22/07/2025: Attracted by an event organized as "Paella and Sangria" we participated in four; the food was satisfactory but at the time of paying the surprise: the advertised price of 20 euros per person, sangria included, had become 25 euros, that is 25% more. A protest email with a request for compensation for the amount unduly paid had no response, neither reimbursement nor any form of justification. I would say two visits in one, the first and the last. The location is fantastic, on the sixth floor of the Westin Excelsior Hotel, where the 360° view of Florence offers a breathtaking panorama! Refined, top-quality cuisine. Impeccable service and extremely friendly staff. At the end of the dinner, they brought us pastries with "Happy Anniversary" written on them, which we really appreciated! It's not an "everyday" restaurant, but it's definitely one of those places I recommend trying at least once in your life!

The savory snacks, appetizers, peach gelato samples, and the house-made pastries were appreciated. The dishes are generally well-prepared and made with carefully selected ingredients. It's a shame about the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, which lacks both flavor and aroma... I was a bit disappointed, to be honest. The meat and vegetables are excellent. Prices are moderately high, but considering the attention to detail mentioned above, they're manageable.

I'd especially like to mention our hosts, Isidoro and Anna – incredibly warm, attentive, and always there with a smile. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The hotel's location is also ideal – close to the action, yet quiet. We'd love to come back!
