14/02/2025: Nice place. There is a children's menu: Margherita pizza with eyes and nose. In the evening there may be a small crowd at the entrance. I recommend the mussels. Spaghetti is also very tasty. The portions are large.

10/10/2024: Un locale dove l'attenzione e la cortesia, sono di casa, la cameriera Erica in particolare veramente cortese, ottimo e abbondante il cibo, squisito il fritto misto, molto buoni gli spaghetti al nero di seppia e alle vongole, il rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono siamo stati veramente bene. Soddisfatti!!!

07/02/2025: Este restaurante fue recomendado por nuestro gondolero. Parecen muchos restaurantes venecianos inteligentes, pero la comida, el servicio y el ambiente superaron nuestras expectativas en una ciudad de renombre por la comida mediocre cara. Los platos destacados fueron la pasta casera de tonnarelli con mariscos y una exquisita lingüina de cangrejo. El restaurante estaba lleno, pero era manejado por un atento maestro y su amable equipo. Este fue con mucho el mejor restaurante en el que hemos estado en nuestros viajes a Venecia y el paseo en góndola de 80 € resultó ser dinero bien gastado.

03/02/2025: Tuvimos una noche maravillosa con excelente comida. El restaurante ofrece auténtica cocina italiana, genuina, honesta y llena de sabor. El servicio era bueno, aunque un poco reservado, que sin embargo se adaptó bien al ambiente. En general, estábamos muy satisfechos y volveríamos encantados!

25/06/2024: Risotto and wagyu steak were delicious. The atmosphere is also great!! The staff were friendly There was dessert in the room, so I didn't order a course meal. We also provided appetizers and a simple dessert. It may have been given to me originally, but it was so delicious. I'll never forget my last night's meal in Venice.

22/11/2024: Been there twice in September. Simply disappointing to eat pizza. First time pizza relatively tasteless and dry. Second attempt pizza a little better but still weak for a pizza in Italy. Maybe it was a weak week, I have no idea. At least for me it is not recommended for pizza eaters.

19/02/2025: Excellent, on Gianvito's advice we ate an exquisite hot seafood appetizer. Canestrelli, scallops, sea lions, canoe, crostini with red snapper, polenta and stewed cuttlefish, grilled tuna, scampi in tempura, octopus and calamari, all deliciously prepared and plated with care, followed by a plate of tagliolini with delicate and super good scampi cream. We concluded with the "crostoli", a typical dessert of the carnival period prepared by Mrs. Katia. Good coffee. Experience to be repeated. I don't drink wine but I noticed very important labels. Advised

Nestled on the Grand Canal, between Ca' D' Oro and Venice's iconic Rialto Bridge, the 5-star Ca' Sagredo Hotel exudes old-world charm. Housed in a stunning 14th-century palace, once the residence of one of Venice's most cultured noble families, the hotel is a proud member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection. Its 67 elegantly decorated rooms and suites reflect the building's rich history and Venetian allure. During my stay, I was assigned a Sagredo Double room, which is the entry-level category. The carpeted Sagredo Double rooms include a comfortable double bed, a small flat-screen TV, a desk, two reading chairs, and a spacious built-in closet. However, the room felt quite dark due to its single narrow window. Although the room was immaculately clean, some furnishings showed signs of age. Housekeeping is conducted twice daily, though the turndown service lacked the thoughtful touches of water and chocolates. No welcome amenities were provided upon arrival. The en-suite marble bathroom featured a single washbasin, a bathtub/shower combination with a rain showerhead, an integrated toilet with a bidet, a towel warmer, and bespoke toiletries crafted in Italy specifically for the hotel. Despite requesting a room with a view during booking and the hotel being nearly empty during my stay, my first-floor room faced the side street and hotel entrance. Undoubtedly, better views are available in other rooms. The Ca' Sagredo Hotel's marble staircase, designed by Tirali and adorned with a fresco by Pietro Longhi, stands as a breathtaking example of Venetian craftsmanship and elegance, enhancing the hotel's historical charm and romantic ambiance. The second floor boasts magnificent wall paintings, including frescoes by Pietro Longhi and landscapes with ruins and hunting scenes by Andrea Urbani, complemented by stucco work and Murano glass chandeliers. A simple breakfast buffet is served in the second-floor breakfast rooms, with additional hot dishes beyond scrambled eggs and bacon available from the à la carte menu, though these are not included in the price. The service is reserved and friendly. The Music Hall, also known as the Sala della Musica, offers perfect acoustics, 18th-century trompe l'oeil paintings by Gaspare Diziani, gilt bronze chandeliers, and frescoes depicting elegant rituals, making it a popular venue for events or weddings. Although the Grande Canale Restaurant was closed during my stay, it is renowned for offering a fine dining experience with a focus on authentic Venetian cuisine. Meanwhile, Bar L'incontro provides a cozy setting for savoring Italian aperitifs, wines, and cocktails. In summary, the Ca' Sagredo Hotel, with its historic palace grandeur, artistic treasures, and spacious rooms, lacks attention to detail and warm service. Nonetheless, if reasonably priced, it remains a solid option among pricier five-star properties, thanks to its excellent Grand Canal location.

