09/06/2025: Location stupenda sono rimasto molto male dal servizio. Non mi sono mai trovato peggio, peggior posto dove fare aperitivo. Peccato per la location che è fantastica.

08/06/2025: Le charme opère dès l’arrivée : un accueil sympathique, un cadre enchanteur perché au-dessus du canal, presque suspendu dans le temps. On est immédiatement séduit par la beauté des lieux, véritable carte postale vivante. À table, les plats sont bien exécutés, maîtrisés, parfois même surprenants de finesse. La cuisine est indéniablement de qualité, et le soin apporté à la présentation est digne des grandes tables. Mais la note, elle, grimpe aussi vite que la gondole s’éloigne du quai… Avec des tarifs dignes d’un restaurant étoilé — un simple dessert, composé d’un tiramisu un peu sec, avoisinant les 20 €, auquel on ajoute un café à 9 € pour tenter de réhydrater l’ensemble — on frôle les 30 € pour une fin de repas un brin décevante. Une gourmandise à prix d’or, qui laisse un goût… d’amertume. Et que dire du service de gondole proposé par la maison ? 120 € pour 20 minutes de navigation, sans charme particulier, ni explication ni attention… on flirte dangereusement avec la sensation d’arnaque touristique. En somme, une très belle expérience visuelle et gustative dans l’ensemble, mais entachée par des tarifs excessifs et quelques faux pas. Un lieu qui gagne à être découvert, mais mieux vaut garder un œil sur l’addition… et les pieds sur terre.

18/06/2025: An absolutely magical dining experience! Essentiale on Lido offers not just a meal, but a front-row seat to Venice's lagoon beauty. Sitting right on the waterfront, we were treated to a stunning sea views that culminated in a breathtaking sunset– pure joy! This wasn't just dinner; it was easily one of the best meals we had in Italy. The star was undoubtedly the 1.2kg seabass– baked to perfection, incredibly fresh and simply superb. Every bite reflected the quality. What elevated the night even further was the truly amazing service – attentive and warm. Considering the exceptional location, the outstandingly fresh food, and the wonderful service, we found the prices very reasonable/average. From the sunset to the seabass to the staff, everything was exceptional. We will surely come again!

The menu may be small, but every single dish is crafted to perfection. You can tell that a lot of thought and love goes into the food — each bite feels like a piece of heaven. Fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and a level of care that you don’t find often. It’s one of those places where quality over quantity truly shines. The staff is another highlight. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They make you feel like a guest in their home rather than just a customer. Their service was attentive without being overwhelming, and you can tell they care about creating a beautiful experience from start to finish. What makes this place even more special is the peaceful atmosphere — it's not overcrowded like many other spots in Venice. You can actually relax, have a conversation, enjoy your food, and take in the view without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. If you're visiting Venice and want a place that feels authentic, intimate, and absolutely delicious — this is it. A perfect place for a romantic dinner, a quiet escape, or simply to enjoy great food by the water. Truly a rare find. Highly recommended.

06/06/2025: While the service borders on excellence in its kindness and sincere attention, the rest of the experience struggles to keep up. This is a far cry from the standards required by the Michelin Guide. The setting, while charming in some respects, nevertheless suffers from a slightly gloomy atmosphere, as if the establishment were wavering between cozy intimacy and soulless decor. As for the menu, it stands out more for its brevity than its creativity. The selection is reduced to a meager portion, and the food, unfortunately, fails to make up for this lack of inspiration. The cuisine, while not unworthy, falls far short of the expectations a Michelin star arouses. The conventional dishes lack precision, depth, and, above all, emotion. We expected a sensory journey; instead, we witnessed a simple, forgettable stopover. The staff, smiling and attentive, remains the true strength of the establishment. But, on its own, it cannot carry the promise of a great restaurant.

27/05/2025: Top. Cibo, servizio, location, prezzo. Non comprendo chi si lamenti dei prezzi. Io ho cenato alla grande con portate particolari e abbondanti, con materia prima di livello. Assolutamente da provare! Anche il biglietto da visita (un plettro) era in stile: particolarissimo. Abbiamo cenato accanto al magnifico acquario.

