08/04/2025: Ottima trattoria in posizione strategica per chi visita anche il Museo del Vetro, situato proprio di fronte, dall’altra parte del canale. Ottimi piatti di pesce, curati, con accostamenti innovativi (cenere di olive, aglio nero, ecc.) ma mantenendo comunque la tradizione del luogo. Personale molto gentile. Prezzi onesti: due primi di pesce, due contorni, acqua e due caffè per 59 euro. Segnalo il dehors, adornato da bellissimi globi di vetro colorato, che fanno ricordare che siamo a Murano, città del vetro per eccellenza.

30/03/2025: siamo andati a cena durante un breve soggiorno a Murano. Ci siamo trovati molto bene per cui siamo tornati la sera dopo. Piatti di pesce ottimi, sia i primi che i secondi, cucinati proprio in modo impeccabile, personale gentile e disponibile. Ottima scelta di vini, prezzi contenuti per la qualità del servizio

27/05/2025: I went to dinner and I have to make some considerations.. The fish was good and well plated but the portion was decidedly small, the sea bass served with potatoes had a total of 5 very thin potato slices, and there were two very lean fillets... for 17 euros it was truly a robbery... a little more substance would not have been bad. I would add that in the bill I was charged 3 euros for a 0.75 lt bottle of water, considering that it arrived at the table without a cap, and it was obviously tap water at most microfiltered I would say that skimming off these little things is in bad taste. Finally I was alone in the restaurant and at the time I was a guest I was the only guest. I waited 45 minutes for my dish... actually quite a long time, I don't dare to think on a packed evening... let's say I expected better!

11/05/2025: Ambiente molto ventilato con una sistemazione poco comoda in quanto il cameriere per poter servire una persona del tavolo ha avuto bisogno di essere aiutato da uno di noi Un antipasto della casa nella media che è costato parecchio più del dovuto (37€) Il secondo un soaso alla griglia per due che non aveva niente di particolare per essere una proposta della casa Un primo del giorno “paccheri al pesce spada” che sapeva di sugo di pomodori Tutto molto comune da trattoria/pizzeria ad un prezzo di ristorarante di ottimo livello

29/03/2025: Teníamos expectativas muy altas y teníamos el restaurante recomendado. El personal parecía amable. Pedimos dos platos principales y dos postres, incluyendo dos bebidas alcohólicas. Los tamaños de las porciones de los platos principales de pasta eran increíblemente pequeños. También nos dimos cuenta de que la mesa de al lado tenía un pan de cortesía para comenzar, y así las seis mesas que llegaron después también recibieron pan de cortesía, pero no lo hicimos. Pensamos que se habían olvidado, pero no lo hicieron - la razón por la que no conseguimos un pan fue porque no pedimos un entrante que era desconcertante y nos sentimos muy incómodos y que nos señalaron. Creo que esto es horrible para señalar una mesa por no conseguir algo que todos los demás están recibiendo, a pesar de que gastamos mucho dinero allí (no es un restaurante barato de ninguna manera). El personal necesita mirar cómo tratan a los clientes. Nunca nos hemos sentido más incómodos.

19/01/2025: El restaurante Ai Mercati tiene como objetivo ofrecer una experiencia gastronómica sofisticada con un enfoque en platos creativos, ubicados en un ambiente que combina a la perfección la elegancia moderna con el encanto tradicional. Sin embargo, la ejecución deja mucho que desear. El servicio, aunque innegablemente profesional, carecía de un toque sincero, haciéndolo sentir algo impersonal a pesar de la atención del personal. El menú cuenta con una selección moderada de platos que, aunque prometen creatividad, son notablemente pequeños en porción. El pulpo con mousse de calabaza servía como entrante era bueno pero le faltaba condimento, y decepcionantemente, las dos porciones variaban de tamaño. El plato de pasta, presentado como plato principal, era tan diminuto que podría haber sido confundido con otro entrante. Por otra parte, fue sorprendente y un poco fuera de lugar - poner ese aceite de oliva para el pan incurrió en un cargo extra. La carta de vinos, sin embargo, es impresionante, mostrando una buena selección de vinos de nicho que atienden a los entusiastas que buscan algo único. Sin embargo, los precios son bastante altos teniendo en cuenta la creatividad y los ingredientes de los platos. Este desequilibrio dificulta la justificación del gasto. Durante nuestra visita, el restaurante se llenó de turistas en lugar de locales, restando valor a la auténtica experiencia que esperábamos. Si bien Ai Mercati muestra potencial, debe abordar cuestiones como el tamaño de las porciones, el condimento y la relación calidad-precio para alinearse con su ambicioso concepto. A pesar del servicio profesional pero impersonal y la excelente selección de vinos, en general, el restaurante no ofrece una excelente experiencia gastronómica. Si busca un lugar frecuentado por los lugareños, esta podría no ser la mejor opción.