15/03/2025: I had dinner last night with my husband, it was a very pleasant surprise! A "de na volta" trattoria, as unfortunately you can't find many around anymore. Simple, clean environment, friendly and helpful staff. And the food? The traditional one, delicious and with generous portions. We ate fish, but we will definitely be back to try the meat dishes which really made us want them too! Excellent experience and very honest prices, we will recommend it.

16/02/2025: We had our wedding at The Gritti Palace and it was phenomenal!! We want to thank the chef and all the staff at the Club Del Doge, all our guests were blown away by the menu they curated for us. And the staff were so friendly and attentive the entire dinner. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Venice this is the place!!

22/01/2025: Gourmet restaurant in a typical and very pleasant setting. However, being used to this type of establishment, you pay a lot more for the setting than the food. Very well presented cuisine and very pleasant service but it is not worth the price in my opinion. Having done a lot of gastronomic in France but also in Italy it is not worth the price. 19/01/2025: El restaurante Ai Mercati tiene como objetivo ofrecer una experiencia gastronómica sofisticada con un enfoque en platos creativos, ubicados en un ambiente que combina a la perfección la elegancia moderna con el encanto tradicional. Sin embargo, la ejecución deja mucho que desear. El servicio, aunque innegablemente profesional, carecía de un toque sincero, haciéndolo sentir algo impersonal a pesar de la atención del personal. El menú cuenta con una selección moderada de platos que, aunque prometen creatividad, son notablemente pequeños en porción. El pulpo con mousse de calabaza servía como entrante era bueno pero le faltaba condimento, y decepcionantemente, las dos porciones variaban de tamaño. El plato de pasta, presentado como plato principal, era tan diminuto que podría haber sido confundido con otro entrante. Por otra parte, fue sorprendente y un poco fuera de lugar - poner ese aceite de oliva para el pan incurrió en un cargo extra. La carta de vinos, sin embargo, es impresionante, mostrando una buena selección de vinos de nicho que atienden a los entusiastas que buscan algo único. Sin embargo, los precios son bastante altos teniendo en cuenta la creatividad y los ingredientes de los platos. Este desequilibrio dificulta la justificación del gasto. Durante nuestra visita, el restaurante se llenó de turistas en lugar de locales, restando valor a la auténtica experiencia que esperábamos. Si bien Ai Mercati muestra potencial, debe abordar cuestiones como el tamaño de las porciones, el condimento y la relación calidad-precio para alinearse con su ambicioso concepto. A pesar del servicio profesional pero impersonal y la excelente selección de vinos, en general, el restaurante no ofrece una excelente experiencia gastronómica. Si busca un lugar frecuentado por los lugareños, esta podría no ser la mejor opción.

28/12/2024: Ho pranzato con la mia famiglia (eravamo in 8) in questo ristorante vicinissimo a San Marco. Ci hanno riservato una saletta,la loro accoglienza e' stata squisita. Abbiamo passato davvero in bel momento e degustato diversi cibi interessanti. Ricchezza di profumi,sapori e consistenze. Provate anche i dolci! Siamo usciti felici da Ai Mercanti. Molte grazie!

20/09/2024: I went a couple of times, both alone and with friends. The staff has always been very kind and the food is truly excellent!!! I recommend it to everyone, plus you can also reserve tables (which doesn't happen in all kiosks).

03/03/2025: An honest pizza, considering that it is a place for large numbers, the service is efficient and the quality is appreciable. Some interesting beers but nothing particularly fancy.

01/03/2025: It almost got full marks because the pizza (in my case a cheese pizza with, among other things, red cheese and onions was terrific. Great dough and very good, plentiful toppings. The draft beer was well tapped - it fits. But the menu is in a sorry state (torn everywhere) and might have kept the score up. But the tiramisu was nothing. And absolutely nothing. Tastes like cheap supermarket tiramisu, a large piece but not enjoyable. I already had a tiramisu in Murano today - a mini piece - but the BEST tiramisu I've ever eaten (maybe check out my previous review to find the place). All in all, a pizza recommendation in a harmonious atmosphere, lots of guests and a pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant

27/02/2025: We had a magical dinner here.Food was good.Staffs were nice, they let us go outside to take in the view(we were supposed to sit outside but it started raining so they sat us inside).It was beautiful!
