04/04/2024: Very kind and professional staff, welcoming owners, good raw materials although perhaps I was expecting something more intense in terms of local flavours. I tried the platter, the escarole and the artichoke. Tastefully renovated place, perhaps it lacks a little "warmth" overall.

02/01/2024: Accolti con signorile calore, ci siamo subito sentiti a nostro agio, pur entrando in un luogo elegante (tipico del ristorante stellato) che potrebbe mettere soggezione. Una serie di entrée di grande raffinatezza e tutt’altro che banali hanno aperto le danze, per poi proiettarci in un luogo di eccellenza, con piatti presentati personalmente dal “capitano” chef Polito in persona. Il suo cappuccino è una genialata, da provare assolutamente. E poi tutto il resto, con materie prime di super qualità. Cibo eccellente, carta dei vini di tutto rispetto, signorilità e puntualità nel servizio. Rapporto qualità prezzo onesto. Mi stupisce che non ci sia la stella Michelin.

05/01/2024: Non si può definire una cena. È un viaggio, un’esperienza meravigliosa attraverso sapori e consistenze a cui non siamo abituati, uno stupirsi ad ogni boccone. Pesce di qualità altissima, trattato e cucinato con una cura, un’attenzione ed un’innovazione difficili da trovare in giro. Servizio cordiale, cortese e mai invadente. Singoli piatti spiegati alla perfezione anche dallo Chef, che trasmette amore e passione per quello che fa. Ambiente piccolo, intimo e molto curato. Io ed il mio compagno siamo rimasti estasiati, mi avete fatto passare una cena di compleanno meravigliosa. GRAZIE!

07/10/2023: Mia moglie la bimba ed io siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante ed è andata molto bene. Avevamo l'esigenza di cenare rapidamente visto che la bimba piccola non resiste molto a tavola ed hanno subito compreso la nostra esigenza venendoci incontro in tutto. Menù degustazione base davvero perfetto, tutto squisito! Lo chef ha un gran talento ed il personale di sala è attento, gentile, disponibile e preparato. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale, abbiamo apprezzato che ci hanno offerto il baccalà mantecato per la bimba. Buona carta dei vini, locale intimo e curato. Bravi, bravi, bravi. Assolutamente consigliato, torneremo presto.

02/04/2024: Pleasant and characteristic place, found a seat immediately even on Easter Monday, table service with a smile and kindness, ordered various dishes off the menu, all good, amazing tiramisu, shame about the 3 ciriole alla "boscaiola"....3 different first courses arrived based on mushrooms in oil but I was very hungry. Prices normal

29/03/2024: We passed by chance, to have a quick dinner and continue walking through the streets of the city, the piadina was delicious, DOC Romagna dough, excellent quality condiments. After the walk we came back and got two more! Even with delicious "chips in their skin". Highly recommended!!!

04/04/2024: We have tried both the rooms and the restaurant in countless circumstances and we have always found great professionalism towards customers; cuisine and comfort of the highest quality. In particular we would like to point out the courtesy and education of all the staff. Even for this aspect alone, it is an experience that is absolutely recommended.

29/03/2024: This family-run structure is a corner of beauty, hospitality and serenity set in a holy and peaceful place such as Assisi and, furthermore, particularly recommended for its proximity to the Basilica of S. Maria degli Angeli. The atmosphere you breathe, thanks to the courtesy and kindness of its owners and managers, make your stays unique experiences of life and sharing. The standard of the food is excellent as is the accommodation in the rooms, carefully furnished and perfectly maintained in all their aspects. From the Cantico it is possible to easily reach on foot or, for those relatively distant, by taxi or bus (available in the immediate vicinity), all the places dear to Franciscanism and art. We recommend everyone, for the good of body and mind, a stop at the Cantico.....you will be enraptured....and you will be the one to say it.....Seeing is believing!!
