16/05/2025: We had a great evening. We ate well. The beef carpaccio was delicious as a starter, the fried fish was excellent, and the chocolate cake was delicious as a finish. Nothing to complain about, the food was very good. Bravo to the chef. Very good wine selection. The waitress is fantastic; she gave excellent recommendations for the starters, main courses, and wine. Always smiling and professional. A beautiful place, we ate by the pool. A must-do again and again.

12/03/2025: Historic bar in the town, which has not lost its identity in the transition to current management. Lisa and Ping are wonderful, the kindness and courtesy that distinguishes them make this place ideal for an evening with friends.

09/02/2025: Town bar & tobacconist run by friendly and "homely" Chinese, wide choice of wines, sprizzes and the famous "house aperitif" as well as ice creams both packaged or in trays with cones. Superenalotto games and similar games. Difficulty in accessing disabled people with wheelchairs because there are 3 steps to enter. Externally there are chairs and tables to accommodate approximately 10/12 people. Nearby there is a square with the church which is worth a visit and the historic "pass" on the Livenza river.

17/02/2025: Analogamente ai nostri amici, a noi piace molto sperimentare e in questo caso abbiamo scelto questo caratteristico ristorante eritreo (peraltro non l'unico in via Melzo, ne abbiamo visto un altro poco prima, sullo stesso lato della medesima strada). L'ambiente appare alquanto nuovo, probabile frutto di una radicale ristrutturazione recente, e di distingue in ogni piacevole dettaglio per lo stile di ambientazione, arredi e suppellettili. Vi sono alcuni tavoli normali ma a noi ne hanno assegnato uno di quelli tondi, bassi e piccoli, abbinati a sedie di foggia tipica e con gambe più corte dello standard mondiale: la combinazione, per quanto originale, a me è risultata parecchio scomoda. Per fortuna c'erano due tavolini di servizio più piccoli dove abbiamo potuto appoggiare bevande e altro. Ancor meno agevole è stato dover "reimparare" a mangiare con le mani, facendo attenzione a non sporcare troppo né il pavimento né i pantaloni. Il cibo, seppur limitato nella sua varietà, lo abbiamo apprezzato molto: oltre agli sfiziosi antipasti, disponibili nelle versioni carne e vegetariana, abbiamo attinto tutti da un solo grande vassoio, con al centro la carne e intorno verdure ed altre specialità difficili da identificare a causa dell'abbondanza di spezie che rende piuttosto uniformi i sapori. Per rendere meno problematico afferrare i bocconi ci si aiuta con una sorta di sfoglia molliccia che sostituisce il pane, la stessa sulla quale è adagiato il piatto unico comune. A fine pasto, dopo aver imbrattato perbene il tovagliolo, ho sentito il bisogno di andare in bagno a lavarmi le mani per completare l'opera. La cena è stata abbondante e non siamo riusciti a finire la seconda portata (di pollo) che peraltro non avevamo ordinato e il conto finale è stato adeguato rispetto al cibo e alle bevande consumate.

02/02/2025: MANGIATO BENE ,ottimo zighini con ingera, bevuto birra, dolce alvah. Serata discreta. Prezzo troppo alto per quello che abbiamo mangiato.

12/06/2025: Muy baja calidad de los ingredientes excepto la carbonara, la salsa del risoto de mar sabe al tomate más barato de tu supermercado. El tratar con trufa y queso no me ha gustado nada. Habiéndo conudo en más de 15 restaurantes ha sido en el que más extranjera me sentido. Estaba tan defraudada que no tenía ganas de probar postre. Además es caro. The ingredients were very low quality, except for the carbonara. The seafood risotto sauce tasted like the cheapest tomato sauce you'd find at your local supermarket. I didn't like the truffle and cheese treatment at all. Having tried more than 15 restaurants, this was the one where I felt most like a foreigner. I was so disappointed that I didn't want to try dessert. It's also expensive.

27/05/2025: Caffè specialty, bakery di qualità e menu da moderno bistrot. In più lo location che vince a mani basse. Terrazza rilassante e piano intermedio molto molto carino. Buono l’hamburger, i toast, le uova ma i piatti alla terrazza purtroppo arrivano freddi. Una pecca che fa il paio con la troppa velocità con cui i ragazzi “sparecchiano” per far posto ad altre prenotazioni… anche no.

27/05/2025: Il posto è carino e il cibo di qualità, ma la scelta è molto limitata e soprattutto focalizzata su portate tipo omlette, uova strapazzate e hamburger. Limitata anche la scelta dei dolci.

22/09/2024: Spécialités Sardes et méditerranéennes. Très bon,accueillant et familial. Voilà un restaurant enfin qui propose plusieurs spécialités sardes de terre et de mer. Il y en a pour tous les goûts et c’est excellent. De l’entrée au dessert, vous ne serez pas déçus avec un service chaleureux et rapide. le patron vient même faire le tour des tables pour vérifier que tout va bien. Nous nous sommes régalés de plusieurs spécialités en toute simplicité et surtout fait maison Les culurgiones qui sont un type de raviolis fourrés à plusieurs fromages avec une délicieuses sauce. Le frigo misto qui est tendre,moelleux et léger. En dessert, les petits raviolis fourrés à la ricotta citron que vous pouvez manger avec du miel ou du sucre, ainsi que les Seades qui sont aussi deux spécialités de la Sardaigne. Pour le prix, un petit peu plus élevé que la moyenne. Mais étant donné que c’était excellent beaucoup fait maison nous y sommes revenus plusieurs fois pour goûter à tout ce que nous faisait envie et on n’a pas été déçus. Nous y reviendrons dès que nous retournerons dans la région .

From the moment I entered, the welcoming atmosphere and the touch of elegance of the place immediately won me over. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who knew how to recommend the dishes with great expertise. A big praise goes to the carbonara, which I had the pleasure of tasting. The pasta was cooked to perfection, al dente, and the sauce was a sublime balance of flavors. The egg cream married magnificently with the crispy guanciale, creating a rich and enveloping dish that celebrates the Italian culinary tradition. Every bite was a triumph of flavor! After the first course, I decided to end the dinner with a coffee, and here C'era Una Volta truly exceeded all expectations. The coffee was served with a selection of three different sugars, an original idea that made the moment even more special. This little detail made the experience not only delicious, but also interactive, allowing me to customize my coffee to my taste. 13/05/2025: Ci passo tutte le volte che vengo a Palau in vacanza....sempre una certezza! uno dei pochi ristoranti in zona che utilizza Pesce Fresco, che produce pane, che realizza piatti della tradizione con un tocco di modernità. Elogio a tutto il menù...obbligatorio assaggiare il mix di antipasti (consiglio quello con più portate). Complimenti Francesco

03/06/2025: Il Corona per me il miglior ristorante della zona. Sabato abbiamo cenato fuori sulla terrazzetta nella bellissima location. Personale gentilissimo e molto attento ai dettagli. Menù spettacolare: grande scelta di ottimi antipasti, carne squisita, e…..le acciughe fritte fantastiche. Grande scelta dei vini grazie anche alla loro fornitissima cantina con acquisti anche online. Il mio posto del cuore.

24/04/2025: Viaggio di piacere, su consiglio della proprietaria del B&B siamo stati a cena in questo grazioso ristorante. Atmosfera rilassante e cordiale. Piatti gustosi e curati. Servizio ottimo. Cantina dei vini molto fornita e di ottima qualità. Prezzo un po’ più alto della norma.
