14/03/2026: Perfect dinner. Thai with a nod to Piedmont! I started with a Chardonnay, Le Masche, and beer, accompanied by carefully cleaned tempura prawns. The well-made Thai rice and tajarin with salmon sauce cooked in coconut milk and turmeric were delicious. Then came a tuna tonkatsu, and finally, homemade local desserts. Welcoming atmosphere, great music, and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

14/03/2026: Very disappointing.
We ordered the mixed fried baby octopus and calamari. There was no calamari, only baby octopus.
I ordered the gnocchi with shrimp and burrata. I received three shrimp and half a burrata. What can I say?
We were served the appetizer before our drinks. For the price, don't go! Only the location is worth it.

26/01/2026: This is our third time at this restaurant, and it has undoubtedly become our favorite in Trieste.
Excellent quality products, cooked with great flavor and respect for the ingredients.
A variety of dishes, each one better than the last.
Excellent atmosphere and service: we always love the quiet and elegant atmosphere. Although some soft music or jazz would be even better, as it's often too quiet.
Excellent value for money!
18/10/2025: We did not have a good experience dining here (although we love the hotel!) . The restaurant was a big disappointment and we felt like we wasted a precious vacation dinner! The food was okay (but nothing special - no “wow” factor ). The service was unfriendly and inattentive. The ambience was a bit dry and stuffy. With so many amazing restaurants in the area I can’t imagine anyone dining here unless they were like us and did not know better!

03/02/2026: The food is good, but not worth the price. We opted for the party menu and paid €35 per person for just appetizers and main courses. The owner is rude; we made requests for the dining room, and he responded rudely and inhospitablely. I wouldn't return.

The dishes were delicious and plentiful, and the wait staff was professional despite the chaotic atmosphere.
Highly recommended!

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.
20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

13/09/2025: A wonderful stay at the Hotel Quasar! The food was excellent and freshly prepared. I'd especially like to mention our hosts, Isidoro and Anna – incredibly warm, attentive, and always there with a smile. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The hotel's location is also ideal – close to the action, yet quiet. We'd love to come back!

15/12/2025: Beautiful location with a dream park. Excellent service. My partner and I had a vegan/vegetarian dinner and everything was truly delicious. Chef Tommaso is excellent, he knows how to manage customers and cooks to perfection. Highly recommended.

28/03/2026: A welcoming, family-friendly place, with kind and helpful staff. The grill is a 10/10, with an excellent variety of meats, cooked to perfection.
They also have a wide selection of beers. It was recommended, and I can say the beer was very good.
We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.
