13/11/2025: Polenta soggy, carbonara made with bacon. Overpriced. Menu with 3 Italian dishes. I was hungry so I was not looking at the menu before sitting. Location great. I am not going back.

11/11/2025: Excellent food and atmosphere. Definitely eat inside to avoid the nearly 99% of people smoking in the outdoor seating areas. Added bonus if you happen to visit during an Italy football/soccer match like we did. :-)

12/05/2025: Conseillé par notre hôtel, nous sommes rendus dans ce restaurant et franchement l’accueil est vraiment à revoir, restaurant froid et la nourriture n’est pas franchement excellente et surtout les proportions dans les assiettes sont ridicules

03/06/2025: Il Corona per me il miglior ristorante della zona. Sabato abbiamo cenato fuori sulla terrazzetta nella bellissima location. Personale gentilissimo e molto attento ai dettagli. Menù spettacolare: grande scelta di ottimi antipasti, carne squisita, e…..le acciughe fritte fantastiche. Grande scelta dei vini grazie anche alla loro fornitissima cantina con acquisti anche online. Il mio posto del cuore.

24/04/2025: Viaggio di piacere, su consiglio della proprietaria del B&B siamo stati a cena in questo grazioso ristorante. Atmosfera rilassante e cordiale. Piatti gustosi e curati. Servizio ottimo. Cantina dei vini molto fornita e di ottima qualità. Prezzo un po’ più alto della norma.

19/10/2025: We arrived at 1.30pm, we had 2 starters and we ordered 3 first courses. At 3.20pm we were still waiting so we went to the cashier, paid 36 euros and left.

18/09/2025: The food was excellent, the clams were delicious, the porcini mushrooms were superb, and everything was excellent. They're very friendly, but they should improve the environment, which is very neglected. It's a shame, especially since it's so green and in a lovely location.

10/07/2025: Mange dejlige retter på menukortet og vores oplevelse blev ødelagt lidt af, at personalet havde meget travlt og ikke var særligt servicemindede. Vi ventede meget længe på at få regning og ville egentlig have haft dessert, men blev aldrig spurgt.

07/06/2025: L'interno del locale è molto carino. Le pizze le abbiamo mangiare giusto perché eravamo affamati. Il dolce, uno strudel, per nulla all'altezza con decorazione di panna che non sapeva di nulla. Il personale? Pessimo.

27/08/2025: A beautiful and relaxing day, immersed in nature, among woods and meadows. Some of the installations along the trail could use some better maintenance, but the kids had a blast visiting the elves' houses. And after the trail, you arrive at the beautiful paradise cabin, where you can relax and eat, even to the sound of music.

25/11/2025: My wife and I stopped for a quick stop on the way home, thinking we'd be quick since there was almost no one in the dining room. But after taking our order, the waiter stopped to say hello and chat with some other people who seemed like friends who had arrived in the meantime. After a while, he remembered us and asked us to reorder because he'd forgotten the dishes we'd ordered. After finally receiving our dishes, my wife asked for salt, which never arrived! Another customer near our table, having received the same treatment, commented, "I'm getting up and leaving now!" We asked for the bill at the cash register without even ordering coffee because, given the previous situation, we probably would have had to wait another hour!

23/11/2025: Average food, but terrible service. We waited a long time when we arrived because the older waiter was busy chatting with other people. After eating the first course, we waited over an hour before being asked to order the second course again. When the second course finally arrived, I asked for lemon, but it was never brought. A disappointing experience.

14/11/2025: On the beach at Poetto, simple and friendly. I had a lunchtime snack, relaxed and satisfied. Many beautiful cats roamed the terrace. A quiet place—at least in this season—that evokes old-world atmospheres.

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.

20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

21/09/2025: The place is beautiful and quaint, the dishes are refined and delicious, the only real flaw is that the service was extremely slow. We ordered the first course at 1:00 PM and ate two courses in an hour and a half. Finally, we ordered dessert and coffee, but after a 20-minute wait, we forgot about dessert and waited another 15 minutes for coffee. Two hours is definitely too long to eat two courses. This is why it's given a one-star review. Plus, you can't pay by credit card, only cash. I can't recommend the place.

15/08/2025: The single star is due to a single incident that I find particularly unpleasant. Even on the phone (for dinner), the lady specifically stated...cash payments ONLY... I don't think it's a coincidence, but rather a standard practice (confirmed by a friend who was there for lunch on a weekday). I don't think this is acceptable in 2025; the option of electronic payment must be guaranteed.

20/09/2025: Terrible welcome from the staff, if you don't agree with the wonderbox policy, don't join, or don't pass people off as beggars, because that's how you treated us... it's not our fault if you made sure I came on Saturday, you confirmed it to me on the day... we won't be back anymore... don't worry

15/07/2025: Extremely disappointing food experience. The food tries to be sophisticated and unique, but unfortunately, the taste is so poor that it’s nearly inedible. It's really upsetting, especially considering that hotel guests don’t have other dining options on-site. To find alternative restaurants, you have to leave the property via funicular, which is inconvenient.