20/06/2025: L'Anguilla is the seafood restaurant you would always like to find in a seaside location: authentic, welcoming, with dishes that truly taste of the sea. But the real added value is them, the waiters: friendly, present, human. Two in particular have entered our hearts! Mom and I will never forget them!! A place where you eat well and feel even better. To return, always!!

25/05/2025: Calling it an ice cream shop is daring, little choice of ice creams, the taste of my ice cream was not pleasant, in addition to having found pieces of ice inside; we sit at the table outside to consume it but they make us get up because "busy" P.s. After twenty minutes other people sat down. Not recommended!!!

19/04/2025: Un errore può capitare, ma ignorarlo è sinonimo di scarsa professionalità e poca riconoscenza. Uno scampo marcio nel fritto misto, segnalato subito al cameriere, è stato liquidato senza scuse né riscontro. Nessun gesto di cortesia al momento del conto, solo una risposta secca del cameriere che è riuscito solamente a dire che tutto il pesce era fresco. Deludente atteggiamento, zero attenzione al cliente.

28/05/2025: Deliciosa cena Tuvimos una deliciosa cena aquí y los propietarios son amables y acogedores ¡Conocimos a mamá y hermano! Entrada de espárragos y almejas de afeitar Luego filete de lenguado y un rodaballo simplemente cocinado con estilo y cuidado genuino. Todo el personal era amable y eficiente. Es un restaurante relajado con ingredientes de buena calidad.

16/05/2025: El servicio fue excelente con taxis y todo. Comida y especialmente pescado blanco fue manchado en Fuera del comedor era poco ruidoso, pero eso también se debió a la fuerte lluvia

05/05/2025: Amazing birthday dinner: it was a surprise for my husbands 40th bday, incredible food and even better service! Thanks to our Australian friend John who made it an unforgettable night. Do not miss the shrimp tartare, spicy pancetta or veal&truffle homemade spaghetti! We will definitely repeat :)

06/07/2025: The location is the only plus point of this restaurant, otherwise an experience to absolutely forget. We went for dinner on Saturday night at 9 pm and, to our great surprise, we were told that two fish dishes we wanted to order were not available. We were therefore forced to settle for the grilled food, the only alternative offered. The raw fish appetizers were the first alarm bell: the tuna did not taste like tuna, the spider crab tasteless. Then, instead of the first courses, the grilled food was brought directly to us. After an excessive wait, we asked for the first courses: they had not yet arrived and, at that point, we asked to cancel them. The response? "You ordered them, so you pay for them anyway." One of the three first courses arrived shortly after, evidently reheated: hot dish, dry and tasteless pasta. When we observed this, the waiter responded rudely, sarcastically inviting us to go to the kitchen to check if there was a microwave. Unacceptable. The last two plates of spaghetti with lupini beans arrived even later. Freshly made, decent, but nothing that could improve the experience. After we expressed our disappointment, the staff began to openly show us annoyance. We were treated with condescension and rudeness. In conclusion, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is the classic tourist place where the quality of the food is poor and the service leaves much to be desired. A wasted opportunity in a beautiful location.

27/05/2025: I went to dinner and I have to make some considerations.. The fish was good and well plated but the portion was decidedly small, the sea bass served with potatoes had a total of 5 very thin potato slices, and there were two very lean fillets... for 17 euros it was truly a robbery... a little more substance would not have been bad. I would add that in the bill I was charged 3 euros for a 0.75 lt bottle of water, considering that it arrived at the table without a cap, and it was obviously tap water at most microfiltered I would say that skimming off these little things is in bad taste. Finally I was alone in the restaurant and at the time I was a guest I was the only guest. I waited 45 minutes for my dish... actually quite a long time, I don't dare to think on a packed evening... let's say I expected better!

19/05/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming with soft music, the food is excellent quality, everything was delicious, the service was very kind, everyone was available, recommended to anyone passing through Mestre
