiday to get sweets, ice cream, etc. Today, a total disappointment. Cream puffs covered in worms. Disgusting.

31/08/2025: It is a nice coffee shop but it was kinda jarring to have had to pay 0.50 for a glass of water... I just needed to wash up the coffee and take my meds, should have I said tap water ?

06/09/2025: On the recommendation of acquaintances, we dined here on a warm August evening. The location is wonderful, set on the shore of a small lake, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant and romantic; it feels like stepping back in time. The food didn't impress us; no dishes were noteworthy or particularly recommended.

05/09/2025: One of the very few restaurants where seafood, meat, and pizza are equally excellent! The attentive and welcoming owners are this restaurant's second strong point, after the excellent quality of the food. A very beautiful and unique location!

09/09/2025: What can I say? Everything was perfect. I spent two peaceful days there. For work, I travel around a lot of hotels, and what I want is clean sheets, a good room, and a good restaurant. Here, I found all of this. The staff was impeccable, incredibly friendly, and the location in the hills is fantastic. I was there for work and promised myself I'd return with my wife. Thank you for everything.

24/08/2025: We went in the evening just for dinner, and I must say we left satisfied. A pleasant location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, tasty starters, and equally delicious desserts. The place is well signposted from the main road.
