12/05/2026: My review is clearly different from many others and it is just my opinion. It’s a nice location and ambiance is nice with a view to the gardens. But for me the service was a problem. I was shown to a table then asked to move as they said I had not reserved. I had. In fact I was staying at the hotel with ‘board’ so of course I had reserved. Anyway I changed seat. This wasn’t a good start though. I was not subject to the benefit perhaps of one waiter. ‘My table’ was visited by many waiters and waitresses in a somewhat inattentive manner. The menu and food itself is only for those who enjoy that type of food. It’s complex food that you might find in a Michelin starred restaurant. But this is not a Michelin starred place and for me the menu is unnecessarily complicated and ‘pretentious’ almost. Let’s offer super complex food and create a case of the Emperor and his new clothes. There is no choice to say the Emperor’s clothes are wonderful, but at least to my taste this is a place to be avoided. For my second night I did avoid it. Aside from the food the service really was not what you would expect. A contrast between huge enthusiasm and energy telling me I can sit where I want except where I am sitting to a rather grumpy almost resentful waiter who looked so critical and judgmental I wondered why this chap worked as a waiter at all. I fully recognize being a waiter must be at times a challenge, I worked in a bar a long time ago. But if you don’t like it don’t do it. If you find yourself at this hotel and agree with me I can recommend the bar just near the parking for a drink and the local supermarket to buy delicious ham, cheese and fresh pizza rolls which is what I did on my second night. It was much more tasty and authentic than anything I had at the restaurant

10/05/2026: We stayed at the hotel next to Donini and ate at the restaurant, excellent service, refined cuisine, class and style in a little village where you would never stop... on the E45, I highly recommend it.

07/04/2026: We had dinner at the tavola calda. The staff were friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. The food was excellent. The wait was perhaps a little long, but the value was excellent. It's one of the few places in Perugia where the portions aren't paltry and the prices are ridiculously high.

26/11/2025: We visited this grill restaurant with friends from work. I can say it's a lovely, homey place. Reservations are essential, as there aren't many seats. The owner is very friendly and professional. We started our meal with a wide selection of homemade appetizers. The meat was very tasty, grilled lamb, bombette, turcinieddi, braciole, and meatballs. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend it.

02/11/2025: CRAZY! In Fasano for a weekend, list of grill restaurants to book, first phone call no one answered, second phone call Angelo answered: "Are you ready?" Communication was simple, homey, and welcoming. Once we sat down at the table, we just listened to Angelo telling us: "Here you'll just eat, you'll eat things you've never eaten before!" As a native of Puglia, I have to tell you that I've truly never eaten so well, authentic and unique flavors, meat that truly melted in your mouth. We ate so much. Digestion was incredibly easy, the quality was truly excellent! Super price! For the quality, I think it's low! I'll return and recommend it!! If you're looking, book now and you'll experience a CRAZY culinary journey!

08/01/2026: My husband and I stayed for New Year's Eve and left on January 2nd. We both stayed and dined at the Locanda, and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was very kind, and the dinner was superb! Breakfast was meticulously prepared, with a different dessert made every day by the owner of the Locanda! Highly recommended! We'll be back soon! 19/06/2026: I don't understand how they can keep a business open while construction is underway: dust and debris rise up right where waiters are passing by with their dishes, a situation that almost certainly causes contamination. Is this a legal situation? The lack of professionalism is already evident here. The food was okay, nothing to complain about, just adequate for the price. I sincerely advise you not to stay here and to walk a few steps further to find restaurants worth your money.

26/04/2026: On this beautiful, sunny Sunday, my wife and I found this place very welcoming and the staff were so friendly, we felt like we were part of the family and had known each other for a long time. We came from Terni to visit this beautiful town and found it to be excellent value. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were excellent, as were the tortellini alla norcina, and we finished with wild boar with juniper berries, tiramisu, and two delicious morette. What struck us most was the love and attention they show for the animals, which they enjoy. I admire these people with deep gratitude, and I hope to visit you very soon. Riccardo Gili and family.

18/04/2026: I'll be honest, I can't judge the food because we didn't have a chance to eat... but the terrible attitude of the staff in charge was enough. Let me start by saying that I work in the public sector and have also worked in the restaurant industry... We went to Luciano Terrazza; recommended by friends... We arrived without a reservation with our little girl. We asked the staff if there was room for two people and a high chair. They said yes and let us in. At the same time, the waiter asked the manager where to seat us, "two people with high chairs?" And there, the manager, thinking we couldn't see, made a not-so-friendly gesture with his hands, as if we were bothering him, exclaiming something I didn't want to say, at which point he looked up and realized we'd noticed. At that point, he shoved us into a corner, saying, "It's the only place, the rest is booked." P.S. The place was half-empty. I would have accepted that place because I didn't have reservations or special needs anyway. But it's clear that having a child not even a year old with us would have pissed off the manager. So as soon as we came in, we left... That's why I can't rate the quality of the food. P.S. The restaurant had free seats even later...

02/02/2026: Chronologically, starting with the food. It must be said quite clearly that the most capable man in this establishment is the chef. The service would love to recapture the glory of bygone years. Unfortunately, it's just as outdated as the wine glasses. Wine service isn't a priority here. Guests are expected to help themselves if they wish to enjoy their wine. The ambiance is a complete panorama of 1980s elegance – certainly Grand Novel Cuisine back then. Today it looks much the same, a bit dated, but nonetheless possessing an elegant charm. All in all, worth a visit.

01/03/2026: Incompetence and a lack of professionalism, coupled with a swanky atmosphere. I ordered two bottles for a birthday, complete with a "finger" on the menu. They were brought two bottles of the same type of wine but at very different prices. The bill magically rose from €50 to €180. #shootyourself

01/03/2026: Steps: (1) the waiting time from the order, 1 hour just for the appetizer, steps (2) that the service was not excellent, they forgot to bring us some dishes, but standing there eating while there is a coming and going of people with shopping bags, pizza boxes, baby bottles, who pass by you, because customers of the hotel (which is located above the restaurant) pass by on their way to their room, absolutely NO and absolutely NO! The sushi was good but too expensive for the quantity and quality