08/04/2025: Myself and my wife stayed at the hotel for a weekend and had the pleasure to dine at what I believe to be the best restaurant on the island. We started our evening with 2 cocktails which were twist on the classics, orchid daquiri and ginger sour. And second set of cocktails were recommended by the staff to try their aperol spritz and negeoni spritz with another twist which was just brilliant. Again, from the entire island the best cocktails handsdown. However expect to pay €25 per cocktail. The dinner started off with red prawn tartar with sweet flavours from the prawn and apples. Another starter was slow cooked port belly with sweet leek sauce and artichoke mash. We skipped the pasta dish as we tried this plenty of times on the island. Instead opted for pumpkin risotto, pumpkin chunks with demi glaze sauce and grilled quail. And turbot stuffed with its fatty belly meat and served with roasted sweet potatoes. The desserts just didn't stop. First we were sent a red dessert wine on the house, which again we didn't expect but highly appreciated. First round of desserts started with a soft cookie topped with fresh cream, custard and berries, no bigger than half the size of your index finger. Second came another small plate of chocolate, peach jelly and one another I cannot remember. And finally they brought out our desserts that we ordered, which was a bread and butter pudding accompanied by vanilla gelato and rum cream. And plate that resembles mushrooms in a field, the base of the mushroom was meringue with a soft cookie like cake filled with white chocolate and the red on top was a tangy berry flavour. The green on the plate was matcha cake crumbles with a few berries and raspberry jam. This is an experience well above other restaurants such as impronta which felt like a complete waste of money. I believe this restaurant doesn't get quite the attention as it's attached to the hotel, from 25-30 tables that were present only 3 were filled that night but this will change I'm sure. The bill will be close to €500 and unlike many other reviews here, the service and the food here do match that.

08/06/2025: Excited to find sarde in saor on the menu, I was very disappointed. The raisins and vinegar were missing, and the onion was not stewed properly. Those who ordered tagliatelle with radicchio found instead tasteless linguine. When we pointed out that white tagliatelle did not exist (we are from Bologna) they told us that these were the ones they were provided with. The 5 people who ate these tagliatelle were absolutely dissatisfied. We had to ask for bread several times because the portions were definitely insufficient for the number of diners. On the other hand, the grilled fish was superb and the mixed salad excellent and plentiful. The bill was definitely high but to be expected given the location

07/06/2025: Outrageous prices for a huge, starving boiled meat. Prices not in line with the quality of the product. Menus and dishes purely touristy. He will never see us again!!!!!!

19/04/2025: Un errore può capitare, ma ignorarlo è sinonimo di scarsa professionalità e poca riconoscenza. Uno scampo marcio nel fritto misto, segnalato subito al cameriere, è stato liquidato senza scuse né riscontro. Nessun gesto di cortesia al momento del conto, solo una risposta secca del cameriere che è riuscito solamente a dire che tutto il pesce era fresco. Deludente atteggiamento, zero attenzione al cliente.

25/05/2025: Calling it an ice cream shop is daring, little choice of ice creams, the taste of my ice cream was not pleasant, in addition to having found pieces of ice inside; we sit at the table outside to consume it but they make us get up because "busy" P.s. After twenty minutes other people sat down. Not recommended!!!

09/02/2025: Il locale è molto curato, luci soffuse, pareti scure, un enorme acquario, tavolini stretti, musica soffice e laida, personale preparato e di bell'aspetto. Pare di essere in una capitale europea, non a Favaro veneto. Menù a meta' fra ristornate e bistrot con tutti i grandi classici in carta, dal club sandwich al filetto alla Rossini, dal lobster roll alla Cesar salad. Bella carta dei vini, più di blasone che di sostanza. Orari agevoli e notturni delle 19 e 30 a finché dio vorrà. Molto comodo per chi torna da un viaggio (l'aeroporto di Venezia e' vicinissimo) ad ore improbabili e vuole mettere qualcosa in pancia che non sia paccottiglia mediorientale. Veniamo alla nota dolente. Veramente l'unica, ma veramente dolente: prezzi altissimi. Altro che Londra o Parigi. Andateci, ma preparati. Fa malissimo al portafoglio. Più di quanto possiate ragionevolmente immaginare. Mandi.

23/10/2024: Quando si veniva al caffè concerto nei primi anni ottanta il locale era molto più piccolo ma sempre gestito con le stesse amorevoli cure. Oggi gli spazi sono più ampi ma sempre caratterizzati dalla stessa intimità e convivialitá. Menú ricco e sempre aggiornato. Prezzi adeguati alla elevata quantità e qualità offerte. Merita.

11/05/2025: Overpriced and unhygienic – not a recommendation. The accommodation is centrally located, but that by no means justifies the price. There were no real duvets, just a thin, summery cloth - far too cold in spring. I asked the receptionist for help because of my fear of rats, but he just brushed me off. Deducting €290 for three people seems to work without any problems, but offering help doesn't work. In addition, there is a smell on every corner. Never again.

25/05/2025: Muito caro para o vem na mesa. Carbonara fria e carne de 26 euros com uma micro folha de alface de acompanhamento. Um absurdo. Um prato gigante com a carne no meio sem nada mais. Garçom simpatico. Mas não voltaria!

14/05/2025: I ordered Sarde in Saor which was fabulous. I had no idea what to expect but wanted to try something traditional. Glad I did! I followed it with the fegato. It was also delicious but portions for both dishes were not generous. My companion ordered sea bream with vegetables. Her fish was very nicely cooked but a slice of aubergine, one slice of courgette & one slice of pepper really isn’t ’vegetables’. It’s garnish! The liver came with just 2 small leaves of lettuce on the edge of the plate. We enjoyed our meals but it was an expensive lunch considering the small portions. Our desserts were standard fare, tiramisu and an Italian meringue with strawberries. Service was professional but quite speedy. For €114, which included two glasses of rosé, I would have expected service that was slightly more leisurely and not such skimpy portions. On balance, although our lunch was pleasant, Riva Rosa didn’t justify the price.
